Just wanted to say to all the truckers on here, thank you for what you do; you are truly the backbone of our societies and I cannot thank you enough for the long hours, overnight trips, and being away from your families, just so I can go to the store and buy a few apples. - Much love
I want to thank VOLVO for there innovative thinking and listening to the truck driver that is driving your product. I have driven many different types of trucks and VOLVO came out on top every time. I WILL OWN ONE SOME DAY!!! THANK YOU
Greeting from Pakistan. Very informative video overall n the way presenter introduced each n every detail was very impressive. I believe he is person with kind heart. A nice personality.
Visibility in the game can only be a good thing. Also, American Truck Simulator has had the same manufacturers from the start. By being the first to be licensed in a while, Volvo would get attention and be celebrated for adding variety. If others are first, Volvo would be just one out of many, and one that came late to the party at that.
I'm so so so impressed with these VNL Semi's. It makes me want to buy one right now! So beautiful wow! Volvo I appluad you guys, you've really built a great one!
Don'tGetMeWrong ETS2 has had a lot longer time in Development also. ATS will get there someday. I play ETS using Promods map. With out it I would have got board a long time ago.
Jason Spence (Volvo)Love the new lines of the 760/740 Volvo. Are the exterior and interior changes going to be available on the 780 and 730? If so, how soon? Is the adjustable bunk feature available for the upper bunk? Keep up the good work and videos. Thanks, Rich
I understand that the 760 has a larger fridge mounted on the passenger side. It would be nice to have a more complete 'tour' of the cabinets/refrigerator and seating options. One thing I've been wondering since the launch news broke yesterday is: will there be a new model comparable to the 'old' 780, or does the 760 replace both 670/780 with a compromise? One thing that is still missing is rear wheel covers that blend in with the body work. I have to say I'm really disappointed that has not been resolved yet. Every 670/730/780 I've operated in an application always ends up with the rear sleeper panel being dirty (due to the need to set the 5th wheel so far back to address the heavy front end).
I see a lot of inspiration from the European trucks. To me that is a good thing because those are actually good and good looking. I was't much of a VNL van but the new truck, i like it a lot.
Very nice truck, but I think that the 16,1 liter European D16 sould be an option as well, because they have very good fuel efficiency, and some models even have over 700hp and 2200lb-ft of torque.
The only major brand truck I have never driven. I know they get lots of love for the amount of living space they provide. I can't comment on their dependability, but all the big names seem to have their own problems.
@volvotrucksusa can't wait to get mine in the spring... 860, d13TC, i shift, adaptive loading... looking to break 10mpg. hopefully my stepdad gets to work on my truck at the NRV plant.
Beautiful Tractor !,I am certainly a Volvo Truck Fan. Concerned though that truck manufacturers have a misguided perception of multi function controls on the steering wheel. Like many of the wonderful Volvo Designs, the intention is to persuade the Driver to keep the eyes forward. But the steering wheel controls in my opinion are too close and require more thought. From my thirty five years of trucking experience forethought is a very important skill a Driver can bestow. Thank you Volvo for the input of mind into the tractors design. Now design audio Driving education that guides driving conduct from inexperienced into confident and responsible Driving Skills.
only good thing I have to say bout a Volvo is the sleeper configuration,y'all hands stay safe while truckin it up in these imatation trks for these new imatation hands...whoop whoop
I really like to see more European features on this VNL. Like the new dash, New I'shift knobs, The windows curtains,The European seats more comfortable.
Jason Moyle I assume that you are from Europe that's why you are defending the Volvo brand. I don't think they sell a bad product overall but they thought they could bring their engines and drivetrain to the states and they would get the same results. Maybe they forgot the driving style and conditions are much different than those in Europe. Not sure why they are dropping valves and injectors maybe it's a material defect or maybe it's related to the high regeneration Temps. Hopefully these problems have been addressed.
