I love decluttering! It makes a huge difference, in my opinion. You have definitely been getting a lot of things done this year around your house. You should be so proud of yourself ❤
Omg it’s so cool to find a RUclipsr who is in Alberta too! This declutter has been motivating me to go through all my things before I move to my new apartment. Thank you for all your hard work!
I have been decluttering for a month now . Everyday a bit by bit as I'm still maintaining my daily chores. I too have let go alot of new items that I've never used . I can't believe how much I've spent of just plastic containers of all sizes lol as I have many crystals too . Thank you for your videos they helped me rethink and let go of other items . Everything holds energy so decluttering and getting rid of old helps new energy flow . You did an amazing job 👍👍❤️👍👍♥️♥️♥️💯
It helps others who are in financial crisis to find an essential piece like a coffee pot in the charity shop, especially in the current economy and prices. And since we can't use stuff on the other side except love, you do well. Thanks from Scotland.
Hi Aleah, I already watched all your decluttering videos but I enjoyed watching it all in one video, sorry I was busy working that's why it took me a few days to watch your video. I'm looking forward to watching your formal dining room project❤ Loving all your videos ❤❤❤🇨🇦
The basement declutter was my favourite!!! We also decluttered our basement in preparation for a move in the next year or two. I wanted to get it done now so when we do start the process of selling our house this would be one less huge project Thanks for the massive motivation ❤
Decluttering is the best thing ever. We have quite the festivities here in India and we get a lot of decluttering around this time of year. You can feel the positive vibes when you declutter the house. We threw away a lot of things.
I love what you have done so far. Suggestion, You could have hooks on the wall next to your basement storage for the wreaths. That way, they don't get squished in boxes. Good luck with your declutting. And yes, continue to declutter every 6 months. It helps so you know how much you have and what you need to get rid of. I had to do what you did many years ago, and this helps me to stay on top of things.
Love your Video. Maybe you can put the blankets and pillows in vacuum bags, then the need Not so much place and are safe from dust and Bugs. Greets from Germany ❤
Only at the start of the video & I watched while finishing up my nightly closing duties, & am about to cross stitch while probably watching more (or might save the rest for when I'm cleaning tomorrow haha) But absolutely yes to just donating/getting rid of the stuff asap! I had like 2 big bags of clothes to donate that have been sitting in my wardrobe anyway bc I just haven't been able to go do it the last couple months & when I was able to, I'd forget about it bc it was tucked out of the way, out of sight, out of mind. But I sorted out multiple bags of baby clothes that both my boys have outgrown now, and my mum visited the next day & offered to take them in since she knew exactly where to take the donations (& I'm still unsure in this town where I'm supposed to do that lol) and she has a car & her license, and I don't have my license. I was going to say "no don't worry about it, don't trouble yourself, I'll get (partners name) to do it soon" as I usually would but then was like... Nope! This gets it out of my house & she goes into town frequently anyway, she's offered and WANTS to help me, and this is helping me tremendously. So I said yes, & she put them in her car right then. It's only a small part out of everything in this house that needs to be decluttered & donated, but gosh it is such a weight off to know that those items in particular are just out of here & I don't have to move them around while I clean or sort through other stuff.
I needed this. I haven’t cleaned my bedroom in 2-3 years. It’s in such an awful state. Besides the path from my door to my bed, you can’t see the floor.
58:09 I keep stuff like that in boxes. It is easier to store them, you don't have to worry about wrapping them or little bits getting broken off because they just live in their original packaging, it's just safer
@AleahMartins you must have done a lot of editing. 🤣 mine are usually super loud and ill sneeze at least 10 times in a row then pause and do it again for a while lmao. You too?
FYI some food banks take expired canned and dry goods. They will give it to farmers who in return give them fresh food. Check with the local food bank to see.
Hi, I hope you’re all well! For the shelves in the playroom, I think you could move the kids’ board games there. It’d clear space in the closet, and you can separate the ones that Quinn can’t play yet by having them in different cubbies. Yesterday I decided to have tea and toast with jam, and watch the Princess Diaries. While I was watching this video I was thinking that I’m sure Rowan especially would love the movies. Have you played them for them?
That Wonderful declutter basement will be the Families Favorite Room. Place a T.V. for Gaming for kids and some Toys. Have Entertainment center for Adults too
You don’t have to call yourself lazy or say it was out of convenience - having children is all consuming - and sometimes the decluttering happens when you have more time - you’re doing awesome !
Hi Alena, to clean your microwave next time, put a measuring cup with water and microwave for a few minutes and let steam fir 10 minutes then it will wipe right out, you can always add some lemon juice to the water. 😊
Hi Aleah, hope you are well. Just an idea but when you do develop the basement, why don’t you make the playroom come down to the basement and your current playroom, make another bedroom? Love your content. ❤️
I would switch the giftbags and birthdaystuff with the Puzzles and games, so the kids can take them by themself. Sorry, my english is Not the very best. ❤ 🇩🇪
If I had a huge basement I’d keep the most valuable baby/toddler things they were in good quality because I can’t even begin to think about how much this stuff is going to cost in 15-20 years.
Love your content! Especially that you're in Canada, I have to watch it in 1.5 speed because I find you talk a bit slow lol other than that it's great!
I have three adult children. There came a time when i stopped buying toys with alot of pieces! Especially when they didnt pickup after themselves. If they have adult problems its not because they didnt have enough toys. Just not sure why parents buy so many toys. Of course its your family not mine.
Hear me out. About 30 minutes in, you were talking about something not being your style and people may see that as frivolous and wasteful. I think we should change our mindset to being "This is someone else's style and they are going to be so happy to find this." Not only that, you're saving someone else money when they buy second hand and now there wasn't another red bowl purchased at the store, when you had one you aren't using.

Good job! I decided to start decluttering. I do some Dailey after work either before or after I make dinner. I take 1-2 hrs a day!

Bravo! You did so much work. I tackled my garage over the summer. It's not easy.
It was so much fun as a kid to have a string of rainbow lights around the inside of my bedroom window.
Loving these Videos.
You have begun your journey of a thousand miles

@@AleahMartinsi was going to suggest that also. They stay clean and take up less space.
Great video, Aleah! We always need to declutter our houses from time to time. 😊❤

I have also been declutterring . I have seen a big difference . I have had a total of 8 garbage bags . At least 3 car loads of donations.

Wow. Hopefully you been doing ok after that major decluttering
We have gone threw this we had to move alot if our stuff was thrown away.
One thing I will never understand: Why even buy so much stuff??
I am too- If I am using it- it's trash!

I wish I can snap my fingers all disappear.
Puzzles and board games grow with children
Yes I'm a blonde I have black highlights
Just put any plate on top of the chilli bowel...
It's bothering me that you didn't get the things under the couch 😂😂😂
Very nice video madam
Should have moved the couch in the playroom
Isn’t this a repeat video? I thought I watched this already
She explained at the beginning of the video that this is a compilation of the videos of the basement plus some other areas.
Shame on them for shaming you. Professional declutter people throw stuff if it's overwhelming. They say to throw it if it will get it out.
♥️♥️♥️
Только один вопрос, зачем столько всего?
Why are you bagging the cardboard recycling 🤦♀️.
We have to. It’s the rules for our city for curbside pickup.
