Just a FYI. If you want to go back to that property and let the guy you were talking to know that his friend can save his house. Not a lot of people know of a program with the county that can help with foreclosure. I got help.
That property is still in his name and he needs to go to the Marion county commissioner office and ask for help. Don’t let that nice house go to waste. I live in Marion county also. It is called the hardship program.

@@lindakanzeg3205Sure it is. High grass and weeds encourage insects, rodents, snakes, etc. to over populate which goes beyond that one property. Causes the weeds to blow seeds into their lawn and contaminate it. Also, it means having to look at a mess everyday. It brings property values down, makes it hard to sell your own house if you need to leave. It encourages squatters to move in. How is that not their problem? Are you from New York City or what?
It's obvious that the neighborhood just doesn't care enough to keep that yard done.
Asking the neighborhood to mow this man's yard weekly or biweekly is asking a lot!

Families normally have their plates full and couldn’t find the time. I just have to wonder how many times you’ve mowed a neighbors grass because you care so much.
Not everyone is appreciative of others coming onto their property doing things without their permission. People are mean and evil and will take any opportunity to hurt you when all you’re trying to do is help….. sometimes minding your business is the safest thing you can do!

Maybe their subscriber count isn't high enough to pay the bills? One other site has over 1M. (Not that they're having an easy time of it, either--lots of wear and tear on equipment.)

There was an issue with banks stealing homes from homeowners. I know someone who had prepaid on his loan . He went to pay his taxes and the town said it was already paid. He thought it was strange and called the bank, they said give us 30 days to get back to you. When he didn't hear from them, he called back again and they said we are working on it we will get back to you. Then told him to hold off on paying them until he hears from them. They doubled is mortgage payment due. He couldn't pay it so they tried to foreclose. He fought it for years but they finally did. Many people were victims of this bank scam. The government settlement was not much more then 1k. Its a shame, they got away with it.