Overall it doesn't seem bad esp. like the new instrument panel, steering wheel neck tilt, the 'heated' headlights (if it still works when it's really cold like minus 38 Celsius) and that the sleeper is at least slightly bigger as the current 670 (still ways from the T680 though) but as someone else mentioned the fridge is too small. The cooler under the passenger seat? The idea is good but not really practical because when you drive you can't access it unless you bend down which is unsafe and you can't stop every time you want something cold to drink esp. now in the summer. Also, it seems to me that an 'old' issue still persists; the hood mirrors become useless in rain/ bad weather as they disappear behind the area that the wipers don't clean. Another great invention would be if the side mirrors could be cleaned while driving, esp. the passenger side one. I can’t really tell from the videos but it looks like you lose the side to side storage when having the seating area option. I know there are the holders at the back of the cab for load bars, broom etc. but I personally don’t like them because everything is getting dirty, wet and rusty.
I got single question here. Is there any manual transitions available in the new Volvo's or should be bored to drive I-shift forever ??? We need something for the professional drivers out there not only for the wheel holders please !!!
I like this truck looks very nice, I we'll love to get me one with Cummins X-15, Allison TC-10, Meritor 14X-HE and Bendix Disc Breaks , we'll be the best settings for my taste ;-)
I'm not gonna lie I love the look and features but keep wondering how are they gonna hold up on the road, am I gonna keep passing them on the side of the road with their hoods open. I love my old international we just keep passing them volvos on the sode
thank you for making this video I am a year away from getting back on the road, now if i supply the carrier and the dispatch driver support, I mean we have it all trailers too, well I am the driver as an IC so could I come to you directly and have it made my way? Its a GREAT company after getting burnned once by a company i had to step back and do some research this place I drive for as IC is solid no BS. Look us up Coastal Carriers out of Troy Missouri. Hope you answer my question because I got plans for a truck like that.
Nice truck. the only american truck i like because the european influence.Do you have there also the option too get a independence front axle like we can order for the FH in europe ? and dynamic steering is that also availeble for the new VNL ?
When will be available with a Scania V8 engine? And where are the Volvo FH16 are. Every new warehouse I am gong having less and less room to back in to the loading dock.
true but regulations makes Euro brands only make cab overs due to the majority are volume trailers:P But I do consider getting into asphalt during summer with a Yankee-truck:)
If Volvo and Freightliner did not support automated truck I would like both of them ... but their objective is clear and they are behind driverless trucks , I would NEVER support a organisation or a company who pushes for driverless trucks .
probably not the Ishift at least unless something is changed is only compatible with Volvo engines, cummins has to be paired with an Allison..... as a tech for Volvo for 4 years almost 98% of us absolutely HATED seeing a cummins in a volvo....it makes it a troubleshooting nightmare - one ECM for the Volvo side and then a Cummins ECM - 2 different software for trouble codes as opposed to one ECM and one Software program to tshoot fault codes
Marcus Wallin US market is focused on fuel economy and the D16 has not been accepted in this market. 93% of all Volvo trucks are built with D13 which is made in USA. The D16 is made in Europe which adds even more cost to an already expensive truck. Besides it is NOT needed. When I started selling class 8 trucks in 1989 a 350hp Cummins with 1250 torque did the job in all 48 states. Now the D13 had 500hp with 1850 torque...who needs more??? There is no need to race up the hills.
Jake D that's when you buy a Cummnis 625. Volvo has not been accepted in the US heavy haul market so they obviously decided to cut their losses and discontinued the D16.
Volvo makes nice and comfortable trucks, but the biggest problem is service. I have a 2017 Volvo VNL780 and i brought it to Volvo dealer second time to fix a radio or put a new one and they can't fix it. It's five days now at dealership and they still can't find the problem. One week lost, no money made but still need to make payments for new truck and insurance...
