    *Solid, **Fastly.Cool** and gets the job done. For rooms where window-mounted air conditioning is not an option, this works very well. Easy set up, rapid cooling, and great design.*

      Is the water drain hose necessary or only for humidifier?

    The vent hose popped out so easily for this person. I’m wrestling to get it to pop out. I thought carrying upstairs by myself was the hard part.

    I am interested in using a through-wall hose installation. Do you sell the through wall vent? What diameter is the hose? Any tips are appreciated.

      Can I put a protector on it then?
      How many amps and watts are needed, can you please advise me to go to the store and buy it.
      I just purchased the product 2 days ago.

      Hey! You definitely can, if you would like. The voltage for this unit is 115 V, or 1,300 W. You can find a protector that best fits your needs with a quick search online! We hope this helps. ~TammyJo

    Great video and quick question - I'm in a garage with no windows.. only an exterior door that needs to be replaced anyway. I'm thinking of popping a 6" hole or something to vent this hose out of through the door but not sure what to use for a bulkhead in the door to attach or disconnect , wondering if you have any thoughts~ thanks in advance!

    unfortunately, this product are not available in Singapore. Not sure why LG Singapore didn't think of mass demand in 2 room HDB BTO units where this portable air conditioner with thinQ works best in smart home with google home mini or other LG TV with google assistant

    LG - Can you provide a little more information on the variable speed compressor? What BTU range is it capable of? What are the power consumption numbers? Your specification sheet says 1,370 wH but that isn't true with a variable speed compressor - it cycles.

    • @Conundrum191
      @Conundrum191 4 года назад +2

      Mine was stubborn as hell. I finally got it in after prying the plastic "clamps" on the end of the hose a bit since there was not enough clearance between them and the mount.
      Also now that is is attached to the mount, I can't get it out again, so when I am not using it I just lay the whole assembly on top of the AC unit. LG really needs to check their tolerances between parts a bit better. Other than that though the unit has been fine.

      I bought this air conditioner because of the review on wirecutter.com. I am having the same problem. I am really frustrated. Bought this really expensive air conditioner and can't use it. Because of the pandemic, there is no one who can help me. I finally got a text, told them exactly my problem, and they WANTED ME TO TAKE A PICTURE OR VIDEO OF THE PROBLEM!!! If they don't get back to me with a solution soon, I will give them a really BAD review!!!!

      @@Conundrum191 It's the end of summer I'm wanting to uninstall this thing and I'm having the same issue. I did have issue when installing it in the first place but I kept forcing it until it snapped into place but now I don't know how to remove the hose from the window panel - it isn't as easy as turning it the other way because of those "clamps" on the other side of the window panel.
