@@isiah401ableLG C Series TVs are great for games. I have the c2 it's got 120hz on all hdmi ports. It's also got Dolby vision as well. The only thing I'd say is that the peak brightness is not the best but it's hands down the best TV I've ever owned
Just upgraded my 77 CX that I purchased back in November of 2020 to a 77 G4 and I'm completely shocked how much brighter these new OLED panels can get. The CX I had was still in perfect condition and even after 4 years, it showed absolutely no signs on burn in anywhere on the panel, but since I wanted to treat myself this year, I ended up buying the G4 and a PS5 Pro and I felt like a kid on Christmas when both were delivered on the same day, but I did have to wait a couple of days for a buddy of mine to stop by and help me with setting up the tv on the stand that I unfortunately had to buy separately. The CX was my first OLED since I was always worried about burn in but after having the CX for four years, those fears are no longer there and I'll never go back to a LED panel again. I'm now rewatching a lot of movies and playing the PS5 which makes me feel like a kid, even though I'll be turning 53 very shortly.
Any tv you can afford and enjoy playing games on is the right tv. I can’t say enough good things about my LG G4, but know how much of a blessing it is to have that tv.
Hey quick question if you don’t mind . I have the same tv but can’t get my ps5 pro to unlock allm and vrr in the ui on the PlayStation. But on my tv it’s on thru game optimizer UI. My question is do you have this problem and how do I get the PlayStation to unlock it .z my ps keeps saying tv doesn’t support
@ I will do some testing and report back. I haven’t spent enough time with the ps5 pro and tv pair to have a super informed answer. Mine also said that, but I believe it fixed itself.
@@mephisto1025 what I’m finding is that it is just showing not active when sitting on the Home Screen. As soon as I start a game or am in game with that feature being utilized it shows on.

Sony Bravia for motion smoothing and black frame insertion without losing brightness. For single player games, it closes the gap in frame performance even more between ps5 pro and top end pc
I’m still using my 77 C9 from then. Outside of brightness, I don’t see any value in upgrading it. It has VVR, 120hz, and HDMI 2.1. Unless I’m going bigger, I’m keeping it. I did get the 100 inch Hisense U76 for my family room though. My Series X is on the OLeD and PS5 on the Hisense

I've had the LG CX and the C1. Last year I bought the A95L and let me tell you, it's night and day! I bought myself another A95L about a week ago. No regrets. Best TV I've ever owned. The King of TV's!! QD Oled is the way to go! I don't have any lag when gaming compared to the C1 I felt a slight lag input. The A95L also the best tv to watch movies. I recommend it!
I use an 83 inch LG C3 in the living room and a 48 inch LG C4 as a PC monitor. OLED really is the best thing for now, maybe in a few years mini LED can get there, but not right now
The A90j is currently the tv I use my ps5 pro on. Super resolution has been a thing in the setting called reality creation. It delivers with the ps5 pro enhanced games. I absolutely love this TV

Buy a 83 inch g4 oled and a ps5 pro and your set for next 7 to 10 years. Tvs and consoles have hit there peak improvement are that minor and are all for marketing purposes know.. dont get sucked in to the bs and fomo.

But when I open game optimizer it’s high lighted to unlock . It’s a little tricky because if I have low latency on it tells me Allm can’t be used . What is Jon talking about? Sony removed the 8K badge off of the PS5 Pro for a reason. Its not being marketed as an 8K gaming console. I believe there is one game that vas announced its supporting 8K resolution.
I wouldn’t touch that tcl Q650/Q651 with its native 60hz panel... TCL Q750 from last year (that they kept through this year) or QM751 this years version that also includes mini led. These TVs are Amazing in that affordable price range 😊

Plan on getting a new OLED TV hopefully early next year. It will be my first. Traded in my XBSX which I hadn't played for two years and a few games so I'll have $380 to take off when I get the Pro. Even more since I'll trade in my base PS5 also. Right now it's looking like 77 C3 or C4 at the moment but the Samsung S90D is very close. Since I still buy a lot of physical 4k movies I do like also having Dolby Vision which the LGs have and the Samsung doesn't.
I have the Samsung S90D paired with PS5 Pro and I am very happy with it. I got it for over $1000 off MSRP at Best Buy. Highly recommend it! It’ll burn your retinas sooooo good
I went out and bought the Sony PS5 Pro, joy of opening it plugging it into my Sony Bravia 65 Inch. I shouldve realised an issue when the TV started making clicking sound. In my mind Sony and Sony totally compatible, Right? Considering the TV was a 2019 i thought i best put the pro in low graphics mode and performance on processing. Then the TV started turning off as i was in the middle of BF2042 i thought ohh and then it started turning off when i started watching TV i blamed the cat and my partner, after a week of this happening the Sony Bravia decided to say im not turning on again and the smell of its internals came to my nostrils i had to double check and called a friend and yep it had burnt out inside. I dont know if it was the PS5 Pro, Cat or Partner but if you have any of the 3 combined with a Sony TV be warned the smell of burning internal sony tv will be present in your room.
The TV I'm playing my PS5 pro on is the Samsung s90 c55-in and boy is it incredible it definitely you could see the difference from PS5 slim to the PS5 pro 100% on every game incredible I am so happy with my purchase
It has always been expensive lol. Gaming is expensive by itself. You can also plug your pc to a cheap monitor but you won’t get the max performance same with consoles
Sony tvs get Auto HDR calibration plus the best VRR with ALLM . I got my PS5 oro connected to a 75" X95L and the picture quality is glorious! The mix of the cognitive processor from the X95L and the Pssr from PS5 Pro is simply unbeatable.
The Sony A95L is the tv I have and I love this thing it’s a great QDOLED but it does have a little higher input lag than others like Samsungs but Sony has Dolby vision support instead of just HDR10+ , I was surprised the king of TVs did not get mentioned at all..
I think you missed the point for the pro. It’s a test run for pssr tech. Car companies do it all the time for the mid refresh of the same car. If anything it’s smart move as a company.
I would love OLED...But theres one thing I do not like...ABL...I hate it when my TV will gradually adjust brighness to prolong its life...Once ABL is no longer a thing then Ill still stay with LCD LED
A 50 dollar 1080p plasma or a free one from the kerb outperforms every LCD that's ever been made anyway. OLED or shear size is the only reason to buy anything else for the ps5 pro but it's a lot of money for not much gain.

LG C3 or C4 and you'll be happy. I bought a C1 in 2021 and I'm perfectly happy with it.
How the gaming on it
I got the C2 and it's hands down the best TV I've ever owned for the price and picture quality. amazing for games and movies. Sound isn't bad either.

I would love OLED...But theres one thing I do not like...ABL...I hate it when my TV will gradually adjust brighness to prolong its life...Once ABL is no longer a thing then Ill still stay with LCD LED
A 50 dollar 1080p plasma or a free one from the kerb outperforms every LCD that's ever been made anyway. OLED or shear size is the only reason to buy anything else for the ps5 pro but it's a lot of money for not much gain.
S95d is also a qd-oled. It is literally a better version of the S90D

Could be a toss up because s90d has a glossy finish vs s95d matte finish. I prefer the look of the s90d
