Tracy, OMG girl Im laughing so hard I damn near peed my PJs!!! Its 2:30 am and Im rolling on the floor. You always tickle my bones LOL. Love the kid being told to knock himself out!!! I used to tell that to mine all the time LOL WHO doesn't love Tom Jones??? Back in the day he was a hot item!! Never gonna fall in love again!!! Im so happy you are feeling so much better now! You crack me up with the accents! 😂 Our accent in Louisiana is part French and part Southern. My parents had to learn English in school. I've been away for so long I've lost my accent. Canada has a multitude of accents, even from one city to the next, but especially from the West coast to the East coast. I've been asked if im from Newfoundland, though, because I pick up accents from movies and can't shake them. America is the same. Like your England has areas, and what you were saying about Ireland. You did well, though. It was just so weird to hear you talk like that! As for immersing yourself in the accent, Gillian Anderson went over there to do Margaret Thatcher in a movie, and has kept the "general" English accent. Thanks for the giggles 😃. ✌️🇨🇦🤘

Hi, Tracy, I know exactly where you are coming from about England, those from Wales are allowed to be Welsh, from Ireland are Irish, from Scotland are Scottish, BUT we have to be British!!! It's the same as politics, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, all have their own parliament, BUT our parliament is the UK parliament. When I lived abroad, the locals would just ask tourists if they were English when they heard them speaking English and god forbid if the person was Scottish, they would roar at them saying 'NO! I am Scottish!!' Sorry for the rant, I could say more, but I wont, it really is my biggest pet peeve 😆😆😆 xxx
i know it is a weird one isnt it. I think for one small land mass and collection of land masses to be all these different countries is crazy, especially for sport, imagine the superteam we would have if it was team GB rather than the little bits of land we all hail from. But everyone cherishes their own identity and so its that way. It probably dates back to all those invasions through history and settling in areas. blimey this is getting deep, i am going to go think about fluffy kittens before my female brain explodes... (bonus points if you know where that quote came from?)

I went to a youth conference when I was 18 and my roommate was from Tennessee! I came home with a southern accent then traveled off to Kansas an went home for Christmas with a Midwest accent!
