Sounds like you've got a productive day planned for tomorrow! Fridge cleaning might not be the most glamorous task, but it's so satisfying to look at a fresh and organized fridge 😊
I also like recycling and absolutely admiring the effort, but what happens with this newly created containers, these reused things? Aren’t they junk that we save (probably we shouldn’t even buy them or somehow the industry should also be more sensitive on packaging) then becomes clutter and then we declutter them and they still end up in our selective bins?
Hi Linda, you're absolutely right! While recycling and reusing are commendable, it's crucial to consider the lifecycle of these repurposed items. In areas like dairy and tofu where alternative packaging options aren't always easy to find, minimizing our consumption becomes even more crucial. And I also agree that this highlights the need for both individuals and corporations to work towards more sustainable solutions. Ultimately, it's about finding a balance between minimizing waste and ensuring what we repurpose doesn't just contribute to another cycle of clutter. Thanks for sparking this important conversation! 🌱
If they made the white tofu tubs and the black microwave dishes in clear plastic, they would be commercially recyclable. Billions of those black dishes are produced.
Hi Rop, you make an excellent point. Switching to clear plastic for tofu tubs could significantly improve their recyclability. Considering the amount of black dishes produced, this change could have a substantial positive impact on the environment. As consumers, we have the power to drive change through our purchasing choices and demand more sustainable packaging. Thank you for highlighting this important issue! 🌎

I like the idea of repurposing plastic containers, but I have a deep aversion to cardboard. Insects love to eat it, and it's very flimsy. I just can't get myself to keep it in the house.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, SunshineCatwoman! Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m glad you found the video helpful ❤️
Thank you. Many good ideas.
Hi Linda, you are so welcome!
My favourite at 6.40💯
I'm glad you're enjoying these tips! The best part is that the prints on the shoe box is so cute and fitting for a caddy. It's always a pleasure turning something functional into something also visually appealing as well.
Lovely❤❤
Thank you 😊 Have a wonderful day!
Very good video! But if you can do your own yogurt you'll reduce plastic consume even more (and it tastes even better)
Hi Momo Chan, Thank you for the suggestion! You know I have been contemplating on making my own yogurt before (and sour dough starter) It is a fantastic idea to reduce plastic waste and enjoy a healthier, tastier option. I'll definitely look into it. Thanks for the tip!
@@AmyGood It is so very easy to make your own yoghurt. I really encourage you to do it. It tastes so good. Store bought is black and white while home made yoghurt is technicolour.
@@akankshapatwari4167 Hi Akanksha! Thank you so much for the encouragement-I’ve always been curious about making my own yogurt, and your description has me even more inspired! I love the way you compared it to technicolor-homemade must be so much richer and tastier. I will have to give it a try soon!
@@AmyGood I just warm milk. It should not be hot. If you put a finger in it you should just feel a comfortable warmth . Then I add a teaspoon of yoghurt which is the starter. I stir the milk and place it in a warm covered place for a few hours. Voilà you have fresh homemade yoghurt.
I loved this video very much then .
Hi Mange, Thank you so much! 😊 I’m so glad you loved the video-it means a lot to me! ❤️✨
Wonderful!

I like also recycling or DIY projects like this 😊😊
Hi Jenny, that's wonderful! Do you have any tips that I can learn from you? 😊
Thank you 🤗
Hi Carol, you are so welcome 😊 Have a wonderful weekend!🌤️

After cutting the top of the milk and vinegar bottles, sand the edges or even place a slightly warm iron on it. The sharp edges will be smoothed out and prevent injuries.
Thank you so much for sharing this great tip, Akanksha! I never thought of using an iron! I’ll definitely keep this in mind for future projects. Thanks again for your suggestion! ❤️
@AmyGood I sometimes use a hair straightener at a very low heat setting to smooth out the jagged edges of plastic.
Tomorrow is my fridge cleaning timeee
I agree❤
If they made the white tofu tubs and the black microwave dishes in clear plastic, they would be commercially recyclable. Billions of those black dishes are produced.
Hi Rop, you make an excellent point. Switching to clear plastic for tofu tubs could significantly improve their recyclability. Considering the amount of black dishes produced, this change could have a substantial positive impact on the environment. As consumers, we have the power to drive change through our purchasing choices and demand more sustainable packaging. Thank you for highlighting this important issue! 🌎
I will do the project with the baby wipes lids.
Sounds great! Please let me know how it goes for you!
Thanks for commenting. I did and use my little case to store memory cards. I also used some of your ideas to organize my drawers.

Don’t use arm and hammer. Instead use Bob’s Redmill brand, which is clean unlike Arm and Hammer which has aluminum.
HI Kat-n-Ollie, thank you for the tip! I will make sure to check the ingredients in the future and consider using Bob’s Redmill instead.❤️

I like the idea of repurposing plastic containers, but I have a deep aversion to cardboard. Insects love to eat it, and it's very flimsy. I just can't get myself to keep it in the house.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, SunshineCatwoman! (I love your name by the way) 😊 I totally understand your concern- other viewers who lives in a warmer climate has mentioned that cardboard can attract insects, and it’s not always the sturdiest option. Repurposing plastic containers is such a great idea, and I love that you're focused on finding practical solutions that work for you. If you have any other storage tips, I’d love to hear them!
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it 😊
From México the best is not buy more that need. If you need to buy or do more containers y because you have more that need.
Thank you for your comment! You're right, it's best to avoid buying more than we need. If we find ourselves needing more containers, it might be a sign that we have more than necessary. Great advice!

Hi friend!
Do you want an intro, outro, banner, thumbnail?
Haha you put them in the fridge too
Hey Fateme! Are you referring to the cord covers? Yeah, I always thought small yogurt cups were quite annoying because they take up a lot of real estate in the fridge. Hanging them from the fridge ceiling makes them much more accessible and frees up a ton of valuable space!
@@AmyGood yes i do, its very creative that yu put them, since they are tiny they got too much space and make fridge looks disorganized i really looking forward to go to my home and use these tips in my fridge.

From México, use cardboard and paper in not a good idea, they brings cockroach to your home.
Hi Yoyis, some viewers from Mexico have mentioned that using cardboard and paper can attract cockroaches. I guess it’s important to alternate materials depending on the area you live in. This is definitely something new for me to learn about! 😊

Most of these things aren't practical for an established home. They're not finiahed with any type of coverage. Eg. paint, wall paper etc. looks like childs play.
Hi Flowergirl, thank you for your feedback! I understand that some of these ideas might not be practical for an established home. I'm always open to suggestions, so feel free to share any tips or ideas you have for making these projects more polished and suitable for a more finished look. Your input is appreciated!
Plus, you are too special to use ordinary poor people's things.

We require
Sturdy stuff..we need to keep base strong for it to hold heavy stuff..
nd plastic box that
Don't have transparent lids...difficult to identify unless marked..
Video provided “main” ideas and it’s up to user to decorate or cover items. I enjoyed the ideas.
@@TM15HAKRN I see your point, and I agree to some extent. The fun with recycled items is that we don't need to feel guilty when we eventually have to retire them, knowing we've extended their usage. It's also important to use sturdy materials to ensure they can hold heavy items. And I agree, plastic boxes without transparent lids can be difficult to identify unless they are clearly marked. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 😊
