I tried watching so many videos and attempting what they were teaching but it was not working. I came across this video right when I was about to give up and I love it. I love the video. Excellent job. Thank you!
I was thrilled to see it. Got to make 3 blankets for my 2 grandsons and their mom. Great timing and great stitch and tutorial. Thank you for your hard work giving so many creative ideas.
I've made 4 blankets using just bernat blanket yarn with a double crochet, then a few rounds of single crochet for the border. I don't have to think or count while I make them and the yarn in insanely soft so I love making them!
That’s wonderful! And same with this stitch, so easy you can do it with your eyes closed. The Bernatt yarn is so soft and nice to work with. Hope you make many more blankets! Thank you for watching and commenting.
This is a great stich. It's easy yet has nice definition. Thank you. I will have to go to your etsy shop. I have been using multiple strands of yarn for #3 weight. I really like the colorways but my elderly hands can't do the fine weights easily. So multiple strands of yarn make it easier.
That’s wonderful! I’m hoping to make up some more items using the multiple stands held together. I have way too much yarn that I need used up and I love to make useful items. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Thank you very much for this tutorial. This stitch looks very easy and I love easy cuz I'm lazy. I am going to get some yarn this weekend and give this a try I usually do four weight yarn, but I'll give a bulky weight I try. Thank you and happy New Year!
Just watched your video. Your explanation is so easy to follow. I’m not a perfect crotchet person but I can follow along. My problem is that how do I keep all the stitches the same size? Some of my stitches are bigger than others. TY
I’m really happy to hear it! Try going very slowly with your stitches. Be sure your yarn doesn’t get tight or loose. As you get more crochet in you will see they will be more the same size and then you can go faster. It’s called tension. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Thank you for the tutorial with simple stitch and steps to understand for beginners. Basically your videos are easy to understand and to do crochet. Can you share a simple lacy dress for 6 months baby girl with cotton yarn..pls
Hi Jonna, great to see you again! I love the stitch tutorial and all the wonderful tips you give here. I love HDC& the way it is used here is so pretty and closes up the holes very nicely. I also like the tips for triple stranding and stash busting with this stitch and a large hook. Very inspired! Happy new year, hope to see more of you in 2023 💖
Jonna I'm looking for the name of this stich as I intend to make and I keep a journal of all my crocheting. thank you! It's a great stich and easy with not stress...
Hi,Jonna, glad to hear from ya, been awhile. I enjoy your projects, and your method of teaching appeals to me. I like this blanket stitch pattern. Gonna have to make that heart doily for next month. (Gotta new girlfriend). Lol 😆. GOD BLESS.
For a bare bones beginner this was great. Just wanting to make a nice thick baby blanket. This will work great. Subscribing to your channel and checking out your store. Thanks. Brenda
Right?! Ridiculous. But you can use this stitch for ANY yarn you like. That’s why I also included the clip at the end of me using yarns held together. You can make this. Blanket with scrap yarn if you wanted. Or make a rug or table runner with it. Very versatile stitch! Thank you for watching and commenting!
That’s because I was in the middle of finishing mine. As you can see me crocheting it at the end of the video. You can find the pattern and more photos here: www.etsy.com/listing/1405714423/
Instructions are simple, clear and easy to understand for a beginner like me. Thank you!
I used this crochet stitch to made a blanket for a sister in Christ 2 years ago for Christmas. She loves it. And use it at church all the time.

Seems a lot less “holy” than most other Bernat Blanket yarn tutorials. Thank you so much!! Have the yarn to make a blanket already on hand.
Yes! I agree! Thank you for watching and commenting.

I could not find how many skein it takes.
I’m not down with my blanket but looking like 50x60” blanket will take 7 total skeins in one color. Thank you for watching!
How many skeins did u use
I’m not done yet with my blanket, but estimating 6-7 skeins for a 50x60 blanket. I’ll post to my website when I get done. Thank you for watching!
@@JonnaMartinezCrochet oh ok cool
Thanks was just wondering will be looking forward to how many skeins
Definitely!
Click bait. I expected to see a finished project. It said "this blanket". Never did see a fast and easy blanket.
That’s because I was in the middle of finishing mine. As you can see me crocheting it at the end of the video. You can find the pattern and more photos here: www.etsy.com/listing/1405714423/
