i'm not sure if they would look right since they have 2 sides but the metal napkin holders in the beginning could be fireplace screens. and the small basket that had a dip in the side would have made a cute pet bed.
It always amazes me that you see an item and your brain automatically knows what you will do with it. My brain goes "What can I do with it?" I did like the napkin rings. You should have purchased the snow man for an outside scene. I like the shelf paper also. The doilies are too cute and look good on the kitchen table. I love the tapestry. Too cute!!! It will look good in Marilyn Monroe's apartment. I can see it sitting in front of a sofa. I like that you go shopping with a particular budget in mind. I can easily blow my budget, though I try really hard not to. (ja.ja) I am currently working on a new dollhouse for a friend. She will use it in an auction for church. This doll house will be an Alice In Wonderland themed house, just because I have lots of extra "stuff" to use in it. (ja, ja) Thanks for your video. I enjoyed it.
Hey Sharon, hope you're doing well :) sometimes I do miss things, I sit and watch the video and get angry for not grabbing something, because i think of what i can do with it, but it's too late :) Your dollhouse sounds so cute :) thank you so much for watching :)
I love using mug mats, placemats, and doilies as throw rugs. I wish our store had metal bits bagged up. I love finding scrolled bits and bobs to use in my wedding decor.
Mug mats, would love to find some of those :) i found some really cool metal bits, but I try to grab a bag or two whenever I go back.... they definitely come in handy.... would make amazing wedding decor :) thanks so much for watching and commenting :)
Thank you so very much for taking us along!❣️ I love the planters you bought!❣️❣️ I looove the napkin rings!❣️ ❣️ You are sooooo clever!! ❣️❣️❣️ You always find such cool things & at good prices too!!❣️❣️❣️ I loooove everything ypu bought!!❣️❣️❣️ I love that mini rug & the doily ribbon!!❣️❣️❣️ I looove those bags of metal bits!❣️❣️❣️
Thank you soooooo much :) Mission is definitely my favourite thrift store, I find the prices so much better than the others, plus that metal baggy wall :) thanks again :)
Great thrift, lots of finds for crafting! 🤗 I just love the area rug for Marylin or Elizabeth's diorama! 😍 Great metal pieces, too. I'm learning a lot of ways to be creative from you for my 1:12 and 1:6 scale dollhouses. 🤩 The minute you picked up the napkin rings and table clamps, I immediately thought lighting and shelving! 😂👍🏾
Thanks for taking us along. That white basket looked like an awesome basket for a nursery; that diamond type object could be the top of a stool at a vanity for Elizabeth or Marilyn’s diorama; love the rug. I like the napkin rings as light fixtures and I like and the shelf paper for countertops.
Thanks for coming with me :) definitely :) I wish you could really come thrifting with me :) so many times while I'm editing video, i yell at myself for missing something or not coming up with an idea for it :) Thanks so much for watching and commenting :)
@@GingerLolaMiniatures I love thrifting too and because of you I see things differently when searching for items for my dioramas or dollhouse. Thank you.
The container at 2:47 looks like it may be a great old fashioned tub.😊 At 3:46 the wood drawer cabinet was pretty nice.👍 The wall looking bowl at 4:33 is nice I like that.😊 Enjoyable thrifting trip!👏
The container was too small to be a tub, I liked it too, but don't have the room for it right now, I did recently thrift a great organization cabinet with smaller drawers. I don't think I saw the wall looking bow at 4:33.... Thank you so much for watching and commenting :)
@@GingerLolaMiniatures Oh what a bummer on the container to small. I understand now having room for it too. 😆 I still think you always do a great job thrifting. 😉
The lamp mat will make a gorgeous rug. The bead caps are too small for 1:6 lighting, I think. The strip of lace is marvelous for doilies - so thin! The morsel of marble paper can cover some kitchen counters or the vanity in a bathroom.
Is that what it is, a lamp mat? cool to know....thanks ... love the lace doilies :) definitely great as a backsplash too :) thanks so much for watching and commenting :)
I'm not planning on a boutique diorama, I was thinking of creating a thrift store diorama :) but I'm having too much fun designing rooms in the dioramas .... but you never know :) if i see something similar and its cheap .... i'll grab it :)
My favourites in this haul were the metal pieces and the lace/band material and your mini rug; I am really looking forward to you starting the Marylyn Monroe /Liz Tayler roomboxes :) I got a whole bag full of old jewelry/craftmaterial from an friend of a friend when I visited my parents and had so much fun sorting everything out.
Thanks so much 😊 can't wait to work on those dioramas, but i have a few projects before i start those :) that's cool, old jewelry works great in small scale :)
3:20 I thought you might get the wire unit on the middle shelf as the framework for a bed 😁 It would look really nice as a headboard in one of the celebrities’ apartments or in the pink apartment since it was a nice light color (although you could easily just paint it). You’d just need to extend off from the sides to make the rest of the bed frame into a nice queen or king size bed and it’s quite sturdy (but, that’s just my opinion)😊 Otherwise, you got some really nice items that I look forward to seeing in your dioramas in the future ✨💖✨
omg you're so right.... and i'm actually looking for bed ideas for the pink pop bedroom, I want to start that soon, urghhhh it would have been perfect :( ... thanks so much :)
I found a couple of 'tubs' for Barbie, a pink one for the pink pop diorama, and i thrifted one recently, you'll see in an upcoming video :) pretty sure i could apply the marble paper around the tub....that would look cool :)
Is it a mission store on Young? If it is, then how will you deal with smell from fabric? They use some kind of disinfectant that is impossible to get rid of!

