Robert! My boyfriend is a cook at The Floridian and we are just thrilled that you enjoyed it so much! So happy you enjoyed your stay in our little town
Sharon Pikarski A trolley tour in the morning and The Floridian for lunch? Sounds like you did your vacation right haha! 😊 I still love the tours even after all the years of living here, so I’m glad you had such an excellent time and that The Floridian could be a part of it!
No better way to wake up on this beautiful Sunday morning to our favorite location in the great state of Florida. Robert, coffee, and St. Augustine Priceless!
St. Augustine, my favorite city in Florida. I have so many wonderful memories made in that city. Hopefully, one day soon, I'll be able to return. Thank you, Robert, for this gem. Your videos are a great way to start the day.
Robert I want to thank you so much for your videos, I’m a poor man that lives in northern Virginia, My wife is battling cancer so all our money goes into her treatments , ever since I was a young fellow I always wanted to travel the country and see what it has to offer , but thanks to you and ur great videos I can do that without leaving my house. Thank you so much and keep the videos coming brother , God bless u
I just have to say again, that I have really come to appreciate the tours you give us by sharing your RV adventures. I can confidently say that I will NEVER get to 99% of these places, so it's really great to get to see it even if on RUclips. Thank you!
St.Augie is one of my favorite cities. Love the history and something to do for the entire family. The fort grounds was a golf course around the beginning of the 20th century, the ghost tour is the best one I have been on, and the movie "The house of wax" starring Vincent Price was filmed in the building close to the bridge of lions. I could go on, but you captured the oldest city nicely! Thanks for sharing!
Amazing old architecture and in such great condition. One could spend all day just taking in the sites and exploring all the history. Thank you Robert for the great video. I was surprised how many people were going around without a mask though. Stay safe!
"I drank from the fountain of youth years back but it didn't really work". 😂😂😂😂. You are good looking on the inside and outside Robert. Keep up the great work. Your videos are really cool. 🔥🔥🔥🔥👍🏾
Roberto ~ Muchas Gracias mi Amigo!! This fabulous trip to St Augustine was beautifully shown and narration was so enchanting. Just loved every minute of it. Really felt like I was there. Appreciate all You do and how awesome your videos are. Can't wait to see where we head to next! Thank You Robert Very nice, well done!!
Great episode. At 30:35 you're passing the St. Augustine Pirate and Treasure Museum on the left, which has an incredible display of artifacts from the old pirate days in the area.I could have spent a whole day in there.
I've been to St Augustine a few times and, as is true with many other places you've chronicled that I too have visited, I'm amazed at how much I missed! Even with those parts that I HAVE seen, I didn't see them the way you presented them. What a great production job! These have quickly become my favorite travel videos, Traveling Robert!
Did a three day visit to St. Augustine earlier this year with our tear drop. Loved the historic downtown area. The best way to get around and learn about the city is to take the trolley tour. We purchased two-day tickets and it was great. Jump on and off when you want. Very informative staff. We have a Service Dog and the trolley drivers could not have been more helpful. We visited before the Spring Break crowds so walking around was pleasant. Had such a great time, we plan to visit again.
You show shot of all the lit' crabs...It's been 40+ yrs since I left Miami. The bridge heading to Biscayne we'd go over to get a dose of sand & salt. There was a place on North side (left turn) along the channel that we would stop to explore occasionally. Lit' crabs were all over amid the mangrove sands.
It’s like hanging out with an old friend watching your videos. Went to Prohibition Kitchen last year on one of our day trips. You got me excited to go back to St. Augustine and see some new things. Great video as always!
Very relaxing Sunday morning trip with you. As always, a great production with all the ingredients of editing, music, video, and description. Continue to have fun and be safe.
Going there in 2 days. Couldn't think of a better person to show us around before we even get there! I had a friend from high school who moved from our tiny NY town to St Augustine around 1992 and stayed there for about 6 years. In 30 years I still haven't seen the place myself! I guess the time is ripe. We'll fly to Tampa and then drive across to the Atlantic. My wife likes Clearwater beach so it looks like we'll spend time on both coasts.
