Hi Sadia! If you still read the comments, I want you to know that you and your Pick Up Limes journey has changed my life. This channel, along with The Minimalists documentary, has inspired me to go *mostly* vegan, downsize my belongings to only as much as I needed and loved, experiment with cooking, journaling, and posting videos of my travel footage. I’ve simplified my beauty and hygiene and switched to only natural products. I make zero waste swaps wherever possible and now genuinely enjoy working out and cooking healthy meals. I am more in touch with my body and my surroundings, and much of that is thanks to you and the rest of the people that make PUL possible. Thank you. You’ve put me on a path to a better lifestyle.

I also smile a lot...been abroad for studies and my chinese professor actually asked me why I always smile 🤔 I don't understand why it's even a problem....if you smile back that's nice, but you don't that's also perfectly ok. Why is that even a problem though. After this I tried my best to not smile while I'm out in uni and all....but I still end up giving smiles to people that I meet f2f 🙄

I'm doing this too, slowly figuring out how to manage nutrients without the meat and dairy, I do love eggs though so I don't think I'll be in a hurry to give those up but I have been doing one day on and one day off with meat meals, it's an adjustment.

They look a-mazing!! I was wondering if you could also make some tasty but with less ingredients recipes? As a student, and actually living now in the netherlands, I find buying so many different ingredients especially nuts very expensive...some tasty but simple recipes (breakkie, lunch or dinner) would be super interesting to see!! Thank you again and again for the amazing recipes and encouragement! I have made so many of your recipes and have yet to be disappointed. I have two requests for you. One-simple sides to take to a party or to prepare for having guests over. Two - Meal ideas I can make for my meat eating son and husband but can alter for my vegan self and daughter. I have done meat/non meat tacos, taco salads, sloppy joes, burgers, hotdogs, chicken patty sandwiches- the basics. Hugs and gratitude from Nebraska.

Sadia, as always, I absolutely loved this video! I've been a big fan of yours for a while now, and even mentioned your channel on my own channel as my favorite channel on RUclips! Would you consider one tiny suggestion for the rest of the videos you film in the new studio? For the scenes where you are talking to us on camera, would you consider lowering the blur in the background a bit, so we can see more of the beautiful PUL headquarters and the lovely plants?

After seeing many other videos from your channel, it inspires me to be more kind to my health and use less plastic packaging. The fact that you use many ingredients to give flavour to the food, I wish more companies used glass containers or cloth packaging for seeds, beans, rice, and other healthy foods. Thanks! I will be trying out the tofu spread.

Adding coconut milk is genius to make oatmeal more hearty. I tried your recipe but used a pumpkin spice almond milk instead. It's not exaggeration to say it's the best oatmeal I've ever had. Additionally, I've been looking for vegan alternatives for tea sandwiches. This "cream cheese" recipe is perfect for the classic cucumber sandwich.

I also soak my grains overnight. I find a really easy way to soak and cook grain is in small crock pot that has a setting that allows it to be kept warm after a certain number of hours.
For steel cut oats, I will set some oats in my crock pot in the morning to soak, rinse in the evening, and turn the crock pot on low right before bed. In the morning you have fresh delicious perfectly cooked oatmeal.
Likewise, with my brown rice, I will soak the rice overnight in the crock pot then rinse and start it in the morning. Your fresh fluffy rice when your return from work in the evening. Minimal fuss and time and makes meal prep really easy. You can also do a lot at once and store it if you have a large crock pot!

    Hi Sadia,
I really love your approach to meal-prep! Focusing on preparing ingredients instead of specific meals. Another video on that would be really helpful.
Also, loving the new space! :)

Sadia I’ve so enjoyed watching a lot of your recipe videos lately but my goodness do you and your husband love peanut butter haha!
I’m allergic to peanuts so I’ve never been able to fully comprehend how amazing it is, but I’d love to see any healthy, thick desserts from you.
My only go-to dessert recipe is a one-ingredient icecream: chop up a banana and freeze it in a ziplock bag for a few hours, then pop it into a food processor. The creaminess and natural sugars of the banana mean it already turns into an icecream-like consistency that doesn’t need any other flavouring haha!

Delicious, but too complicated, too many ingredientes, as a mom I'm looking recipes more simple and with less hard to find ingredients.
