  • This was definitely a journey arranging with all of those lever changes, but it makes it that much more rewarding to play! Can you count how many lever changes there were? Just kidding. I really enjoy the elegant, gentle nature of this piece. I hope you do too!

Lever changes are in my future, but That. Is. A. Lot. Of. Them! You do them so rhythmically! I will keep that in mind…thank you, Carrie!

Wow! Im so envious of your calm lever changes, never missing a beat. I'd be in a panic long since!

What isn't shown here is all the practice that went into those lever changes! 😆♥ But what helps me is to always assign lever changes to a specific beat in each measure, that way I can keep them really consistent each time I play through it! Basically choreographing them into the piece, and thinking of them like another note to "play". It's something I talk about a lot in the video course for this piece ♥ -Carrie

@@LearningtheHarp Thank you for that information Carrie, that's a really interesting thought....choreographing it and treating the lever like another note. 👍❤

That was really lovely, look forward to learning this at some point. I might have to build myself up to that many lever changes, maybe ill pick something with a few in first then work my way toward this one. Thanks again for another wonderful piece.

That's a great idea! The early-intermediate version of this might be a good starting point if you'd like something with less lever changes😃

Yikes! All those levers changes! Good job, but I think I will skip this more advanced version. Maybe the easier version. 😅

Umm, well, I think I'll skip this song for now. Even the easier one looks like a challenge. But definitely one where the course would be very helpful. Pretty.

Hey@@shannonsharpstory! Yes, learning along with the course is definitely recommended! I think you'd find that the early-intermediate level is easier to play than it may seem on paper 🤗