This trucker wants to see features and specs like fancy gadgets in the cab. I want to see the engine and be told the specs, alternator ratings, axles, suspension details, weights, sound proofing, etc. What are the specs on the fridge, inverter, generator, mattress, what are the maximum amount and capacity of battery can I put on it and how long do they last under load before the generator has to kick in. How quiet is the generator you know things like that. Details details details please.
show us suspension, more details on ingene. looks like its comon reil now. what horspower ratings you will have to chose from, how heavy 760 compared to 670 or 780. is there air ride front exle? Do owner operator oriented video not modern company driver video
both. Once the fragile balance between the air system and those flimsy springs is gone, the thing shakes itself to pieces and nobody, in any volvo dealership knows how to fix it.

Aaron .Nunez Comment of the week! 👌
+Ralph Mayer More like comment of the month
Aaron .Nunez This truck driver wants a Tesla Semi
Zac Reddix and you shall have it!!!!!
Marco Diaz hahahaha good one
Volvo, allows the license for your new Volvo VlN 780 appears in the game American Truck Simulator. Please, we want to see this truck in the game. 🙌🙌
It's coming next week or the week after that! good news! It's the old one, but it's better than nothing!
We'd sure like to see this beautiful truck (and other Volvo's) in American Truck Simulator!
It's coming next week or the week after that! good news! It's the old one, but it's better than nothing!
Why you cant just put the European Dashboard there? The dash and infotainment still look 10 years older than the European version.
I want to thank VOLVO for there innovative thinking and listening to the truck driver that is driving your product. I have driven many different types of trucks and VOLVO came out on top every time.
I WILL OWN ONE SOME DAY!!!
THANK YOU
You updated the wheel, but still hanging on the old dashboard that is 15 years.
Hope we will see this beautiful truck in American Truck Simulator!
Greeting from Pakistan. Very informative video overall n the way presenter introduced each n every detail was very impressive. I believe he is person with kind heart. A nice personality.
if a truck like this one could be in Brazil...
very beautiful front, great truck, congrats Volvo's Team
Hey that cooler drawer is great. You don’t have to get out of your seat to get a drink.
+VolvoTrucksUSA +SCSSoftware So when can we expect to see this truck in the game "American Truck Simulator"?
Visibility in the game can only be a good thing. Also, American Truck Simulator has had the same manufacturers from the start. By being the first to be licensed in a while, Volvo would get attention and be celebrated for adding variety. If others are first, Volvo would be just one out of many, and one that came late to the party at that.
Fabulous creation with ever key on point. Be so amazing to bring my father to see this person make his birthday awesome this July
This truck is better than my apartment
beautiful truck, when will we see it in action in American truck simulator?
I'm so so so impressed with these VNL Semi's. It makes me want to buy one right now! So beautiful wow! Volvo I appluad you guys, you've really built a great one!
How about you get this Truck into American Truck Simulator so we all can drive it!!!!!!!!!
Seconded!
Thirded!!!
Would love too
Yeah. But the design will limit the usage on european roads. But I wouldn't mind it getting it for both games
Don'tGetMeWrong ETS2 has had a lot longer time in Development also. ATS will get there someday. I play ETS using Promods map. With out it I would have got board a long time ago.
That back room is better than my room.
Where is the the Heads Up Display HUD and Night Vision assist? and how about Large screen dash like Tesla???
I understand that the 760 has a larger fridge mounted on the passenger side. It would be nice to have a more complete 'tour' of the cabinets/refrigerator and seating options. if you go to their site, there's an 860 now as well as the 760, 860 is probably the upgrade to the 780
Yes the 860 has replaced the 780 effective immediately.
Toss this into American Truck Simulator PLEASE!
John Chuk mods my friend... And definitely give a try to JRL Scania
It's coming next week or the week after that! good news! It's the old one, but it's better than nothing!
I see a lot of inspiration from the European trucks. To me that is a good thing because those are actually good and good looking. I was't much of a VNL van but the new truck, i like it a lot.
this is what a truck should be made, very nice!
