If you think Abletts last 3 years at goldcoast compare any better to Franklins last 2 years then we would have to disagree. From 07 - 17 there was only 1 year he didn't kick at least 50 goals and even that one year he kicked 47. I would call that pretty consistent. The biggest difference between the 2 though is Impact. Franklin consistently turned games while Ablett jr racked up large numbers getting handball receives at the back of gold coast packs.
You did miss somebody obvious you moron.. Reiwolt times 2 should be on your forwards list ahead of mos of the others you named but Franklin still head and shoulders above them to.
Lol thats why majority of people rank ablett as a better player.....
And noone puts franklin over Carey as a better centre half forward either.
When friends and opponents all say hes the GOAT, thats what counts not randos on RUclips.
@@HeywoodJablowme7 Now you are just making up things. Who is this majority?
Im not sure what Carey has to do with a conversation about the best in the 2000s.
What friends say about him is clearly biased, that should be self evident. If you were to pick
a forward plus a midfielder, from the 2000s to start to base a team around, I would be ecstatic
to have Franklin and Judd you can have Ablett and who-ever else and If you believe you would
have an advantage, again we would have to agree to disagree.
If the opinion of randos on youtube dont count for anything, then why are you being a rando on youtube?
Ablett spends most of his time on the outside of a pack waiting for someone else to go get the ball and give him the easy possession. .. so many more valuable players in the league .
You must be ten years old. He was the best inside midfielder in the comp for years.
Ablett has the most career contested possessions...of any player...ever
maybe you start watching footy a couple of years back.
Gold Coast needs to fold. Could be the silver lining of this virus. AFL need to swallow their pride. GC are an embarrassment to the integrity of the sport. VFL teams would rate themselves a chance.
@john smith hahaha true
Bring back Fitzroy
john smith why not get a real name and Fold Coast are much much worse
john smith can’t compare they have only been in the Comp since 2011. They will never win a flag the suns the Saints will be next after that the Dees at some point. Imagine the Grand Final Party when these two sides win gon be massive
Lists have been reduced to 35. I can see it now, GC will get priority picks/first dibs on all the other teams delisted players. Guarantee it.
Judd was far better in his prime. No questions asked.
Cousins equalled ablett.
Judd is the GOAT.
