The All-New Volvo VNL will be produced at NRV starting mid-2024, and current models in production include the VNR series highway tractors, the VNR Electric, and VHD Trucks.
Over 200 robots are used in the cab and paint facilities. Our wet-on-wet paint systems are the first in the heavy truck industry, providing a premier paint finish.

Seeing all that machines and thinking how many people are hungry and no jobs.. so sad to see its just because not to pay money..
Someone had to build the machine,s no sick day,s no work comp claims no over time and most of all they show up for work on time a lot of Am worker,s took advantage of the employment offered to them !

I was hoping to see the newer model being built not the older model I already drive a 2024 older model Volvo and believe me I found bolts and loose panels in my truck as I'm watching all those people putting hands on those trucks I was wondering who was the idiot that left loose bolts in my truck who left their fingerprints all over the ceiling😂

$200,000 for a new truck is a lot of money but I guess that the workers I mean robots would strike if their pay wasn't high enough. Kinda makes me feel sick thinking about how 10 years ago that place was probably full of actual people working but they replaced them robots but the price still goes up even though they don't all the overhead from actual people.

To bad you don’t build the trucks with better quality I so far hate the ishift transmission it’s noisy at shifting and sometimes doesn’t even work when I’m going down the road
Excellent video. Don't know why, but at 31:53, the driver changed lanes, and the headlight flashed, indicating the lane change was intended, as a regular turn signal would. Just thought that was a safety feature that should've been avail decades ago.
I'm retreaded now, but if I was able to get back On the Road Again, there's No Doubt In My Former (Well, Still!) Military Mind, that I would be in a Volvo!

У Вольво нет денег, на спец одежду для персонала.
Впервые вижу завод, на котором рабочие одеты кто во что горазд и нет ни какой специальной одежды с логотипом марки. Такое ощущение, что это не завод, а гараж.
Uniforms are not required in an American auto plant. The UAW, (United Auto Workers Union), prohibit such rules in negotiated contracts.
Спецодежду для сьёмок обычно выдают, но это СГА, по этому даже на показуху денег нет.

You will be fed by drones from the window, like pigeons.
Forget streets, those will be trasformed onto automated plantations. Trucks? It will all be drones. Much more effective.
AI is coming, too late to stop it. Want the Mars exit? The winners DNA will be shipped there, and we will be given a return to Mars to reterraform it. But as pets. We are no longer the most intelligent species.
Automation is just a taste of it. I won;t be here to see it, and my DNA will not be shortlisted anyway. Sibblings may feel it, but my females hatch on the beach every year and do not look back so we turtles do't care much about it anyway. But you humans, soory it will all backfire. Enjoy the gourgeous landscape of the factory. Seriously.