Very nice truck, but I think that the 16,1 liter European D16 sould be an option as well, because they have very good fuel efficiency, and some models even have over 700hp and 2200lb-ft of torque.
Beautiful truck love it! I wish I can drive one soon
please allow this to be American Truck Simulator!
It's coming next week or the week after that! good news! It's the old one, but it's better than nothing!
excellent job I like what I see so far let's see how it holds up in the real world.
The only major brand truck I have never driven. I know they get lots of love for the amount of living space they provide. I can't comment on their dependability, but all the big names seem to have their own problems.
This is a very nice Volvo VNL. This is on my wish list :).
best and most comfortable truck on the road
@volvotrucksusa can't wait to get mine in the spring...
860, d13TC, i shift, adaptive loading... looking to break 10mpg.
hopefully my stepdad gets to work on my truck at the NRV plant.
Very nice. We can't wait to see it, please share when you receive it.
VolvoTrucksUSA
Can you help with some info?
with the Adaptive Loading option, is the axle interlock still functional? Or is it a dead axle?
i know you will get it one day. Remember baby steps
We need this Truck in American Truck Simulator. Please Volvo!!!!!
i like it but in south africa we only drive cab over volvo's, but i enjoy seeing the peterbilts, kenworths and freightliners on the roads

Consider wearing a bluetooth microphone to improve hearing and listening dynamics so that you could also filter OUT ambient noise
+VolvoTrucksUSA +SCSSoftware Guys, can we get this truck in American Truck Simulator? It looks like it'd be a blast to drive!
only good thing I have to say bout a Volvo is the sleeper configuration,y'all hands stay safe while truckin it up in these imatation trks for these new imatation hands...whoop whoop
Waiting for 1st Gear to put out the 1/50 scale alongside the VNR day cab
I really like to see more European features on this VNL.
Like the new dash, New I'shift knobs, The windows curtains,The European seats more comfortable.
Reading the comments, many are concerned about the truck being in American truck simulator more than how reliable and efficient it actually is
...you can sit and watch TV while your truck repairing at the shop
Lmao!!
what is that supposed to mean artur? volvo is a lot more reliable than your yank trucks.
Maybe you can explain why Volvo D13's break valves at around 250k miles. We have a fleet of twenty and this seems to happen pretty regularly.
Yeah bs
Jason Moyle I assume that you are from Europe that's why you are defending the Volvo brand. I don't think they sell a bad product overall but they thought they could bring their engines and drivetrain to the states and they would get the same results. Are those rain sensing wiper sensors on the top and bottom of the windshield?
Just needs the (European) I-Shift Double clutch gearbox fitted. :) :)What sort of power does the new VNL have??
Legin Ffoeg 500 at much...
Do you have this in euro 6 engine, for European market. If you do I am very interested one of those. Beautiful and smart truck
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!
VOLVO,WILL YOU MARRY ME?
I like this truck looks very nice, I we'll love to get me one with Cummins X-15, Allison TC-10, Meritor 14X-HE and Bendix Disc Breaks , we'll be the best settings for my taste ;-)

thank you for making this video I am a year away from getting back on the road, now if i supply the carrier and the dispatch driver support, I mean we have it all trailers too, well I am the driver as an IC so could I come to you directly and have it made my way? This guy makes me wanna be a truck driver...
👍 excelentes modificaciones saludos
Love Volvo!!
Wow that's beautiful
When will be available with a Scania V8 engine? And where are the Volvo FH16 are. Every new warehouse I am gong having less and less room to back in to the loading dock.
show us the 860
I have a question because here in the United States the Volvo FH16 6x4 is not sold
I wish EU could change the regulations so we don't have to use cab over trucks.
You don't need to use cabover it if you have a shorter trailer for example a cement silo or a tankcontainer chassie :)
true but regulations makes Euro brands only make cab overs due to the majority are volume trailers:P But I do consider getting into asphalt during summer with a Yankee-truck:)
Ok, I am American and think that plastic junk you call a truck looks stupid. We're even.
you look stupid ...asswipe
Future trucks should have shower and toilet standard as well. I know big truck stations might be fighting this idea.
