At the end of the movie there should be a final battle where Harold cannot defeat the world ending villain, so instead he decides to draw a singularity to create a new big bang and restart the universe and that's how it ends.

I also liked the part where the mom played Rhapsody Rabbit on the piano, that was also kinda cool…
