What’s funny is I remember walking past that Boulder a few times while wandering around out there and thought someday somebody will climb that. Came across this video today and it made my day. Great storytelling and core message. Following the cutting edge in terms of grade is awesome, but I think it's time we start to celebrate more of the beauty of the process, the climbing and the rock and the internal battle. Isn't that ultimately what we can all relate to, and where the best moments in climbing lie? Not just a list ticking exercise (which can be fun too of course).
