jeff f 🤘🏻 meet too, not as long. Its been a good 20 for me...no plans of slowing, was a complete pleasure to see him live back in vegas..he still had his witt and charm and deadpan humor....was planing on seeing him last summer again but he got sick so he pushed it to this summer and now this...huge loss for music and society. RIP
@@desroches1 I only saw him once, in the mid90s, at the Palace in Louisville. Very good concert, don't remember how long he played, but he stayed up there a hell of a while, and played just about everything in his catalogue to that point. For my money, he's a better songwriter than Dylan, particularly looking at his entire career.
@@desroches1 From what I understand, Prine liked Miller's music. Don't consider myself a country fan, but I've always enjoyed Miller. He usually comes at things a little askew, so they had that in common. Prine went his own way at an amble, and combined a Mid-Western accent and sensibility with a surreal touch, and could make you laugh and break your heart in the same song.
listening to john for 50 years.
From the music and musings of Prophet John Prine, R.I.P.
Mr John Prine!!!!!!!
Awesome!- or should I say "Ah-hum"
That background was mesmerizing. Miss him.
Good stuff. I've listened tp Prine for going on forty years, with no plans to quit.

jeff f I agree with you as far a Dylan....to me Prine and Roger Miller are the top 2 and I cant put one in front of the other!
