Hi Nick, This time at the beginning it looked like problems that I often have. But with your experience you managed it perfectly again. you're a really good problem solver. I needed you here, then I would be finished quicker 😂. Nice result in any case. Greetings Mark
Hi Nick, It was a big challenge and very tricky to get the perfect match, but as usual, you manage the demanding issues very well💪🏻👍🏻. Well done mate👍🏻.Greetings Hubertus. 🙏🏻🇳🇴🇳🇱🍀☮🇦🇺
Great video, love seeing the process of think cut stand back and think some more. Really shows the true process of your creativeness. Really enjoyed this one
G'day, Mr Nick, I think from years of surfboard, making your metal skills are awesome. I've had 35 years as a Cabinet Maker/Furniture maker, so I'm hoping my metal skills will be good as well. I've just got to stop procrastinating and buy a welder 😂. So, thanks for sharing the update man ✌️ Peace from Melbourne/Pakenham.
Great work Nick! I was waiting for this video since I replaced my roof on my double cab and had to patch in one little area on the back corner on the donor. I had similar issues, and you are bringing back all the memories of that fiasco. Love how the two shapes married up together and your methodical approach. Also glad you tig welded it, makes it so much softer to hammer and dolly! I need to make a trip to come see you some day, I want to see these buses in person!
Nice work! You were rightly very pleased with your handiwork. It would have been easier if you used the whole BBT roof and extended the gutters forward to match. 😁
If anyone wants a crash course on fitting roof skins, might I suggest going over to Bello's Kustoms youtube channel. He essentially overlaps panels, zips them together with self-tappers and cuts the overlaping parts with a mini-reciprocating saw to create a tight butt joint that he TIG welds. Mike Bello is a metal working maestro.
Hello, "Demop VW Garage" I saw your channel and saw that in your channel you have some awsomeness and Stoke, not many but just enough. For these awsome things your channel is growing well. If you add some radness, Your channel will grow like a storm. Do you want to know these rad ideas? If you Want to know, I can only tell to you. Can I tell here or email? I tell you here, I know the colour for that 57 oval in the back ground, now finishing that would be total radness

Trying to mash together two suspect replacement panels is definitely a challenge. Looks like it came out great though.
Thanks Stan, happy with how I turned out. I looked at it from so many angles before finishing it.
