I thought the same but water is metered iafter the main enters the house.The break looks like it’s outside before the meter.
If that sidewalk wasn't wet you would have had a harder time getting that grass off of the sidewalk. The yard looks great. Good job. 👍👍😊

That sidewalk unveiling has been epic. Someone sure has one heck of a water bill and since the meter isn't working, probably the town. Please do the house next door so we can see the remainder of the sidewalk!

Hi! Congratulations on the wonderful service of cleaning the sidewalks in this yard that has a lot of trash and weeds. We noticed that all the houses and yards in this neighborhood are very dirty and full of rubbish. We also see a disgusting habit, accumulating everything on neighbors' borders, this is a total lack of politeness towards neighbors.
Looks like the tidy up encouraged the utility company to come out and try to find the leak. Great job!

I often think people let the sidewalks out front of their homes end up like this on purpose. That way they are not responsible for them! This guy needs to find that leak. That was a lot of work reclaiming that sidewalk and wet too!
I live out on Ellerbe Rd, I would have taken that sod and used it in my backyard! Great video!

There is no way I would touch that without knowing for sure that it is just city water and not city sewer and even if it is just water that can't be too healthy to be working in that mildew and rot it's ucky

You are working on things that reverse disconnection and downfall in the neighborhood. The leak, went on for a long time and now the trend is going up from ignoring it. The sidewalk, that became impassible on multiple houses, is getting reconnected. People can see the neighborhood connected and they can walk safely. A neat rake find. 19:36, a nice look at the order being put in. Glad you noted the bees and hornets. Despite them, you are getting the form and navigability of the back area usable. Such a lot of improvements overall. Thank you.
would ideally be better to dig a tiny drainage along his sidewalk that has all the juice flowing over it until the sewerage company can find the leaky source.

Did the city ever fix the broken water line? If you do the house to the left, would be cool to see the sidewalk completely cleared and dry of water.
You did a great job! You were hindered in some areas but who wants to get poison ivy or be stung.
You should see if the neighbors would let you do their lawn.

Did they ever find the leak? Since the meter wasn't running will the city replace the sidewalk once they fix the leak?
