That i was about to mention...but i see that youve notice too ...i still play top spin 4 and there is sweat and dirt on shoes and clothes and as i can see here that wont be implemented for sure ...thats big minus ...

I disagree. I think it looks at least as good as Top Spin 4, gameplay wise. That’s enough for me. Graphically, it’s gotten a huge upgrade from that

Really excited for this game!! Personally, I feel like the timing meter is something you feel while the ball is coming at you and not something yo look at. Because i'll be watching the ball come and decide when to click depening on the speed of the ball. So hopefully we can play with no UHD like it was a normal game on TV.

and you are right, all those game helpers can frustrate you if you dont see "perfect" every balls for example instead of just keeping your focus no matter what. Nothing better that just feel the game
The footwork of the players could be dramatically improved. The are very STATIC before the shots. They just stand there waiting for ball. Real tennis has much more fluidity in the footwork. Specially at the pro level, they never just stand statically, they are constantly moving, and putting the weight of their bodies into the shot.

Grunting is something that I think no one would miss (almost I guess).
I hope we will be able to use mods. If devs don't it someone else will cause I agree the grunts need to be better.
@@vojtasjedynyi agree to a degree but since way worst game franchises have/included them greatly, AO Tennis and Tennis world tour they should really add that it's not like they don't have the rights for some players to do this.

The game retains the great elements of Topspin 4, but has evolved the graphics and other features. This is exactly what I have been looking for after 8 years of playing Topspin 4.
Graphics in new top spin game for me looks great arenas look great yes roster of players could be better but it's still going to be a good or great tennis game. You can tell from all gameplay videos how realistic this tennis game is going to be sounds are good too . Looking forward to when the game comes out .

TS4 came out THIRTEEN years ago. They can do much better than this.
GTA6 has a CLEAR graphical upgrade in comparison to 5. We shouldn’t have to guess. This game feels like a lazily made cash grab.
Ok, don't license Djokovic and Nadal, they will have their reasons for not wanting to be there. But what if you tried a little harder, and licensed other players? They have the licenses for the 4 GS, but what's the point of simulating a Roland Garros, if there are only 7 active players XDD, you can't even make a quarterfinal draw. Finally, if you are not going to introduce two of the three best tennis players of all time, put in guys like Sinner, Zverev, Jarry, Ruud, Tsitsipas. Add a high number of young tennis players that we tennis consumers like. Because no matter how much love we have for Federer and Serena, they are retired right now, and are more expendable than several of the top 50 in the ATP rankings right now.
Job well done 2k sports. The only disappointment for fans is the men roster which doesn't include all 4 pros of The Big Four along with many other seeded pros. Hope 2k will consider them as dlcs or patches

I can tell because I've been playing for a long time, but the players' forms, etc. have remained mostly the same. But the graphics have evolved quite a bit.

That sounds like a disaster to me. It better be using the stick to serve, like in top spin 4. If you changed it to some ridiculous BUTTON PRESSING BS, that’s gonna ruin the whole game for me.
You’ve got to have stick serving. Like TS4 and also World of Tennis: Roaring 20’s. The mobile game(for console also) has the most satisfying serving there is.
Now I’ll have to wait to see what’s gonna happen. Wish you would elaborate on what you have gone and done.
Cuz it better be damn good to leave TS4 serving behind.

Stick service is still in place
You still need to work on a ball speed which is too slow and totally different compared to the real match. Tennis Elbow 4 is better in that way.
That’s because they play bad, when you play in perfect timing ball is fast look at 4:37
@@fernandomagellan6675 Right, those who complain about the ball speed didn't realized that the players are not used to the game control yet. Ball can be very fast and 4:37 is the proof.
@@jespPH9196 Come on, do we need a perfect shot to have the real speed of the ball? We are talking about the normal ball speed and not about the potential winners. Ball speed in “normal” shots between the players in the real life is way faster than this.

It’s been 13 years since the TopSpin 4 was released and now with about a month to go until the game makes its long-awaited return, 2K recently announced its full roster and there are some very glaring omissions. Superstar and tennis legend Novak Djokovic is not included in the upcoming game’s roster.
One of tennis’ biggest draws not being included in the game hasn’t been received well by the fanbase. His absence from the game may look surprising, however the Serb has previously stated his feelings towards video games. “I don’t believe in the product; this isn’t a good use of my time.” According to tennis analyst Jon Wertheim, the 24 grand slam winner “actively repudiates” games.
As for Nadal, while his name hasn’t appeared on the full roster there have been reports to suggest that he may still feature. However, fans shouldn’t get their hopes up as in the past the Spaniard has been heavily advertised for the AO Tennis franchise.
This could suggest that Nadal could have a licensing deal with developer Big Ant Studios which may be the reason why he may end up being absent from 2K25. The current men’s roster is very small. Excluding the Legends roster, there are only seven players from the ATP.

I was worried from other trailers that it just looks exactly like Topspin 4 but from this trailer it definitely is different, there is more power and angles and the serving looks revamped, I love that part where they say errors are more common now because in Topspin 4 I feel that every rally would go beyond 20 shots and half the time the only way to win one was to run in and hit a volley
Why do the players faces look so bad? Like a 2012 game. And why do they stand still at the exact correct spot waiting for the ball?

The gameplay looks good and I don't have complaints about the graphics either. I was a major fan of Top Spin 4 and I'm very interesting in this game...
But if the player roster is only 25 players at launch and every single added player after that costs real money...Well then you can stick your game where the sun does not shine. 70 euros for a game with 25 real players would be ludicrous. Make the roster at launch around 35-40 players atleast and I'm buying and possibly buying even some DLC later...

1. The next upgrade of tennis should influence wind factor, we as a tennis player know how important is the wind factor. Based on the wind speed, just like golf how the ball swings and when you a play shots you must consider the wind speed and direction. It would be cool to have those feature in the upcoming game.
2. Home and Away games, if you are playing at home, the crowd cheers for you or if you are popular and fan favourite, the crowd cheers more for you and some kind of added pressure to play shots.

there ist no skill gap if you only hold the button for timin. in top spin 4 we had a two type to hit the ball, 1. power strike 2. precise strike

for me, the only real problem in sport games is this little sliding, like Federer did on 3:37. In real life, when the player firmly puts their support foot on the ground, he MUST be static on the right place. I think it happens to compensate the entire movement, and I don't blame you for it, it happens on EAFC and so on.
BTW, loving the game content and specially this video, really excited to play.
Looks impressive definitely will be purchasing.. Hopefully more pros will be added before launch or an indication of what's to come was hoping to see Wimbledon with dirt patches

Personally, I don't particularly want more real players (although it would always be better) if there is a nice online mode in which you can play your character against others...

This looks legit…my only question and huge concern is how they’re gonna handle career mode…I’d prefer it more like a big update from topspin 4’s..If it’s like nba 2k I don’t know how that will work…maybe they’ll do something completely new and hit it out the park…hopefully we get a video explaining it.

I was super excited when this was announced. I put a lot of time into TopSpin 4 (and Virtua Tennis 3) back in the day.
That being said…this is not a new game. It’s Topspin 4.5 at best. If you told me this was a 360 or PS3 title, I’d believe you. Player models look wildly dated. The animations look just as janky and erratic as they did in TS4. But hey, at least we don’t have Roger using a pinpoint serve animation anymore!

The matches will last hours if every point end as 30 shot marathons lol. It's extremely hard to hit winners in this game. Full Ace Tennis is still the best tennis sim. This is a joke.
