I bought one of the 12 gauges with a 28 inch fixed modified barrel and it didnt have rib vent. I like your version a lot better. I like the rib vent and removable chokes and the fiber optic sight on yours. I feel like i got ripped. I ordered it on the internet through sportsmans warehouse and i guess i ordered the wrong one. The very first slug i put through it was a 2 3/4 inch winchester super x and it popped the bead out and ripped the gun outta my hand and i was holding that bad boy hard to. Only federal mini slugs for me from now on. Also mine didnt come with the optic rail. The mount holes are on the gun so i tried to order one and cant find one in the whole country. American tactical doesnt even have one in stock. Im not happy with the gun or American tactical. I say go with a charles daily or even better savage stevens 301. Those 301 are way better quality but double the price. I still may buy one of those charles dailys and sell the nomad i bought.
I own the Nomad 12g 18.5 inch and I love it. It kicks like a mule and if you run regular shells in that bad boy get a slip on butt pad lol. Federal Shorties or Mini Shells work well with less recoil. It only comes with a bead sight but I added a clip on fiber optic and have been trying to get a saddle mount from ATI for over a year lmao. The last email I sent they said they will be in stock around February.
Impressive for 100 bucks, 2 chokes and a fiber sight. I had a Hatfield single shot 12 that shot low just like that one but fixed modified choke. Kicked like a mule.
ATI produces excellent AR 15’s so it would not surprise me that the Nomad is a wonderful single shot shot gun. Inexpensive does not mean cheaply made when it comes to firearms, it means people who are humane to those who work hard and do not get paid proper wages.
I just did a review for my nomad 12 gauge. They are simple and amazing shotguns. I paid all together 115$ which includes background check but can’t beat it for the price.
That's a nicer setup than how mine came. I have the 12GA 18.5" version; doesn't have a vent rib, cylinder bore, brass bead sight, and it didn't come with the rail. Would at least like to find the rail so I can mount a micro red dot
Them things are worthless. The only one that's worth the money would be 1 size down from your shotgun. They shoot decent. All the others are so inconsistent. The adapters move a little every time u reload. Even bore sighting with a red dot isn't consistent enough to be accurate. They are trash in my opinion. Go buy another gun with the 140 dollars that short lane wants for a rifled barrel adapter. I love Dave cantibury but the adapters are garbage.
@@chadanderson2798 I guess you've purchased the cheap off brand ones then ? Short Lanes and Chiappas work flawless and don't slide around. What doesn't work is a bead sight , you need a reflex or a red dot and adapters do the job. Also they need to be rifled and at least 8 inches long.

Solid review! Picked up one of these myself. For $100 it definitely goes bang.

I have one I won't ever use.
Will ya sell it? How much?
@williameberhart3505 Not for sale. I found a 20ga 18.5" ATI Nomad in olive green at OBX Guns in Manteo, NC, a couple days ago
You can make it more interesting with some rifled sub caliber adapters. I have 22lr, 9mm and 357 adapters for my single 20. Many more available.
That does sound intriguing. I may need to get a couple. What brand?

I tried theses adapters in mine the trigger didn't hit hard enough to fire them
I have had mine for 5 years. I have lots of slugs and buckshot
With a Red dot sight, definitely it would take a Turkey!
Treat it appropriately and your grandchildren will use it. Nice gun.
I tried foster type slugs at 40 yards .I'm getting a 6 to 8 inch group, little low (only had 8 shots).
You got to start with the box why don't you just show the gun
My guess? Used gun
I like the way u take a new gun and bang it off the table to make sure its sturdy
