      If you put a Wilson Combat 365 XL lower body, Holosun 507k red dot optic, and use 12 round mags, you have a great concealed carry gun with amazing accuracy and capacity.

    I find it amusing how all of these micro pistols, which really make perfect pocket pistols, are all optics ready....therefor defeating the "micro" dimensions.

    I bought a P365-380 on December 1st. The first 10 rounds I fired all jamed. I called Sig Sauer and was told that jams were "a common problem", and that after I gave it a good cleaning and lubrication, and after firing 100 to 200 rounds, "the problem should go away". I have cleaned/lubricated it twice, fired 200 rounds, and still get frequent jams. I have purchased a number of guns in my 72 years, and this is the only one that did not fire first time, every time right out of the box. For Sig Sauer to ship guns that they know will have a high probably of problems is unforgivable.

    I recently went to my local range and shot the P365XL and the Glock 19 (gen. 5). While I was there, I noticed that they had a regular P365 9mm for sale and asked to take a closer look. While I liked almost everything about it, I quickly found that I could not rack the slide of the P365 no matter which method I used, despite being able to rack the XL and the G19 with relative ease (I can also rack a Ruger Security-9 without much trouble). Is the .380 version easy enough to rack to be worth considering, or should I just stick with the XL?

    …and the winner for compact concealable handguns is….. Glock 26.

    • @luckymanham302
      @luckymanham302 8 месяцев назад

      😂 sure. A 2x4 with a bad trigger, plastic sights, no rail which means no light for identifying any potential attackers in a self defense situation at nighttime and a few other reasons why it’s a lackluster choice is the “winner” to you? 😂

    • @colt10mmsecurity68
      @colt10mmsecurity68 8 месяцев назад

      @@luckymanham302 My Glocks come from the factory with metal sights. If yours comes only with plastic, that’s because your FFL ordered them that way. It’s like the “base” model of a car. Order one with all metal or night sights and it’s not an issue. Point two: the trigger works fine. If I put the barrel in your pet zombie’s mouth and pull the trigger, I’ll bet that trigger would work nicely. Point three: a light on a small gun like that is so needlessly pointless. It’s way over rated, unless you’re a cop and you’re clearing blacked out businesses on a nightly basis. Then again you wouldn’t be doing that with a small G26. For the average Joe, you’ll never need a weapon mounted light on a compact firearm and for your day to day planning. Point four: I’d rather bring a “2x4” sized grip to an all-out, drag-out gun fight, than your tiny little “popsicle” like, child’s toy of a grip. I guess only some of us were born with man hands. See if you can get a refund bro, because I’d say you got jipped.

      @@colt10mmsecurity68 all hopped up on Glock propaganda I see. By default, any trigger that works, obviously “works”. Dumb statement. I guess you live in Alaska where there’s 24 hours of straight sunlight. Where I live in the mountains, it gets dark quite early (4pm) in winter, and stays dark until about 7 am. I’m not a hermit, so a light is absolutely useful on “a small gun”. I own plenty of pistols, from a tiny Ruger LCP II all the way to 5” barreled semiautos. Who said anything about not being able to grip a pistol due to hand size? Just because I don’t appreciate a pistol with the ergonomics of a block of wood, and is twice the size of micro compacts yet has less capacity than a micro compact doesn’t mean anything other than I don’t want a pistol from 38 years ago, especially when there are so many better options on the market. Colt makes overpriced crap by the way, and is the choice of out of touch Fudds. Enjoy your fat stubby little plastic Glock.

      Can get a Sig P365 380 Academy Sport for 499 and the Ruger LCP Max is 399, so where do you get 2 times the price for a Sig???? BTW,, all the real range shooting that I have seen, the P365 shoots very flat, the Ruger is not bad.......I'm torn between the 2 but need to find a good source of 380 as it is hard to find in bulk these days...........the Ruger is more a pocket gun for sure, a very important thing if you have to carry all day and extended hours, and need to be comfortable, so i see your point on the Ruger over the Sig.......

      @@josephklimchock5412 you shouldn't be paying any more then $300 to around $335 for a LCP Max I bought mine for $320 and I did compare it in great detail to a Sig version and I could see it was better in just about every way, including the price... This was my experience... I pocket carry my LCP Max just about every day, and have shot over 500 rounds through it and have never had a problem feeding any .380 ammo, I use the 12 round mags...

      I sold my LCP Max to a friend, and purchased a Sig 365 380 acp and added a Wilson Combat grip. My principal complaint against the LCP Max is accuracy. I'm much more proficient with a 3.1 inch barrel on the Sig. To each their own I suppose.

    • @awelder4040
      @awelder4040 Год назад +2

      @@jayp4114 You do realize that the LCP Max was designed to be a true POCKET class gun and not a compact carry size gun, so the distance you should be engaging a target with pocket carry is about 10FT to 12FT... The Sig .380 is not a good pocket class gun it is to big and is to heavy for a pocket... and as for a compact carry gun there are many other better compact carry options then a small .380 caliber... pocket class and compact carry are 2 totally different handgun carry options... :)

      @@josephklimchock5412 well, $399 is a bit much for a LCP max I know a few people who bought there's for around $330... I personally only payed $310 for mine... and then bought 2 12round mags for it...thee LCP max is a true pocket class gun... The Sig version .380 is not a good pocket class gun because it is just big enough and a little to heavy to be carried in the pocket with any comfort... there is a real difference... its not just size but its also weight... I personally carry a Springfield Armory .45 XDS as a my carry gun and the LCP max is just for pocket carry in a pocket holster...
