When I heard they did this I wasn't too sure about how it would be without Sean..
But I think Lee was the perfect replacement and Sean would have found this hilarious 😁

He can absolutely get a bit annoying sometimes tho, explaining people's jokes and butting into stories ruining the flow. He is incredibly quick witted and enjoy him but sometimes just needs to chill out

The Guy with the beard is Joe Wilkinson. His poem on 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown is hilarious! For Lee Mack - Irish Names is really funny and his stuff on Would I lie to you is awesome!
This is all about mind games with John who can't help but take something as daft as this seriously . Against Led Mack who has spent years as a captain on Would I lie to you , one of the funniest and best shows on tv , might be worth a look , especially Bob Mortimer episodes but do get the picture back , it's getting tiresome watching ghosts .
Check out Lee telling the story of his first stand up on the Graham Norton show - it made John Cleese almost cry with laughter.
If you liked that you have to go down the rabbit hole that is Would I lie to you, he is sooooooo quick and particularly when Bob Mortimer is in his team. The chemistry between them all on that show is immense. Britain has the best comedians without a doubt. Glad you enjoyed this introduction to Lee Mack

You should play this game - last Christmas when we had a family get together, we played "Chocolate in a Box"... unashamedly ripped off from this segment. It was brilliant, kids v kids, adults v adults, adults v kids....all to win a small chocolate bar. It was the best time we have had at Christmas......just like Jon Richardson - one of the family lost every time. Go for it.....I only replaced the carrot with chocolate to get the kids interested.

Lee Mack is razor sharp in his quick witted responses, very funny on panel shows, and great stand-up.
No one compares to Sean Lock. A true comedy genius. Sadly missed.

Lee Mack excellent. You should look up him recalling a joke when he first started out. It’s on the Graham Norton Show with John Cleese. It’s available on you tube and is fantastic.

Lee Mac is a different type sauce to Sean Lock, where as Sean would wait for you to burn and then drop the bombshell to nail it home, Lee Mack catches you off guard out of the gate. Mayo and Barbeque Sauce, both very very good.

Lee mentioned Naked Attraction. It's a TV show in the UK which takes the blind date game to the extreme. A person has to choose between numerous people who are all naked behind screens. The screens go up to the legs, and the person elimates those he doesn't like. Then the screens go up to genital area (all fully on display I might add), and the person eliminates those he doesn't like. Then the screen goes up to the chest area, aaaaand you get the idea. (the person choosing can be male or female, as can the ones behind the screens)
The person who chooses eventually gets naked too and then they go off on a date with the person they chose.
FFS, watch the WHOLE clip, it's there for a fcuking reason!
Lee Mack is one of the quickest wittiest blokes going!!! He's on fire
Aside from being very funny, I thought Lee Mack was a great choice to step in, because he's a team captain on another game show, called "Would I Lie to You?", where the contestants have to tell some wild story and the other team has to guess whether it's true or false. The other team's captain is David Mitchell and the host is Rob Brydon.
For Lee mack, you need to watch "would I lie to you" another gameshow, Lee mack and David Mitchell are amazing

Out of all the programs, films, plays and avant-guarde small theatre productions of 'Carrot In A Box' that I've witnessed, this program is head and a few leaves above the rest!
I love how genuinely annoyed Jon is. Jon also has a show about him and his family called Meet The Richardsons, and I can't remember which one but she is either an actress or a comedian.

Others have said it but you should check out would I lie to you... Lee Mack is on that show. I'd recommend Kevin Bridges...I bought a horse.
I recommend you to try to watch "Would I Lie To You?" Where Lee Mack is one of the team captains. I also recommend to try to find some with "QI" especially the "Poking Fun at Stephen" one
Watching from the UK, there is bad reflection from your cupboards across the screen of your tv, cannot see anything ? Great reaction though 👍
There is still one more carrot in a box left. It's carrot in a box - naked attraction edition. It's from 8 out of 10 cats (non countdown edition) with Jimmy Carr hosting, but the contestants are Katherine Ryan and Rob Beckett.

Sean Lock and Lee Mack are so similar with their comedy. If you like one you will like the other. They were both good friends as well, panel shows when both were on at the same time were hilarious😂 love them both.

There's really no overthinking in this game. It's a fifty-fifty shot and John just happened to guess wrong twice... I don't really count the first time because 99% of people would have been (and were) completely taken in by Sean's genius play.
you need to follow the years Jon and Sean done cats does countdown to appreciate Jon, who suffers from ADHD i believe, he is super competitive, he hates being beaten in anything, he has cleanliness and tidiness issues, he cleverly he brings all this into his comedy, to the point it gets irritating but in a good way, and never does it fail to make you smile, as all the other guys and girls never tire of ribbing him over it

It's like watching gogglebox usa watching reaction vids. For family viewing binge 'not going out' from the early ones with Tim vine in. Lee mack one of the quickest comics you will see. Not as brutal as others but good. ✌️

I'm not sure about Queen Boomer playing Carrot in a Box, she might have a secret hiding place, better play safe and have tinned carrots, maybe that's where Jon Richardson has been going wrong the last three times, he does have quite bad OCD though, I'm not sure if you were aware of this, he is well known for his OCD.

Try the show 'Would I lie to you?' as Lee is a team captain on the show every week. The game is a bluffing game (is the story told true or a lie) and the other team captain is David Mitchell. Lee and David are the best opponents to each other as both are very skilled at playing with words and being very, very funny.
Great as ever, But why is the performance now translucent. Not liking it!
