Despite most of the following items being deluxes, here are several 2-packs I would love to see: 1) Rasta Mater and Rastacarian without the dreadlocks 2) Rasta Mater without the dreadlocks and Captain Collision 3) El Materdor without hood and Matador McQueen.
This video is one I've been excited about for a while now and it is so satisfying to see it's finally here, I had a blast helping out with this as Mater The Greater means everything to me, specifically his diecast as it was a gift from my Grandmother way back when the 3 with him, Lug and Buck pack came out, I've cherished him for years as he was really my only toons mater I had until they brought back the toons in 2023, I had Dr. Tow Truck before but somehow lost him so Mater The Greater was really the only one, I believe also being my first gift from my sweet abuela, I she helped get a few more cars like a 3 pack with Cars 3 Mack and Kay and Mae Pillar Durev but I'm pretty confident Mater The Greater was the first Car she gifted me. It's also cool I now have some more toons Maters in my roster including Metallic Rescue Squad Mater from the BluRay pack, Tokyo Mater, and Aviator Mater, but again MTG will always be the one closest to me. This video was amazing, and I loved watching it and helping out as I said before, sorry this comment is long my excitement is still kinda through the roof, good show!
@@wuwwuw6089 The Disney Store has a separate diecast line that's larger, they released a 3-pack from that short, but I don't cover their towline in this series since it's separate
It’s so baffling how the toon line was constructed they released a whole bunch of background cars and yet they make the maters ether extremely difficult to get or not releasing them at all like how it took 5 years after to get a regular tokyo mater just insanity
They clearly intended to do better but Cars 2 meant many releases had to get canned sadly, Did you know Mater The Greater was intended to be a deluxe, number 18 in the line, yet he wasn't released as a deluxe, thankfully allowing for a single release in 2017, here's hoping he gets rereleased sometime
I have the red metallic rescue squad mater along with gold metallic cruising lightning McQueen when I got the cars blu ray from 2009 in which the 2009 reissue blu ray of cars uses the 2009 disc master from the original 2007 release cuz it is updated with 2009 previews on it like the previews of toy story 3 up and dumbo 70th anniversary edition in retrospect that was before Cars was reissued on blu ray 2 years later in 2011 that same year the incredibles was on blu ray and was to promote cars 2 in theaters in June 24th

Time travel mater will be featured in a later episode, since it takes place after Cars 2, and Mater Private Eye actually never got any diecasts....

And elmcqueen didn’t even get released 💀the toons line is just a disaster they didn’t make captain collision ether or the other Mia and tias
