If she wasn't reported missing as a married woman, then you know who did it.
Yup
Especially since he owned the building she was found in.
@bottlerocket3218 There are several cases where boyfriends and husband's have committed spousal rape. It doesn't indeed rule out the husband by any means.
Her pimp? The building use to be a nightclub
Your mom?
Well she was married and not reported missing, and buried at the building site her husband worked at, that's a slam dunk
Unless, perhaps, the man who killed her convinced her husband that she had run off with him.
Her husband worked there?
Anyway, hes of course the obvious suspect. She was too young & naive to know not to trust him. Sounds like theres a pedophilia age-gap between them; yeah she definitely was too naive to imagine who he really was.
@@pvtbuddie No excuse ever could make sense to me.
@@shondasmith5470 : Not an excuse for the murder, just a possible reason why he didn't report her missing: If he never knew she was missing.
@@pvtbuddie her husband and killer are dead ☠️
That breaks my heart that nobody reported her missing.
She may not have been from there. And I've heard of cases where the husband or boyfriend told family she took off with someone.
That man really looks and talks like a detective
Like a damn robot... for real. At first, I thought he was AI. Freekily still, staring an unblinking 1000 yard stare.
Cold fish for sure
@@keithhaynes5348 So watch a spokesperson like kjp.
Yeah, I thought his side of the screen was still loading 😂
@@meredithisme3752 : Or the opposite.
What a sad story. Murdered and forgotten.
Wait, someone was murdered?
..not by God...
@@NoOne-ii1th yes the detective said she was hog-tied and strangled. That’s murdered.
That’s so sad she was killed and forgotten about for 50 years that’s fucked up how do you sleep peacefully at night knowing you strangled and hog tied a teenager and encased her in concrete that’s evil as hell
I like this guy. He provides the required info without grandiose BS embellishment
Very business like. Say what you mean and mean what you say....ZERO B.S. love-it (smiles)
You are right. It is nice to see one who is not trying to draw attention to himself.
He has seen so much horrific stuff as a detective, so his demeaner will reflect what he's been through and what he's feeling. He's probably the warmest, nicest person you'll ever meet. Show empathy you guys.
💯
So what is the relationship between the mother that submitted the DNA to hopefully identify her daughter from the 911 event and the Jane Doe?
I wanted to know that also!
DNA didn't become useful until c. 1980
Possibly a sister, I’m thinking.
Funny how they didn't say. Protecting privacy or they don't know yet. Could be a very distant relative.
Distant relatives
if you want the full story, google 'midtown jane doe' and read the various news articles. the work the investigators did to identify her was fascinating--and sad.
RIP Patricia. Sad ending for this poor young lady.
Wow, Just mind blogging not one family member ever reported her missing not even once sad AF 😭
Have some empathy with the detective, people. He's probably seen some sh*t y'all couldn't even handle. Or doesn't do interviews as often.
I agree.
Exactly. He’s nervous because he’s being interviewed on camera.
😒calm down…good grief
Exactly.
He is nervous ..cauz he is probably not used to be on camera
Yes I agree..I have PTSD and "triggers" such as in this case "Body found" and a kid ,,17,19 and to be strangled ,,This kind of murder is personal, up close and personal..to boot,The Detective almost has to disassociate meaning he goes "blank" It is a coping mechanism for many people especially law enforcement and first responder's..My hands start to shake when I am "triggered" I too get a far away like trance/stare....Hope this helps friends...Imagine in your career having to witness the HORENDOUS aftermath's of what many SUB-HUMANS/SKELLS do to people..Many Police turn to alcohol..I only know this cause I dated a few Cops..
she could have been reported missing, Unfortunately, in the 1960s, many teenagers ran away from home, and just because they could not find a missing person report means nothing.
Why are they showing the deceased woman’s skull. In very poor taste and disrespectful to the victim and family.
So incredibly sad, I feel bad for her family who never had answers on her whereabouts
The way I understand it, sounds like no one in her family was missing her.
@@ritadyer9295does the police file missing people reports if they believe it's a runaway teen?
I’m glad she got her name back.🌹🕯️
So heartbreaking 💔
I wish the detective the best luck so he can find the killer and make justice to the (then) young girl.
Outstanding 👮♂️
Some other news outlets have more info. "The Scene" nightclub owned/operated by Steve Paul. He was 23 when it opened in 1964, so he would have been 27 or 28 in 1969. He died in 2012 at 71 and was preceded by 'longtime partner' Robert Kitchen with no surviving immediate family (NYT). All death notices seem to have come from the same source as do articles about him that appear to glorify him as some sort of music pioneer. He also seems to have had no personal life, no books written about him or the internet has been scrubbed. Other current reports are that she is believed to have had a child who was probably 'adopted'. With 'adoptions' being what they were then, the chances of locating that person are slim. She definitely encountered evil and died because of it. My question is---was there a single perpetrator or did they tag team?
No personal life or books written abuot him? Why, because you can't find his selfies on facebook??? He died in 1971!!!
@stoneneils he died in year 2012 at the age of 71.
@@luisa.acevedo3326 Great reason why you'd find nothing online. Maybe his obituary if he had a loving family AND his funeral home has a website for memories.
@@stoneneils the name was Donald Grant. His fate is unclear. It may not be the same person. That being said it's heavily speculated that they had a child, that was given to adoption. This case is far from closed.