That chunky diamond thing would have made a neat basin sink for Marilyn Monroe's bathroom. Love the tapestry you got. It will make a lovely rug.
Or even a great crystal bowl with something in it on a table
That's an awesome idea :) it would have been perfect for Marilyn's bathroom ... thank you
awesome idea!
I have a tea light candle holder that looks like that - thank you for the ideas
You're very welcome :) best thing was, there was one for Barbie and one for me :) you have to turn things upside down when you go thrifting :)
At 11:56, that wicker basket with the cut-out would make a nice large pet bed.
My brain automatically went "Barbie should get a big dog" haha
Definitely.... I already have a smaller one .... thanks so much for watching and commenting
lol... barbie has a smaller bed :)
If the napkin rings are made from resin you could saw them in half and then use them as wall lights ;)
I like that idea.... sconces right? thanks so much
i'm not sure if they would look right since they have 2 sides but the metal napkin holders in the beginning could be fireplace screens. and the small basket that had a dip in the side would have made a cute pet bed.
That's a great idea, I would have to somehow cut it in half....probably not so easy... I have a similar dog bed but a lot smaller :) thanks so much!
Love the rug n metal pieces ❤
Thank you sooooo much :)

The metal thing at 55 seconds would have been a nice bar table
I was thinking a clothing rack for a boutique, but gosh darnitt, it would have made a cool table too :) thanks so much for watching and commenting :)

The rug is gorgeous!! I about cried when you passed the 1:12 porcelain dolls! 😅
Thank you :) sorry about that
Ha, it's alright. I've just never seen them for sale at a thrift store before. Love you videos.
Thank you so much :)
I am sure you have been told this before, but you would make a good interior decorator.
Thank you sooooo much :) I actually took a few courses in interior design but then ended up doing graphic design :)
You are an amazing artist. You inspire me to get my doll work done. I do the same thing too, scour thrift stores for 1:6 scale finds 😊
Thank you so much! That's so cool, definitely fun :)

Maybe the metal acorn caps could be decorative bells!
I like that idea :) acorns....that's what they are :)
If you manage to get hold of a Barbie-scale bath tub, could you cover the outside with the marble paper?…
I found a couple of 'tubs' for Barbie, a pink one for the pink pop diorama, and i thrifted one recently, you'll see in an upcoming video :) pretty sure i could apply the marble paper around the tub....that would look cool :)

ewww really? nope this one is in Mississauga :) eeks, i'll have to smell any fabric i buy now, thank you :)
