you guys are so sweet! lana does write all her music and she says it is 100% autobiographical. she is known for writing songs about the harder parts of life, like her past alcoholism, drug abuse, family issues, and domestic violence, but it's all such pretty music that you forget how sad it is. i highly recommend songs like young and beautiful, video games, the greatest, candy necklace, or chemtrails over the country club! i showed lana to my grandpa and he says those are his favorites haha

For turning you onto the only artist I would travel five hours to see her show in Pittsburgh October 3rd and experienced only what I can describe as a religious experience through her artistry. Lana is so much more than just another singer. She's a poet first. A singer/ songwriter second. She's truly one of a kind. She puts everything into her work. It's always beautiful. Always melts you with her voice. She doesn't have to show her body to get views, she's just always been someone everybody's drawn to because of what she's able to transmit through her music. So so good ! If you would like something live from some of her shows before going into her entire discography, which i highly highly recommend, I'd say react to some of her performances from her 2012 appearance at Amoeba in Hollywood. And the 2015 live performance of Shades of Cool from one of her concerts I forget which one. It's posted by butterfly V. It's truly one of her best lives ever. And then two other lives I highly highly recommend are from her Texas show in 2018 of "Love" and "When the World Was at War We Kept Dancing" they're SOOOO SO GOOD you're going to love them I'm sure of it !!

@grandparentsreact I'm sure this list is getting pretty long, and Lana will be littered throughout ! Her albums are pretty heavy as a whole and it is draining once you start her journey but I assure you she's very much so worth your time !! Just don't drain yourselves out on her music by doing too much too quickly 🙃😪😅 it's emotionally exhausting so take your time ! But those lives of hers are sooo beautiful !!! And they're a nice representation of her from when she first stepped out onto the Hollywood scene up until the more recent just to give you a nice example of her progression and maturity .. it's absolutely lovely !! I would put giant astericks next to her lives 😁😅

Listening in from Dallas TX. 🤠 Lana writes most, if not all, of her music. Her style is very unique where she sounds like one of the crooners from the 50’s but with a modern twist. She loves to throw in some jazz structure to her vocals and it’s just absolutely beautiful.

I don't really like What Angelina Jordan has become. She moved to LA about two years ago and I reckon that city is toxic for the soul. She needs to get away from there.