Beautiful!
I've always preferred the Peterbilt 379/389 but I'll admit, this is a badass new truck.
All I could keep saying is wow
amazing Truck......
I am not a TROLL! Just a source of ideas for continuous improvement.
If Volvo and Freightliner did not support automated truck I would like both of them ... but their objective is clear and they are behind driverless trucks , I would NEVER support a organisation or a company who pushes for driverless trucks .
Have you through about the Bose seats
Good thinking. Good job Volvo
amazing
Volvo rocks
Can the globetrotter be equipped with a x15 Cummins paired with the ishift transmission?
probably not the Ishift at least unless something is changed is only compatible with Volvo engines, cummins has to be paired with an Allison..... as a tech for Volvo for 4 years almost 98% of us absolutely HATED seeing a cummins in a volvo....it makes it a troubleshooting nightmare - one ECM for the Volvo side and then a Cummins ECM - 2 different software for trouble codes as opposed to one ECM and one Software program to tshoot fault codes
William - No, you can only select Volvo powertrains with the globetrotter package.
so when does the 16L come out?
Marcus Wallin D16 is dead. It doesn't work for the US market.
Francis X. Maloney why? i'm not an us native so don't have so much clue about american truck market
Marcus Wallin US market is focused on fuel economy and the D16 has not been accepted in this market. 93% of all Volvo trucks are built with D13 which is made in USA. Jake D that's when you buy a Cummnis 625. Volvo has not been accepted in the US heavy haul market so they obviously decided to cut their losses and discontinued the D16.
Hi Volvo what is colour of this truck .colour code be very handy.
when will it be for sale?
Why u guys didn't add the same day light to fog lights lol
my dream one :(
Good t-shirt
You know what would be good marketing for your brand, putting it in American Truck Simulator What's the hold up?
Finrod_TurAnion SCS works on the Scania S too
What about Head up display?
Do you have paper info broshore on this truck
At 7:10, I still have to climb into the cab?! Not sure what the narrator's comment was meant to imply
Volvo is the best.
Thanks, Aryok. We appreciate it.
Volvo makes nice and comfortable trucks, but the biggest problem is service. I have a 2017 Volvo VNL780 and i brought it to Volvo dealer second time to fix a radio or put a new one and they can't fix it. It's five days now at dealership and they still can't find the problem.

Hmm, will ever get the US models the "new" european dashboard? :D
This trucker wants to see features and specs like fancy gadgets in the cab. How quiet is the generator you know things like that. Details details details please.
Love it love it!!!!
DOES IT HAVE A BIGGER FRIGDE THAN OLDER VOLVOS?
Yes, Adem. Learn more here: www.volvotrucks.us/trucks/vnl/top-ten/living/
show us suspension, more details on ingene. looks like its comon reil now. what horspower ratings you will have to chose from, how heavy 760 compared to 670 or 780. is there air ride front exle? Do owner operator oriented video not modern company driver video
siroja sirojenko air ride front axle? Ooh boy!
Yes, air ride in front axle, like in the rear replace spring leaf with air bags
Nobody in his right mind would get a volvo with front air ride. Trust me on that. I have the bills to prove it.
Jawzzy maintainance or chiropractor?
both. Once the fragile balance between the air system and those flimsy springs is gone, the thing shakes itself to pieces and nobody, in any volvo dealership knows how to fix it.
I want a video about the 860...
good info
I am 196cm in height, can I lay flat on that bed without being folded?
Volvo is light years ahead of Peterbilt and their 70's square body design.
Super Track
Price?
Microwave oven in the truck.....?
A lot of nice stuff in this tractor it almost makes me want to go back OTR,,,not LOL.
Patty jay Was thinking the same thing, but would love to have a day cab version to replace my VT800 some day
