No/low cost DIY ideas. If you have some old gift wrapping paper and a glue gun, you can do all these things easily. Very useful, innovative and most importantly, you have all the things you need, at home.

plastic boxes with securely Snapon lids are also good for terrariums, or for sprouting seeds (as long as you give them a little bit of air during the day so they don’t get moldy… Keeping it closed a lot keeps the soil evenly moist.) If you take the lid off of it, they make an expensive/free drainage dish for plants in pots. You can also use them to store seeds if they are fairly stable when you open and close them. This is great if you do a lot of sprouting and you want to keep a small amount of seats close to your sprouting system.

Use the egg carton idea to make a pretty box that can hold half a dozen of those colored plastic "pop apart" eggs (with treats inside). Glue a pretty design on the cover and you have a cute little Easter gift for a young girl...and she can use the container to keep them, or store other trinkets.

Well not what I expected from the thumb nail But it did give me an idea to do what I wanted to do. I have been saving Sauce ridged packets you know the lil tray style from fast food places. Anyway I see them as becoming mini storage for on a corner of my desk to catch all those lil tiny things that just seem to gather like dust bunnies under the desk, lol But I think by combining them with some inter locking drink straws I can build a leggo style eer expandable micro organizer of sorts. Thanks for the video !

I saw some expensive, beautiful “glass plastic” dividers in planners by upscale companies. So when I purchased some thing that came in a very hard, very clear plastic package, I carefully cut it and punched it with my disk bind or punch to create one for free. Since then I have used the rigid clear plastic on boxes of sliced cheese to do something similar on smaller disc binders.…, top tab dividers, side tab dividers, bookmarks. They look really nice with clear tape labels with a white or colored font printed on them (I use a brother labeler). So if you like planners to keep track of your life, whether you have a disc binder or a ring binder, you can do something like this also! I also use beautiful papers to cover ugly paper dividers, and to create bookmarks etc.

Eggs need to ‘breath’ too (and why even in plastic containers, there are gaps in the box). Air tight containers are no good for eggs.