That is so sad that her parents never got to know what happened to her while they were alive.. then again, knowing she was murdered by the man she ran off with might have been more Heartbreaking than just thinking she cut them off..

I bet her husband is shitting a brick right now!!! He knows the detectives will be calling on him.
not if hes already dead, which is likely.

Looks like hubby killed her since he was connected to building
Ironically, he “connected” his wife to the building, too!
Funny but Not
@@youwish378 You’re right, but it was long ago.
All that life missed . She died a teen and would have been in her seventies by now , enjoying her grandkids and retirement .
Keep us up on this story please.
POOR GIRL RIP PATRICIA ❤️➕.
Wow.
RIP, So sad, even more so that her own family did not report her missing. We know her mom and sister were alive until at least 2001.
They never said it was HER mother. Just a relative, who's daughter was a 9/11 victim.
This guy is a nightmare to interview .
He’s a pro not a show
He’s expressionless
What’s your point?
Nothing wrong with being solemn and giving factual answers in this situation. It’s not his job to make you feel a certain way.
So? A woman submits DNA sample to search for a 9-11 victim? But gets a hit on a 1969 disappearance? Is that (2) victims or (1)? I'm confused.
Related to the victim
Yes 2 victims. Trying to find her daughter in 9/11, made her find a relative that was also made a victim in the 60’s.
@@sunnydelight5255 Thanks!
This woman is unreal. There wasn't anything "simple" about this. All her questions were terrible. Horrible "journalust".
Wasn't there a Harry Bosch story similar to this where a woman was found years later during some construction work? Title is Concrete Blonde, where the woman is strangled and entombed in concrete. Authors do their research, so maybe a connection.
Ahhh yes, Detective Hieronymus Bosch! One of my all time favorites! 💯👍🏼
I think the robot detective did it.
Is that dude AI.
My thoughts exactly..............either he did not want to be on camera or has 0 personality..........probably both!
I hope you keep us updated. I am very much wanting to know the name of the man she married.
"'Midtown Jane Doe': Murdered teen hidden in legendary nightclub in 1969 identified"---Jesus, what a mouthful title.
Boy hes lively
This interview is painful to watch. Absolutely horrible.
I think reporters ask the dumbest questions.
I want to know who her family member in 911 was or is ‼️
This officer has his hands full since he will be dealing with pedophiles in the music industry. I wish him the very best of luck in finding all the answers he needs on this case; I'd start with those musicians who were around him in the 1960's and the guy's family.
🙏
The building where 'Midtown Jane Doe was found was a nightclub and rock and roll venue, which hosted the likes of The Doors and Jimi Hendrix, called Steve Paul's The Scene from 1964 to 1969 - potentially closing around the time of the murder.
This Detective talks like a Skyrim NPC.
😥
Just the facts ma'am
Rip
I’m so confused can someone please explain this to me ?!?!
The murdered girl is related to a victim of 9/11 The murdered girl has also been named, I'm just not watching this all the way through since this hit the news last week.
Yes 2 victims. Trying to find her daughter in 9/11, made her find a relative that was also made a victim in the 60’s. They found the old victim from using the DNA of her daughter.
@@sunnydelight5255 okay thank you !!🙏 I👍❤️❤️👍👍👍

