Gingka had a legendary bey which is stated to be stronger than L-Drago so it kinda makes sense why he’s able to just overpower so many people, cause Ryuga does that a lot too, but the main difference being Gingka never worked that hard for his power until Metal Fury. Also in Metal Masters someone said the reason Kyoya tied was because he accidentally put too much pressure on Pegasus and activated its special gimmick with the rubber spiked performance tip which I thought was a cool idea
I feel if gingka could have trained himself better in metal masters he could have defeated or keep atleast draw with ryuga ,galaxy Pegasus is unstoppable bruh😭

Personally, I think Kyoya has the most realistic W/L ratio out of all the cast. He doesn't win that much like Ginka But he doesn"t lose that much either like Masamune And just like Kenta, then both showcase that hardwork and effort pays of I remember the author saying something along the lines of "Nobody is strong enough to not be beaten at times and nobody is weak enough to not win at times' when asked who could defeat Ryuga. I wish Kyoya vs Ryuga 1 were written a bit differently. My version would be: L-Drago never intervenes (in the battle), Kyoya and Ryuga clash for what seems to be the final time, both are still spinning, Kyoya uses his new special move, Ryuga loses due to not having enough power for another Dark Move, Kyoya is announced the winner but is very worn out, Ryuga rages, L-Drago starts glowing purple, it teleports into Ryuga’s hand and starts feeding him the Dark Power, Ryuga becomes possessed, then Ryuga re-launches L-Drago and one shots a wobbly Leone despite Kyoya officially winning, and absorbs his power. This could’ve been realistic because even if it played out like this, it proves that only the Bey that possesses the “light of hope” can defeat the Dark Power. It was never just about beating Ryuga/L-Drago in a battle.
Kyoya is the best Metal Fight Beyblade character, and you summed it up perfectly! Kyoya’s training arcs go so hard, no one else’s compares to his (aside from maybe Ryuga’s). his blader spirit is equal to the main character power-of-friendship guy himself, Gingka, however different from Gingka, Kyoya works for and earns everything he gets. the only thing he was ever handed was Leone at a young age. his character development is HUGE, like you said a complete 180 from where he started. and never a boring moment with him either, i always get hype when Kyoya’s on screen! and totally off topic, but i love and admire very much the art in your thumbnails. they always look so well thought out and executed, as well as the video’s themselves. and so nice to see genuine character analysis Beyblade content a DECADE later. thank you for making these Beyblade videos, they are much appreciated

I just wanna point out that in order to give Kyoya his satisfactory get back against gingka by beating the other legendary bladers, they had to off Ryuga so there wouldn’t be any questions as to how he beat everyone else
I was going to welcome this man aboard. Then I saw how someone stood up for Chris. He kind of lacks personality and King has diverse interactions with Masamune and the rest of the gang. I like Chris for the same reason I appreciate Selene Garcia, character inclusion.

He feels kind of like Piccolo to me in that both do evil due to being tied to something related to people's evil nature before standing against a common enemy with the heroes and training a young hero, bringing out their crszy potential. Jiren is a loyal man to his team seeking merely to bring his mentor back whereas Chris was essentially an exile who took to being a hired gun to survive and has been forsaken by his team. Yuki is a friendliness astronomer trying to guide others to fulfill a grand destiny while realizing he's a part of it. Gohan is Goku's son who gets to bring out great potential as a result of his hybrid nature but likes to take breaks from martial arts for a normal life. Tsubasa is a double agent trying to get stronger without understanding friendship whereas Piccolo is the evil side of a powerful alien seen by some as a deity who gave birth to his reincarnation who got a redemption Arc. I don't know about Hit and Dynamis. But there's some great ones like the Chaotzu, Tien, Goten, and Bulma comparisons. Rago and Zamasu works. Both feel the current order of their scope (Rago the world and Zamasu the Multiverse) is wrong and wish to fix it through destruction. Coincidentally, both remain as threats after an attempt to seal them fails.

imma be honest, if it wasnt about spinning tops, this show would've been actually really good and well made. More people would have liked and watched it, would've had way more hype. Bothered to rewatch/ catch up, was actually good after I got past the tops.
I personally don't feel the spinning tops should be a detractor. Yes, its very strange that these spinning tops are capable of all this but many toy based anime/shows are over the top conceptually. And regardless of whether people would be more likely to (re)watch, I still think its good and really well made with the spinning tops.

The stadium where the fight took place, people go there to see the tiny tops hit eachother, till they use special moves. Kenta benched like 300 lbs to train the body or something. There was so much ridiculousness in it lol. A flyng city going down, because of a top. Then there is how much power these tops actually had. There were the voices too, which I eventually got annoyed of. Edit: right, they were yelling as if they were going super saiyan and about to start punching each other and were taking damage without hitting each other. Due to blader spirit. Even Yu-Gi-Oh was less ridiculous, they didn't take damage till they got tossed around or their soul was being targeted by the shadow games. They weren't just yelling and standing there all the time. They still tried using actual weapons. It was about strategizing, but Yugi top decking, luck hacking and saying it's the heart of the cards. Then you find out the cards are sealed monsters of old and even Egyptian gods; it was less ridiculous than this. They went nuts in Beyblade.

In my heart, Kyoya won the finall battle against Gingka, I just wish we were able to see it. Regardless of the outcome of this final battle, one thing that will always be true is the fact that Kyoya was robbed of at least two clear wins in the entire show (that's right Ryuga fanboys, Kyoya deserved to win the battle in Metal Fusion).
Debatable, only because you have to keep this in mind. Kyoya bey Rock Leone was an ordinary bey bought in a store, and was always on par With Pegasus, and L Drago which btw is legendary and came from space. However, yet Kyoya never needed the huge plot amour that both Ryuga and Gingka had and he actually has skill and talent and can battle strategic unlike the other two. He's by far the most talented out of the three. Always has been.

Ryuga defeated gingka and kyoya twice (fusion was plot but fury was pure skill and strength) defeated tsubasa with ease, defeated Kenta who forced gingka to go all out, defeated King, was defeating chris untill plot kicked in, forced a god to go all out against him and actually made the god fear him for a while and even after all that, he got back up and passed on his legacy to Kenta so that he could defeat nemesis. Ryuga is a GOAT