My wife and I watch all of your videos, and really enjoy them. It’s got to be an ongoing joke, that we can’t get your theme song out of our head. “I’m riding in my Rv” is becoming our “everyday song” at our home in Lakeland. Got to say hello last year at Tampa, and would like to go to a “meet and greet” when things get back to normal. Great “Hook Song”. Thanks for your great videos. Dan and Cindy
Fantastic job! Have been to St. Augustine a few times and have made movies of it, but nothing like you've done. Narration & explanations were superb as well as the Go-Pro videos.
I live here. I'm over it though. Too hot. I grew up in St Augustine and being in the extreme muggy heat is exhausting. I'd like to do some travelling like you someday and go up north, but I can see it beautiful and appealing for people who don't live here. To be honest, the most beautiful time to see this town is between November-Early May because it's nice cool and absolutely gorgeous then it's hot humid and miserable. September is the worst month to be in Florida because of the humidity and the peak of hurricane season. I like cooler and cold climates I guess. I found your channel by watching your Ontario road trip video. Anywhere in Canada is where I want to visit or the Northeast or Northwest. Have fun on your travels
@@gersonmatos1251 It's a small downtown core. Parking does suck and the price to park is overpriced like everything else here haha. But St Augustine Beach and Vilano Beach is kind of too far to walk so I would uber or taxi around if you stay downtown. But there's some hotels/motels on Anastasia Blvd across the bridge of lions outside of downtown and you could probably stay there and be walking distance from downtown with hotel parking so you can easily drive south on Anastasia Blvd to a1a to St Augustine Beach and it will be somewhat cheaper/less stressful as far as parking is concerned than staying in anything around the San Marco/St George Street downtown bayfront area.
If i was a tourist i would have a hotel on anastasia island and just walk across the bridge downtown. Keep your car parked at the hotel and walk down the sidewalk.
And I'm in freezing cold MI, most of the year. We have 2-3 months of warm weather. No spring. I would love to live in the south, hot weather. We have had a rare summer with hot weather here and I loved it. Thanks for the videos Robert.
We owned a condotel at the Romantic Camachee Inn, after spending so many anniversaries in room 19 with a spa tub. The Kingfish restaurant on site, is one of our favorites, and the view of the Marina and yachts, aaaah!!! We live 30 minutes from there. Now our daughter owns it, but we try to live part time in Perdido Key, so we don’t get to visit as often. St. Augustine by boat is about an hour from jacksonville by boat, and we met many great friends from the North who were headed South. Love St. Augustine.
Loved this! I visited this area when I was a child. Brought a lot of memories back. Thank you for all of your videos. They always bring my stress level down. Always happy when your girl is with you! 😊
Wow! You outdid yourself on the lead in cinematography on this one! Setting a high bar brother for future vids. They're always a pleasure and a great escape whenever I need one. Used to live in Homestead; now, Albany Western Australia. I miss it all a bit less thank to you
We just returned from our first trip to St Augustine and had a great time! Learned lots of history! Fort is now open and we went inside, plus we climbed the St Augustine Lighthouse! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for your hard work and posting these beautiful videos. You are better then any travel show in television history. I am driving from Jersey to St. Augustine next month and I will definitely try the Floridian restaurant.
Awesome video capturing St Augustine! We enjoyed our time there in July 2019 and we definitely need to go back. Also, kudos to Surfshark. Love the clean web feature. I definitely took advantage of the MYRV deal a few months ago. Keep up the great work Robert!

Goooood morning Robert! Another nice travelogue to start off my Sunday morning. I visited St Augustine back in 2002, camped at Anastasia, took the trolley, but I had lunch at the Columbia instead of the Floridian (grilled gouper, yum!). Thanks for bringing back some great memories!

St. Augustine is such a beaut, San Marcos Castle is like a mini El Morro.
It’s a fort, not a castle.
@@jamieleeharrison I was thinking on San Felipe Castle which is part of el Morro. Sorry for the error
There's a Fort Matanzas and a Castillo De San Marcos.. While both are forts, one does have Castle literally in its name. Easy mistake. 🙂
