It’s just something about you…I relate in a real way. I saved this video to circle back probably 2 months ago. I paired this video with A-to-Zen declutter video and purchased the audio book “goodbye things” while listening decluttered my office, bathroom, kitchen and living room. Mind I don’t have a lot of things and it’s a 550 square 1 bedroom but…the little I did have was everywhere and I mean everywhere I just let it all go. Had to dig and step over things to function…however I’ve been kicking back pockets with fitness, faith and finances so housekeeping I had to let go for 3 months even paid a neighbor to clean when it got unbearable a couple of times so that I can stay focused on those 3 F’s… I was ok with it because I had to switch gears from housekeeping to building a foundation/routine for faith, fitness and finance…so here I am circled back declutter done and this time a different mindset. Small step long distances. This time doing life with God. Sweet sweet blessings to yall!
I keep it fun by adding a sticker to a piece of paper for every bag or box I drop off to donate! It's crazy seeing how much I've gotten rid of throughout the year.
Reaching one goal really does teach you how to reach another goal! Paying off debt taught me that I could do other big, difficult things...and that I just needed a simple monthly plan to follow so I would know where I'd end up and how long it would take. That helped me so much with decluttering after paying off student loans a similar way!
Enjoyed how you and your husband together did the Decluttering. Loved his comment how you are “fine” to look at and shouldn’t dress yourself in clothing that hides that. 😍 I have declutterred most of our home and then over time go back through those same areas to review what I was unable to give up the last time. I had an English saddle for years in my basement as in a previous marriage lived in the country and had horses, but left that marriage with 3 small boys for the well-being of myself and the children. Moving to the city was a big step feeling I may when they are older be able to move back to the country but came to the realization as I have remarried and aged that that dream is not reality. Finally sold the saddle, had a sadness when I did that but believe it was more from the loss of a young woman’s dream of a happy healthy loving lifetime relationship/family than the actual sale of the saddle. My current husband’s health and my age affects returning to life in the country BUT I have so much to be thankful for and remind myself every day of how good God is. ❤ Enjoyed your post.
Oh wow, I really appreciate it and thank you so much for sharing your story. Letting go of things that we hold dear can be so hard, but your reflection on embracing gratitude and the blessings of your current life is truly beautiful. It sounds like you’ve built a life full of love and intention, and that’s such a testament to your strength and resilience. ❤️
I also have a thing for cups. Mugs & glassware, specifically. Pretty glassware adds such elegance to even just drinking water. I drink water out of wine glasses. I know...I'm not helping! Love love love seeing married couples team up to solve problems together. Bless your union.♥
Hi Kristi!! Awesome video. I laughed 😂often throughout because it's so relatable. "Your hubby's "this is foolishness" comment😂 to the drink glasses I understand. I too have to be creative about storage. I find that decluttering in layers for some items depending on what it is works as well. Happy 90-day challenge 🎉
Happy Sunday loves! 10 days down in our 30 Day Throwaway! For this video I figured I’d take it back and show how the declaring all started. It’s been a curve, but by making fun, it’s been something I’ve been able to stick with.
@@kristidoingthings I’ve completely declutterred my youngest son’s closet. I’m so proud. I walk in there every day just to admire my work 😂😂It also keeps me motivated.
This is encouraging me to declutter. And thank you for making it so fun watching your video.
You got this! I am so happy to hear that.
The freezin in time when he said "are you sure you dont have more shoes in your car?" that hit me too- 🤔😅
🤣🤣🤣

So true! It's planting the small seeds that help us to tackle other things.

I absolutely love this video, so clever, I will be starting utensils tomorrow! Thank you 😊
Woohoo!!! How'd it go?
You two make it look easy! I like the idea of decluttering one thing at a time.
Lol! It really can be easy and fun. We make a game out of everything so that we WANT to do it. Hope you're doing well!

Lol, no you are not helping AT ALL 😆 We have to force ourselves to not bring new cups/mugs/glasses into the house. And thank you so much!!!

❤❤ this was great. I’m doing well so far.
Yay, glad to hear it! Have you gotten any spaces fully decluttered?

The old towels can be donated to your local animal shelter
Thanks!!!
Thank you for sharing the video so we can see our own clutter and I just decided I do have clutter 😫😫😫🤣🤦🏾♀️🙏🏾🤷🏾♀️
You can do it!

Hi. Thanks for sharing. Do you donate your old towels to your local animal shelters?
That’s a great idea! 👍🏽👍🏽
