Hard to say exactly what it could be. Though, it could be a bad servo, broken linkage, or even as simple as a rock jamming up the steering.
I put this setup in my senton and it’s going slower . Do you know what could be causing that ?
There are 2 things in my mind that may be causing it. What battery are you putting in it, and what size pinion are you using?
@@fullandtenth6405 a 3300mAh 8.4 v and the stock pinion , they guy at the hobby shop told me it should work fine with the battery so I’m thinking it’s the pinion
yeah the stock pinion is a bit small, i'd recommend stepping up 3 or 4 teeth.
@@fullandtenth6405 did you end up having to upgrade the spur gear cuz if destroyed 3 in 2 days ?
I never really damaged the stock spur, however I have since upgraded to the brushless slipper and spur assembly.
does the motor and esc run on nimh too
the motor and esc I show in the video can use NiMH batteries as well, however the performance will be far less than even with a 2 cell LiPo.
@@fullandtenth6405 thank you
Would the Firma 85 A brushless work
yes the 85a would be plenty for a 3s setup. the 130 is overkill, but could do 4s
@@fullandtenth6405 thanks
Where can I get those parts?
Local hobby shops, for example HobbytownUSA or online places like Horizon hobby or Amain hobbies
Do u have a link for us dummies? Lol
Hey, have you ran this conversation on 4s yet I wanna know if the motor can handle 4s?
Unfortunately I have not tried a 4s battery with this motor/esc combo yet, however I am definitely going to try it sometime. I'll be sure to share my thoughts when I get a chance.
@@fullandtenth6405 sounds good👍
Just start with a brushless its better in the long more reliable
Yeah we know that now... lol but the brushed is 100 bucks cheaper and comes with a battery... lol wish I would of spent the extra 100 bucks on the brushless
Man, never drive like that on 2s. If your lipo could talk, let me tell that IT WOULD BE MAD!
You should use at least a 3s 5000mAh.
Doesn’t work, my esc and receiver are built into one, followd this video and just ended up having to spend more money
For the senton? You remove the stock esc
