The look of thunder 'pon Jonathan's brow at the accusation that HE lost the keys was amazing. That single held look is a whole-day feel some days. Everyone knows Jonathan carefully documents the placement and position of every item he has ever interacted with, held, seen, or imagined. This is why Opth's case notes are several feet high (despite him never actually meeting the patient) and Ortho's are a post-it note stating "no bones, bro ☹️"?

Thank you, Dr. G!! 😊😊😊 So, before your videos I had no idea Scribes existed (as they intend, no doubt), and when my dermatologist started talking to thin air, and then told me she was talking to her scribe, I literally did a double take behind me and said, "You have a Jonathan?!?!" She replied, yes, but she is working remotely." I am awed by the power of the Scribe to even read minds. And SO confused. WHY DON'T ALL FAMILY PRACTICE DOCS HAVE A SCRIBE??

I love how the tilt on his glasses changes in each shot... and ambushing the ophtho when they're "just passing through" is a sport that every other specialty can get in on. It's not just limited to Emergency. My partner is an ophthalmologist - they're convinced that no physician actually knows how to submit a proper clinical consult except for rheumatology. "What is it you're actually looking for or am I just part of your scavenger hunt?" I am very careful to ask nicely when they're on call and I'm in the ED.

I’m actually rural FM so add a little Texaco Mike - well, I just feel seen.
Awwwww, that is so nice throwing a party for family medicine. Family medicine was soooo excited about Jonathan he was about to burst! Lmfao
❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️ This is my favorite video yet!! You made Family Medicine's dreams come true!! I can't believe how happy I am for him! Thank you, Dr. G!! 😊😊😊
So, before your videos I had no idea Scribes existed (as they intend, no doubt), and when my dermatologist started talking to thin air, and then told me she was talking to her scribe, I literally did a double take behind me and said, "You have a Jonathan?!?!" She replied, yes, but she is working remotely." I am awed by the power of the Scribe to even read minds. And SO confused. WHY DON'T ALL FAMILY PRACTICE DOCS HAVE A SCRIBE??
It's my birthday today... I'm going to accept this video as a personal gift.. Thanks Dr. G!😃🤗
I love that he went from a picture of Johnathan to an actual Johnathan. It's amazing and sweet.
This made so HAPPY! THANK YOU!!! I felt for ophthalmologist a lot but also was so genuinely overly happy for family medicine!!! I love your acting chops and awesome story lines!!! I also appreciate your way of giving me so many laughs and different emotions in such a short time period! I hope you and your family are doing awesome!
I thought your push ups were great!
I can't express how much laughter and joy you brought to so many lives. Thank you!
Family medicine finally feeling happy and looking neat for the very first time is just something so personal to me 😢😢😭😭😍
Also, the scene where he gasped, he looked like Neurology who just got his haircut 😂
I mean, I know this is comedy, and it's very funny. But as someone who works in Family Medicine (truly the backbone of medicine!), this video is also quite deep. Thank you for your hilarious and poignant insights!!
It's amazing how alive you play the different characters. I keep forgetting its the same person. Really wonderful.
Love, love love these videos as a retired family practice doctor with a rough internship/residency which is now rather funny to look back on.
OMG this made me so happy!!!!!! absolutely my favorite. Every one is my favorite but this might stay my favorite for a while. k i gotta go watch it again. I also love that he was going to make sammiches for Johnathan
Hey, I'm a Family Practitioner and I'm terribly offend... Nah, just kidding. Love your impersonations. 🤣🤣🤣
Yay Family Medicine!!! Finally!!! Merely the presence of Jonathan straightens his glasses and fixes his tie.
Family medicine getting the love!
And also reminding me that it's time once again for my annual visit with my PCP. I'm in the special land of mostly seeing specialists for special things, but my PCP is the hub in the middle of my health wheel and a great person all around.
I absolutely love how you put this together 😀
Awwww. Wonderful! I love Family Medicine and Bill best and so happy to see Family Medicine get Jonathan, even for a little While! The dawning recognition that he was going to get to have Jonathon. . . Well done!
YAYYYY!!!!!!!! I was SO GLAD to see family medicine finally get some serious help!!!!!!! I know those next 12 hours were like a dream for family medicine!!!!!!! And I LOVE the outfit adjustments as soon as family medicine received Jonathan!!!!! 😆🤣
The smile on my face is entirely unreasonable, but yay family medicine!!
As an FM August intern already struggling with documentation even though I was a full time Jonathan for 2 years before med school I cant wait till I can afford to hire my own Jonathan and pay him a descent salary he deserves
Same bro
JONATHAN!
He's so gracious for someone who doesn't say a word.
I LOVE and appreciate my brilliant, caring and exceptional Family Medicine doc! You all rock! If it wasn't for you...Hugs from Minnesota
I was so glad to see that I was only was halfway through the video at the “of course, they are my patients”. You could have stopped there and still would have a great and heartwarming piece. And the following part couldn’t have been better delivered. Awesome work!
Jonathan’s smile is so wholesome, it makes me so happy!
Ok the whole skit was gold, but why is it that I've had to rewind "do you like ham?" forty times and I can't stop laughing
I was going to CRY if family medicine was about to have his hopes and dreams shattered by ophthalmology 😭😭 in glad he got his birthday wish
This makes me so happy!!! I went into this scared I was gonna be genuinely, heart-hurtingly sad when he was inevitably disappointed by not getting a Johnathan, but ophthalmology saved the day!! I'm so happy family medicine is happy! :D
You know what’s hilarious? I’m a scribe for a family medicine physician, and I will say, this is accurate.
Oh so family medicine is under appreciated in all countries!!! Good to know it's not just Australia and New Zealand!
Many, many thanks to family medicine doctors. Mine is heaven sent!!
I have always asked my Doctors when their birthdays are. They are like family here in the Heartland. The real question is: When is Dr. G'S Bday? I think I read June/July?🎂🎉
October!

You get a whole month? ;) Must be necessary to make room for all of the other Doctors in the Glauc Universe!✌
Fun, light hearted, and super charming! Thanks for a wonderful video doc!
Your mom is an absolute delight. I love her vibes and outfit. Sending her good healing vibes.
Awwww, I'm happy for Family Medicine. Oh my... one guy and it feels like every character is so different. 😊
