Bluetooth on the keyboard's a godsend - there are times it's good to have a surface pro (like this 7) in portrait mode propped on its 90 degree out stand, but even better if the keyboard still worked.
Well, my wife wanted the Surface Pro 11 w/ Snapdragon Plus processor. So, I got her one in Sapphire blue, matching keyboard, and a Surface Pen 2 for a Christmas present. Yes, it’s expensive, but I spent more than that on Apple stuff, earlier this year. 😬 Oh, and my Surface Pro 4 is still working like a champ!
Hi Lisa. I watched part of your video three times, and then I double-checked on the Surface website to make sure. I want to ask you about the Surface Connect port. In your B-roll, it shows the power cord connecting to the Surface Connect port, and the location is just above the middle of the right side of the display. My question is, did you find this to be annoying, or get in the way, when it's just used for power supply? Second question, when you have a dock connected to the port, then you're more firmly anchored to your desk, and you need the cord plugged in to stay connected to storage drives or other things, you can still move the screen to different angles, but does it start to get in your line of sight and be annoying? Wouldn't it be better to have the port at the bottom edge of one side of the screen (in landscape)? (Compare this to the iPad with the Apple keyboard case, you can plug in to power and docks using the USB C port in the hinge of the keyboard rather than the USB C port on the edge of the display). :: Yes I know I'm being OCD about this, but did you find the cord getting in the way or the cord being visually distracting while using the screen? Thanks for your help! :)

right-click on your desktop and choose display settings. i'm going to give my recommended settings. turn off hdr first. set color profile to Vivid. click on brightness and turn off "change brightness automatically". turn off "change brightness based on content". turn off adaptive color.
I bought the 11 OLED after watching this review and many others. Slick hardware overall, but I have to agree with the concerns regarding the screen, and being able to see the digitizer layer or some sort of other screening effect that makes anything with a white or off-white background look muddy. I also have the Lenovo Slim 7x which has an OLED and an iPad Pro OLED, and I do not get nearly the same effect with either of those. I wonder if the issue only affects some Pro 11 OLED units? I'm going to reach out to Microsoft, but imagine I may end up returning it because I find it so distracting if they don't offer a replacement.

Nice honest review. I bought the elite version as my Samsung S9 Ultra is just too big.
