With his vocals on that album, I'm sure I suffered some hearing loss ('Slaves and Bulldozers' was my jam). Thanks for taking us on a journey through that cemetery.

I've been going to Hollywood Forever since I was 16 and had my first car. Now we live in Oregon. When I go down to visit my kids and friends, I still go to there to see the new graves and to put flowers on my favorites. I don't know if you knew it or not, but there is a victim of the sinking of RMS Titanic. It's actually a 'cenotaph.' His body was never recovered. When I heard his grave was there with his family members I couldn't find it. I went into the flower shop up by the guard's shack. The lady there didn't know either. So, she called the young man who helps run the, his family own it, I believe. He didn't know about it either. My dad is buried at Pacific View Memorial Park in Newport Beach. Don’t know if you’ve been there. Its most famous gravesite would be that of John Wayne. Anyway the reason I mention it because of the situation with Chris Cornell. I thought the same thing even before you mentioned it. John Wayne’s grave did not have a stone only until just a few years ago, mainly to prevent his grave from becoming a tourist site, which I must say I am happy about since I can visit my father’s grave in peace.
Incorrect. The reason John Wayne didn't have a market until about 10 years ago is that his original marker was stolen and the family didn't want to replace it only to have it stolen again.

RIP to the Academy Award winner Hattie McDaniel @ 11:09. I noticed that you had nothing to say about this actress who paved the way for many African American actors and actresses.
Just found out from another commentator that her remains are not there, it’s only a cenotaph, memorial. She was denied burial at Hollywood Forever cemetery at that time because of her race. Her actual remains are in Angelus-Rosedale cemetery. Perhaps if and when Lamont visits that cemetery he’ll give her due respect.🌞
She was not actually buried there. what Lamont showed us was a cenotaph. Back in the day HF did not allow black people to be laid to rest at this cemetery...well when a new owner bought the cemetery an apology was forthcoming to Hattie's family for denying her wish to be buried there but the family refused Not clear as to why
The next time you’re in Georgia, stop by Macon’s Rose Hill Cemetery. Gregg Allman, Duane Allman, and Berry Oakley of the Allman Brothers Band are buried there.
Lamont you stay true to yourself. You are one of the best narrative people on the net I have come across since I started to watch graveyard videos. Please keep up the excellent work you do
Love these videos! Did you know that Dee Dee Ramone also played very briefly for the punk rock artist GG Allin, who died years before Ramone did, from the same exact thing: a heroine overdose.
I worked for a funeral home before I became disabled. I performed routine maintenance, dug graves, and worked in the crematorium. I learned a lot while working there. My boss was also my Pastor. He taught me that no matter how rich or poor a person is, our Graves will always be the same size. Thanks for the videos.
What's even more scary is the fact that three of the four members of the Ramones died of some form of cancer. I believe the bassist, Johnny, died of a drug overdose.

Hattie is buried at Angelus-Rosedale Cemetery in L.A. When Tyler Cassidy bought Hollywood Cemetery he offered Hattie's family to have her brought to HFC, as per her wishes. But they gracefully declined saying that she's been at ARC for 50 years do why disturb her. That's when Tyler had the cenotaph commissioned in her honor.

