I love the fit of the pieces and this team definitely has the potential to be a perennial playoff team for the next 5 plus years.. need to see more to say they have an OKCs potential as a future contender though unless they can trade for or develop an allstar guard.
I was wrong about Udoka and the Rockets, I did not see them playing this well
It Seem’s that Udoka has unlocked Alperen Sengun and Jabari’s game . Both of them are match up problems for opposing defenses. Hoping that Jalen Green finds his niche as well in this offense. The young rockets have great upside. They are starting to look like a playoff caliber team.
I really want green to find his improvement but man he his is insane to see two young players playing this well I’m really happy to be a rockets fan rn

Smith and sengun are coming into their own now just need green to start showing his potential
It’s clear that Jabari is better than Jalen right now and he’s been shooting great this season but he has less than 10 field goals attempts so once Fred Van Vleet starts passing to him it’s gonna be better. Against Pelican both FVV and Dillons didn’t even score 10pts and Jalen had 5 pt but they were able to beat them just by Sengun and Jabari.
Bari j started the season with very little confidence. The difference between him at the beginning of the season and now is night and day. His shot attempts will only go up from here

He is also a good defender if needed.
His midrange game is nearly unstoppable at this point and still improving.

I don’t think Jabari is a bad defender, but I wouldn’t say he’s a good defender just yet. He has potential to be a GREAT defender, but right now he lets a lot of guys slip by him and just plays for the recovery with his athleticism and length kinda like Lebron. I think a big part of why he looks good on defense that is he’s just so long and difficult to shoot over so he gets a lot of blocks
@@Mint.Conditionedthat’s what makes him a good defender though same as Bron, if I can chase you down and slap your shot down I don’t have to expend as much energy chasing you around the perimeter. He doesn’t have to rely on 100% skill on defense like a smaller defender does because his natural gifts cover almost every mistake he makes
@@is.that.Mazzi. I hear you, I just don’t think that makes someone a good defender simply because aging a few years or an injuring can strip all of that away. Lebron is the exception, not the rule. Relying on athleticism doesn’t age well, especially on defense
Jabari was my favorite since day he got drafted I could see the potential he had. He’s the reason I went to my first live rockets game last year. Even tho they only one game the whole season at that point. It was in November vs the mavs we had like 19 block shots

Once Jabari developed his mid range, he will be hard to stop. His defense was a liability at the beginning of the season, he is now an important piece of Rocket’s defense.

Jalen might be scary for the 6th man role for now. Id like to put thompson on that starting line up but therell be way too much playmaking with him, fred, and alpie. An off ball athletic finisher might be a great fit for the starting wing and have jalen get into his groove in the second unit.
Cam whitemore/Tari needs to start
Lowkey could see green turning into a Jordan Clarkson esque player for us in the future. It would be silly for us to start amen rn though. Let him and whitmore develop rn, learning from the vets. Jalen fits more naturally into the starting lineup, but I’m really high on cam and I think he’ll take his spot. Amen will get his chance once Freddy is gone. He’ll most likely only be here through the next season

It's not Smith or Sengun or Eason we're concerned of. It's Jalen Green. He's not shooting well. Sadako needs to sit down with him each game to review all his action on the floor and how to correct or improve.
