As you will see from the temporary Thumbnail I thought it would be nice to bring you guys some giveaways!!! Yep - the exact guitar in the video will be given away to ONE lucky winner - to be announced after the deadline of April 30th.
If you would like to win this guitar just answer the following question.
How many times was the film "cut". As you know my editing skills are non existent so the cuts are all pretty obvious! lol
Nearest to the correct answer wins the guitar. In the event of there being more than one correct answer I will pick the winner at random.
DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWER IN PUBLIC (IE in the comments) . You will be disqualified. Also - if I find your answer on any forums etc!

For those of you waiting for your tuitional video - apologies but technical issues have delayed this slightly - but they are coming!
The good news is by doing the videos it highlighted the fact that since introducing D'Angelico last year I havent personally focused on them due to my ramblings on all my other lovely guitars.
The series that keeps pulling my back time and time again are the Premier series whch are just UNBELIEVABLE at the price - very unique instruments - incredibly highly qualty - versatile and very much my "cup of tea" stylistically.
So at least my tech failings enabled me the time to briefly bring you this overview of the Premier Brighton.

Just got the exact same guitar. It is an amazing instrument. I compared it to several others (more expensive ones) and for me this one just blew them all away.

Good to see you covering these Richard. I’ve looked at them several times, quality seems great and the Art Deco detailing helps them stand out from the mainstream brands.

Looks really nice. Love the way the neck is fitted to the body. And the sound is wow - that sweet and warm neck pickup ist just for me...! Am I entering the competition? Of course, I am!!!

10 edit breaks. That neck joint reminds me of the Epiphone spotlight nuevo I had in the late 80’s. Bridge floated badly, glad this on is a fixed bridge. Was buying a Paul Thursday, but would much rather win this one. That beast is made to play the blues!

WOW! That sounds awesome! I’ve never looked at these guitars but to my ears, they sound amazing. Great versatility of sounds. Quite mellow and funky. Like it.

What a beautiful looking guitar! It's got a very 60s' vibe to the sound. And that is a very good thing in my book! Where does the 'Brighton' come into it?

What an amazing sound that guitar has!
I am a bit of a sucker for classic black guitars and this one pops. Love that headstock and the angled cut of on the paint joining the body and neck. Range of tones from those Semore (designed) pickups are spot on for me. More a bluesy player than jazz but the Brighton seems to do it all including sexy rock tones. What was the amp you were using Richard?
In general, I really like the art deco appeal of D'Angelico guitars. They spread similar vibes as Duesenbergs. But this particular guitar reminds me more of a Yamaha Pacifica 311h (despite the slightly different pickup configuration). Maybe that's why I actually did count the cuts and though won't participate. Although, ... It would be great to see how the guitar compares to a Gretsch G5222. And I'd really love to see some of the Archtops in your videos.

The neck joining seems pretty unique, and the sound is pretty sweet, but what is that beautiful orange model in the background?
