As a former army medic and a preacher of the gospel, my husband says it’s a privilege and a thrill to learn from a true grill master. We thank you for the respect you show the flag and to vets. Thank you for being willing to share your cooking skills with us earnest learners. God bless and we’ll see you on the Calvary trail!
We thank you for your service and what you do for others, God bless you

Uuuggghhh-Rahhh Amigo!🤠
Hooah!
The mice add to the authentic cafe du monde experience. Great video!
The beignets look delicious. But my favorite part of the video was the adventures of Major. He's a good pup.
I think Kent is awfully fond of him too. He's a good boy and he might just be daddy's favorite :D
He is something that is for sure
My mom used to get Beignets filled with custard and coated with powder sugar!!! They were the bomb!!! I crave them all the time when I think of my mom.
Sounds good it does
Shame that you didn't learn how!
That sounds divine mmmm!!!
Some moms don't want to teach their children anything in fact my grandma my moms mom was like that she would boot all her kids out of the kitchen so as a adult my mom had to self teach herself everything@@rosemarywalczak1681
I should be watching these to learn how to cook, but I really just watch them for the wholesome little dance he does at the end of his videos
Glad to hear that you are doing bonus videos, Kent and Shannon once a week is just not enough.
:] *HUGGGGSSS*
We thank you all for watching
In the southern part of Germany, we call them „Fastnachtsküchlen“ and I think that’s beautiful 😊
Yeah, the Germans in Timmins ON Canada call them that also.
I just call them "tasty".
A longer word would make me wait longer before I could finish ordering one at the shop.
All those extra letters get in the way. 😀
Lordy I bet those are deeeelicious🤤God bless you Cowboy Kent🕊️🙏🤍
Maj earning his keep today. God bless you and your family Ken.
He is trying, God bless you
My grandmother used to make those but we called them German donuts. My grandfather was German and taught my Irish grandmother how to cook. I loved them! I haven't had them for years...
Was just thinking, looks like a simple powderd sugar covered donuts.
@@88WhiteRhino yea, Now I'm really hungry for them!
I have made beignets many times, both from scratch and using the mix. I have also had them years ago in New Orleans, but also often at Disneyland getting their wonderful Mickey Mouse shaped beignets. yum!
You are an amazing person. You bring cultures together with each video you make. You're a true American treasure, sir!
Oh man! Kent I have been following you for about three years, have one of your cookbooks, make, use and love some of your spices and use your recipes! Except I always cool em down because I am not quite as fond of those jala- ma - penos as you are! But every time I watch one of your videos I not only learn something, I have a great time doin it! God bless ya buddy! Keep those wonderful recipes and videos coming! You are a one of a kind, and treat your sweet Camara lady like the queen she is!
I am SO glad you are back!!! You, Shan and the pups are So much a part of our weekly check-ins!!! Just wanted to let y’all know how much ❤ you mean to your many fans!!! Big hugs! ❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉 🕺🙏🇺🇸
Good to see you're both well. Those beignets looks delicious. Thanks to you we bought a big Dutch oven so my next cook will be those little wonders ...
As a young man growing up in rural France in the 80's we usually had them as a treat for "Mardi-Gras" or... "Fat Tuesday"!!! Many great memories, making costumes for carnival in a village of a few hundred people and eating beignets all day long...
Anyway, keep well, take care of yourselves.
Sounds like a great time
Those look like GREAT beignets! And I loved the "mouse house" clip. Go Maj!

Beignets are a great go to for a coffee meeting and are appreciated by all! Great recipe Kent! You can buy a mix in a box but WHY? If you have sourdough starter, even better.. Cafe du Monde is my go coffee spot when I get to New Orleans.

It tickles me to hear Kent say, "chunk it out." I was raised in Delaware and I thought that was the only place that used that phrase.

Good Afternoon My Good Bro Kent Rollins The Cooking 🍳 Cowboy 🤠
Howdy
Sitting on the river at the cafe DuMonde. Sipping coffee and chicory, and eating those lovely pastries. Then off to Pat O'Briens for a hurricane.
Good times for sure
I was waiting for you this turned to the spoon
We was just talking about them and some great coffee
Pair well together they do
I can't keep up with all of your recipes, Kent - and I have your book, too. But every once in awhile when I get the chance, I try one, and they never disappoint. I made these for Easter breakfast today, in peanut oil, and they turned out perfect - so good I even gave the dog a couple bites! One of my sons ate an even dozen. Lotta people want to fill them, but I think the taste stands on its own, with some plain old powdered sugar. God Bless!
Hello from Sacramento CA, just had me some of Those last week.
Howdy
Two of those and a cup of Sumatra I'd be ready to ride...Thanks A Bushel.
Our pleasure
Sure enjoyed this video! The squatters were interesting. The mouse dog brought intrigue. Keep practicing with him Kent. Shannon made the scene intense & humorous (Loved those screams. I would do the same). The donuts looked wonderful. Thanks for the blessings. Love & hugs to your whole crew. Until next time Happy Trails!
Thanks Lucy I have told the Major he needs pracitice
Thank you Cowboy Kent for another great video. 🤠👍Hello from San Francisco California. 🌁🌁🌁🏙🌃
Howdy, we thank you for watching
Droolin!
I used to always make these for my husband and I when we were stationed in germany together. Been thinking about making them again lately, so this must be my sign to get cooking tonight!
Came across your channel several months back and have watched many, many of your videos. Your McDonald's fries are one of our favorite. I was watching and wife heard most of it. Not realizing she was paying attention. A few days later she asked what that fry video was. So i bought her a cutter and she has made at least 8 batches since the video came out. She makes the first cook them freezes. And 2nd cook as we need them. Keep up the great work. Love your videos
I’m going to have to try this out! Looks delicious 😋
Hope you enjoy
Kent and family have a great day have fun happy Valentine's day yummy thanks from Oklahoma
We thank you as you as well
I'm amazed at how you do it all. I am a griller and Dutch oven fan myself. I cook a lot outside when the weather is good. I just ordered great things to Germany and I'm looking forward to it
They look so good thank you for sharing.
We thank you for watching
Those look so good. I think I will go get a snack 😋
Another very interesting video Thank you Kent
Hello, here's something my sister and I found that keeps the mouses away. Peppermint oil. Not extract, that just gets them drunk. The oil in tiny plastic shot type glasses in you wagon box will keep them away. It smells nice and no poison. Just a thought.
Thank you for your recipes and videos.☺
Love it. Osbon.
I made some of these after watching The Princess and The Frog with my kids.
Gotta love that chicory coffee
Shannon's laugh!
Love to hear it i do
My first time watching. So funny and educational
Thanks for joining us
Thanks for sharing 👍
