July 11,1991 I saw the best partial eclipse from Tucson Arizona. Then I saw my first totality August 21,2017 from Idaho Falls that I waited 33 years for. Already making plans to go see my next totality from Dallas Texas in April 8,2024

The 1991 eclipse was the best ever. Almost 7 mins of totality with almost no cloud cover. I can never see anything like that again I guess. I wish I could make it to Luxor in 2027 for the 6mins 30 secs of totality and no cloud cover.

Great video. I remember this eclipse very well. Those where days of hope.

I saw the eclipse from the north bank of the lago de Cuitzeo. My two friends and I were the only people there and there were no clouds nearby. Lake effect. The white rental car was covered with sleeping bees, flies, and dragonflies.

I was in Guadalajara Mexico on this date. I remember when totality hit it got so dark roosters started to crow thinking it was daybreak again lol

My mom said the same thing lol. She was in Guanajuato Mexico. Everyone went inside because they thought it would affect them. They lived in a really small rancho so people did not know what it was.

We were on a cruise ship off of Mazatlan southeast of you and had to go out to sea to find a hole in the clouds. The captain found us a spot to see the whole eclipse. It was a close call.

Headed to Mazatlán to watch next month. Hoping for no clouds! Tried to book a cruise but sadly waited too long and they were sold out. Can't wait for my wife to see what I saw in 2017 in Wyoming. I haven't stopped talking about it in 6 years 😅 Hopefully she will soon understand why :)