Hi Lamont - really enjoy your videos and the kindness and respect you have for our dearly departed. Keep up the good work!
Dang how did I miss this one?Oh well now iam watching it!!!!Love these😇😇
I have found that once you find happiness within yourself, nothing else in this world matters. Remember no one can make you happy. Only yourself.
I liked the video. God bless you and stay safe.
Cool video series. And that bird looks like it escaped from a science lab 🤔
Love watching your videos, you have so many stories to tell and I just want to say thanks for each and everyone of them, keep the videos coming 🥰🥰💕
It's weird that the grass over Chris Cornell's grave though had been about two years still hasn't grown in green and was still dead in entire area
6:00 I really like that guy. He was in alpha dog and I still got that DVD right here.
Great videos. I really enjoy watching them.
Please keep up the excellent work you do
Love your videos! Wish they were way way longer!
You have beautiful eyes! Just saying..... peace
Thank you and I dont like making long videos I feel it's better to break them up. Look for part 2
Yes yvette he does have beautiful eyes I agree with you x😊😊
I could listen to your voice all day your amazing love your videos ❤️
hi Lamont. You are so brave to do this.Thank you for always telling us their stories.may they all rest in peace.🌼🌸
Love your videos, WE DONT DIE WE LIVE FOREVER 🙏
Love these videos! Did you know that Dee Dee Ramone also played very briefly for the punk rock artist GG Allin, who died years before Ramone did, from the same exact thing: a heroine overdose.
sooo sad when people take their lives that way
Love what you do. Thank you
I worked for a funeral home before I became disabled. I performed routine maintenance, dug graves, and worked in the crematorium. I learned a lot while working there. My boss was also my Pastor. He taught me that no matter how rich or poor a person is, our Graves will always be the same size. Thanks for the videos.
Hard to believe all the Ramones died. My daughter had their music.
What's even more scary is the fact that three of the four members of the Ramones died of some form of cancer. I believe the bassist, Johnny, died of a drug overdose.
@@joshuabrooks4907 Johnny was the guitarist. You obviously don't have a clue about the band
@@rudolphvalentino7181 says the guy named after an actor who died in 1926
@@joshuabrooks4907 Coming from the moron who's trying to sound smart and giving a speech about the Ramones, and, something he's so sure of, Johnny being the bassist. LOL🤣🤣🤣
@@rudolphvalentino7181 there's a difference between correcting someone, and being an asshole about it, ya know.
Say to those who treat others badly that there is an end for every one

Special thanks from muslim.follower
I eventually like this channel as best
Keep thr great work and thanks again
Bless all
RIP Chris Cornell!!!!
Beautiful content you got.seeing this just tot me to live life to the fullest. Life is preety short and it broke my heart even more when i saw that the last gravestone carries a date 5th of august 1987• i was born on the 1st of august 1987 just four days bfr that late guy was born. How sad is that! May their beautiful souls rest in peace.amen
Your videos are excellent. Keep up the great work. May God bless all of these dear souls who have crossed over to the Other Side.
Very good narrating, with respect. Sad that some end their life, fighting depression or demons. Totally agree what we have, materialistic we don't take with us. Hopefully we leave memories to those around us. At 65 I Do Not want to be placed in the ground. Cremation for this Great Grandma. My loved ones can talk to me Anywhere 😉 my preference.will not take up space here on Earth.
Anton Yelchin would turn 30 years old, this sunday ..
Love your video keep them coming come to NYC in Manhattan 157st they're are 2 big cemeteries one in Amsterdam the other one by river side and record
I didn't know Hattie McDaniel was buried there!!! She was a hugely famous actress!!!
Great information on Hattie. It was kind of disappointing he didn't say anything about. Most people know who she is.
Very sad he didn't say anything about her.
@@lovelygivan5533 I agree
Hattie is buried at Angelus-Rosedale Cemetery in L.A. When Tyler Cassidy bought Hollywood Cemetery he offered Hattie's family to have her brought to HFC, as per her wishes. But they gracefully declined saying that she's been at ARC for 50 years do why disturb her. That's when Tyler had the cenotaph commissioned in her honor.
Terry Myers...Nice job🙋🏽♀️💕Terry
Don't change anything you do. Love your channel!
Faces and Death sounds good. Thank you for sharing it with your viewers. I once had one last day of Job vacation. And I spend it inside a cemetery reading graves. It was in the city of NYC. Trains etc... But as I walk it became silence.
This is the first time that I have seen your work. Great job, I appreciate your humility and sincerity!
Lamont just found your videos great job I really enjoy your thoughts and commentary. Thanks for remembering people who have passed on. The ancient Egyptians believed that if your name is spoken then you continued to live. If you have not done Forest Lawn Glendale you should think about it lots of interesting people there.
Please do more of these 👍🏻
You are a wealth of information, you do a great job, you explain well, keep doing what you do! Thank you 😎
Thank you
Awesome! love your videos and your channel.
Thanks
So I looked up the Richard Pananian that you showed the grave of he was ejected into a freeway sign and it say his family had a lamb sacrifice for him days before he was killed crazy
What does it mean.?????
Is it some kind of religion????
Just curious. Lol
@@firstmate9367 I'm not sure but I just thought it was weird that they had a lamb sacrifice days before he was killed
Lindsey Picha died of leukemia. The family has stated she was ill but no one, including Lindsey, knew. Good vid!