If the cops had done their job at the time, they should have looked at who were the owners/renters of the building where she was found, going back several decades, and looked to see who had wives or girlfriends that could no longer be located, or if any of them were connected to women who couldn't be located who matched the features of the remains.
That cop looked more scared than the one's during the LA riots..😮

Horrible
People shouldnt go missing like this - & never be known👺
Wonder if it was a worker who helped build the building?
Wow! I remember hearing about this on Americas most wanted
Did the mother consent to the use of her DNA in this way? Is it just a free for all if you have to ID a family member?
DNA can be from a relative or family member, doesn’t have to be the immediate family.
@@lesliepropheter5040 I know, but they said they used the DNA provided for another reason.
Once you sign the papers and give up DNA that is it! All of these "discover your family tree" DNA companies are doing nothing more than collecting your genes for one gigantic database to be used for all kinds of things in the future. At least one of those companies is a disguise for the federal government.
I did not have a chance to look through all the comments, and I know there’s other RUclips videos on her as well. I hope I can find somebody that left a comment on her that knew her from her old neighborhood which I think was Sunset Park Brooklyn. I wonder if there’s any other records on her I know 72nd precinct covers Sunset Park but in the past the 68 PCT also used to cover Sunset Park as well. As far as where she went missing if that was at the above address of Manhattan would’ve been the 18 PCT, which was renamed Midtown PCT North maybe they have records…
55 year later today 2024
Robbed of life terrible
So what about the person who did this to Patti. She was known as Patti when she disappeared. If anyone believes in the paranormal theory it might be an option for doing a session where she was found If her hands were bound it’s likely she was gagged also and buried her alive. I’m not a forensic expert but having served as a juror on a case involving assault and murder on a teenage girl and though she was found in the trunk of a car, she was bound the same way. I was 9 when Patti disappeared and some had thought it was a son of Sam type case.
Husband was "connected" to the building...are they referring to the owner back in 69 who has passed or someone else? It's hard to have true justice for a dead person at least here on Earth, but maybe the husband was a different type of connection such as a construction worker. More questions than answers after watching this interview. Nor did they explain the DNA connection very well.
I think they already know who did it but for legal reasons cannot release his name yet. If I heard the detective correctly her husband was connected to the building she was found in or was she connected to the building?
The husband was connected to the building
God bless law enforcement
Tell me that’s not a robot
Perhaps the construction workers set the young lady's soul free and now she's with her deceased family members. Either way, may she rest in peace.
Sometimes Dante’s inferno administers justice.
Maybe there is hope for an unidentified woman in Alaska. Deceased serial killer Robert Hanson killed a woman many years ago near Anchorage. Her body was recovered, but was badly decomposed. A sketch of what she might look like has never led to her identity. Someone had to know her, she was someones daughter, sister, mother.
I bet the killer was collecting checks/benefits all these years and no one was the wiser .
Almighty God will mete out justice on Judgement Day..
I can feel a Hollywood movie comin' on. ( facepalms )
Does he not know how to answer the questions? He did not answer half the questions

You definitely don't want to see him suddenly appear in the middle of the night.
No that is all of you... you are the ones analizing him. He is minding his own buisness. . .
Thats so rude If you really look at him and have some empathy, you see that he is very nervous to be on camera. He is trying to not shake and that is what makes him appear stiff. Parents of the teen gotta be looked at too
Why? She'd run off to marry some older guy three years earlier. They didn't even know she was missing. And they're both dead now anyway.
It was more than likely her husband, who's also probably dead now, too.
Is the detective AI? Or furious?
Well, at least one family can be happy about GW Bush's inside job on 9/11. At least that family got justice.
Bush was not smart enough and I doubt he even knew about it. The old man Bush and Cheney are the two guys that put it all together.
@@hubriswonk I agree with your argument with one exception, young Bush wasn't a brilliant man, I believe he knew about it because there is no other way he would be under the cover of small children in a school "reading books to them", and because there is video with a hot mic showing somebody approach him in the classroom and making the statement "it's done" to which he replies "okay".
