I’m from Greece, where as junior doctors, we’re required to complete a year of rural practice before we continue to our specialty of choice. And it is exactly like that 😂 the patients will bring you fruit, veggies, cheese and basically anything that they produce, as a sign of gratitude and it’s interesting and sweet that even in the US, where so many things are different than here, this happens there as well ☺️
“Don’t put it back in”, ahh, so the patient is a farmer I see. Few others are so unhinged they would attempt such a thing and they usually only trust one doctor and scorn the others. That is if they ever even go to the doctor more than once a decade.😂
Spot on satire as always Preston! As hard as I laughed, this video really shows how stretched thin the family med docs are. God bless you guys, and thank you for all you do.
Lmaoooo 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 these are amazing!! 😂😂 You are killing it 💪🏽 That is definitely me, being late and blaming the kiddos! They always do have to potty last min 🤷🏻♀️
I am currently doing Clinical Rotations (MS3) and yeah… it’s going fine… I am from Puerto Rico but we follow US guidelines. So we have to interchange between Spanish and English. The notes are a handful, still getting the hang of everything. But I have faith in God, so that keeps me going strong. Besides being a student I am also a mom ✨ but I do have a strong support with my husband and parents taking care of him while I am at the hospital. Any tips? I still feel like I have mommy brain and honestly I haven’t had the time to review UWorld nor Boards and Beyond due to the huge work load as we barely have Dr.’s here. So any tip would be helpful. ✨🥲
We all know pooping at school is a real struggle
"When people go to the doctor they want to be examined" 100000% was told that by my FM supervisors!!!!
It's so true though haha
lol the reference to “irascible” from the ED resident and Psych resident video…this is truly the Medical Cinematic Universe
Absolute fucking banger, you’ve taken over as king of the medical satire
This isn't satire it's a got damn documentary

what a fantastic system Greece has with the required rural med stint. Wish that happened in the US
It is imperative to interrupt the student's presentation to ask about screening questions, simply a must
I'm a Family Medicine resident and this is absolutely spot on
same this was the first one that had me feeling defensive LOL
This is literally me
Love how the med student is always doing UWorld. So accurate

They make up for it with their 12-day STEMI/CABG visit. One visit a year on average now!
Nailed it. The only box unchecked is the extremely elderly couple from out of town who are demanding 3 months of refills on 4 different benzos.
How do they survive that many meds? 😮
@@thethe4665 chronic habituation.
Duuuuuuude SO accurate!!
the can you hear me HAS ME ROLLING LMAOOO
The chaotic neutral nature, the problems with IT, the unnecessarily detailed notes… yep
Don't forgot seeing pt after pt following up on their statin medications/labs and then casually stating they have chest pain as you're leaving.
"Heyyyy! I see you met our med student!"
*proceeds to absolutely demolish the laptop*
Loving the irascible call backs!
Spot on satire as always Preston!

The telehealth is spot on! 🤣😂
This is epic. In family med rn, this all is very much what it is like.

How has nobody mentioned the immodest eggplant
Right?😂
the thing with the COW laptop was 10000% my FM attending lmao
Yeah I work in family med practice and showed this to the majority of my coworkers. Why do you have the rolling table at home? lol
At this point I think we should have irascible on retainer. He's consulting on every vid!
So it's a rural FMC
this is such a fun video
MAKE MOREEEEE
Another solid upload. Do nephrology next
"modest gifts" 🤣🤣
This is the most accurate thing I have ever seen.
Love the content
The not so subtle Uworld screen in the beginning lol
Good job on the UW correct
sm fun to watch 😂
"If you say RVUs one more time"... Also did he do a general surgery video or am I Mandella Effecting that into exsistance because I cannot find it
No it’s real, It’s private right now but may be back later
FM consultants don't try to recruit Med students into FM by telling them how GREAT FM is? 😂
Is that a Fujitsu Lifebook?
Literally me
spot. on.
Lol im sorry they called you irascible
😂
Need bettter microphone
this looks worse than surgery
The work is worse but the people are nicer
