Something underrated about Kawhi's Legacy is that he's the ONLY player in the 2010s (and probably only player period maybe besides Magic Johnson in the 80s idr) to stop 2 SEPARATE 3 peats. Stopped the Big 3 Miami Heat in 2014 and then the Dynasty warriors in 2019. The 2010s as a decade of basketball can't be mentioned without Kawhi Leonard, and that can never be taken away from him.

As for the intervening years since 2019, he is absolutely at fault for where the Clippers are now, since they mortgaged everything to get Paul George, which was Kawhi's requirement for signing there and now they're left with nothing to show for it. Hot take: Zaza Pachulia got/gets way too much blame for Kawhi's sprained ankle. He's been accused of intentionally undercutting Kawhi in that game for the longest time now, and there is no proof that he actually did it on purpose. Hell, it's mostly Spurs fans or Warriors haters who make that claim to support their belief that the Spurs would've beaten the Warriors in 2017, of which there is almost no proof of anyway. As great as a healthy Kawhi is, his best was not going to be enough to take down that team. Even when he did "end the Warriors' dynasty", it was not even because of him mainly; it was injuries.

about time NBA introducing requirements for players need to play to get their checks.
the fact that Klay got away eating max contract for 2 years while he's injured and then demand another max after really shows players don't give a flying F about their team and their fans that came to watch them play. if they can sit 90% of the games, so be it. it needs to change, NOW.

    Robbed?
He finnesed the spurs, got his feelings hurt when Manu called him out, went to the east which is weak, remember people have been saying that since lebron had been there, played an all hurt golden state team, finnesed the clippers. Blew a 3-1 lead in the playoffs for there best chance to win a championship cause you know without that break Kwahi would not have played all those games. Played 60+ games last season to finnese the clippers AGAIN, just to not play this season?
