I‘m 75 years young; back in the day neighbors took care of neighbors, whether it was cutting the grass for the old couple across the street, or watching the kids for the young mother down the block, we just did what needed to be done for each other. Sadly, things just don’t seem to work like that anymore. 😢
Dont worry. People are still, taking care of each other. My neighbors check on me all the time. And my brother who lives in another state has neighbors that bring him food on occasion.
Hi, young person! I think we have had too much of a "Nanny Generation" where kids are "protected" even from using something as "dangerous" as a lawn mower! I recall that as soon as i was tall enough to operate the old manual (not motorized) rotary-blade lawn mower on the farm, it was MY job to mow the front lawn and the side along the garden, about every two weeks in the summertime! That stood me in good stead when I owned my own home in a city, where I was delighted to find a new rotary mower designed just like the one I grew up with. I recall some kids on bicycles stopping to watch this antique-like lawn care, and one of them said, "you know those come with motors now, don't you!" I looked at their bikes and replied, "You know, I think THOSE come with motors too!"
I agree! When I was a kid we were told to go cut so and so yard. We didn’t expect payment nor complained , we just did it! So sad what we’ve become as a nation!
Excellent work Tucker. Those stairs were something else. You showed respect to the elder gentleman. Your parents raised you right. PS: I like the new hat.
The people in that house don’t realise what a untidy uncared for yard looks like to the neighbourhood and a well maintained lawn is so uplifting and gives a sense of pride to the whole block 😊
Tucker, you’re gonna have to go back to wearing your signature red shirt or 🦺 to make sure those speeding vehicles will see you. Saw where one came really close to you. Great job on the big yard.
That neighbor was telling you the truth. I agree with him 💯% This generation doesn't care about a lot of things. This is my first time watching you as well. I watch a lot of guys that do this type of work. I appreciate all of you. Great job.
If the older generation care so much why didn’t he cut the grass?? It took a random person to come cut it when he lives next door 😂😂😂 but yall love being the pot so continue

Wow you sure showed off what a sweet lil home this is. Nice finish work Tucker. God bless you for taking time to talk to our elders. You have no idea how much that means to them and show them that they’re worth your time. Love your channel

Fantastic job Tucker. You put in a lot of very hard work. Revealing those steps was awesome. The neighbors must be so happy. Really liked the gentleman getting you up to speed on the property. BTW, you just keep on talking. I really love to hear your thoughts. They make me smile, and that makes me happy. A grateful hug from this gal in Ottawa Canada 💕🌹

Love your work TK 😃 You've become one of the top lawn guys and deserve so many more sub's mate. You're edges are as sharp as those slideshows have always been ☺ Keep doing you
You did an amazing job not only. Thank you for what you did for this yard. But also you gave the neighbors a nicer area to look at. One year my sons and I did this for a lady who lost her husband we mowed and kept her yard without any payment. But the payment was that she at least knew her yard was cared for now. And you treated him with respect and kindness, as you always do. I always enjoy the interactions with the neighbors. A lot of edging and so much work with the string trimmer/weed eater. Fantastic clean up! So weird how the front path doesn't match up to the opening in the porch railing. I kept expecting there to be more pathway leading off to the right! I am glad you didn't ruin your mower on that unexpected rock and edging!
I am 75 and I love mowing my lawn. We have 3 acres here, and I mow it all. Of course, I do have a mower with a 60" deck that I ride around on. I push mow my front yard with my little John Deere push-mower. Needless to say, this keeps me in really good shape, and I do enjoy it 😂😂😂

Wow what a lovely garden now you can see it and the house, amazes me that people leave homes to go to pot. Well done Tucker glad the gent appreciated your hard work ❤❤. Pauline. Wiltshire 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Tucker, the house itself looks in good condition, not too much rubbish lying around. That the front and back gardens have been badly maintained could mean family members don’t care especially if the owner is in care or has passed away. You did great work on those overgrown steps, well done. Thank you from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤😊
Oh man. Look at all those old houses. They're beautiful! Now that one fits right in with being a super nice yard on the block! The stairs were magical. How could someone let those grow over??? You did another amazing job, Tucker! Well done! 🎉 40:57
Thank you for doing most of the weed eating kinda all together. It some what puts my OCD at rest. I get itchy when people edge, weed eat and then blow - doing it multiple times. I was taught to pick up a tool one time, use it and get it all complete before moving to the next tool. Such as edging the whole yard front and back then weed eating the whole yard ( front and back yards) then mowing the yard. Followed by blowing the yard. That way you only have to blow once.😊
Nice job!!! Huge yard to do, too. Perhaps get some safety cones to put out on street when you're edging might help. And, strongly recommend brightly colored safety vest, goggles, ear protection. Your well-being is important.😊
Neighbor spoke facts that’s for sure… I’m a grandma who drinks her wine on the porch and admires her yard, here ❤ those steps were definitely hidden, great job there and all looks 100% better. 👍
You have got a good heart & I can tell you love what you’re doing - for others. We need more people like you helping others. I’m sure the neighbors were grateful. Love your videos. From - Illinois - hi. 👋 😊
So very true, Tucker. I wish more people were old school like us. We were taught in the young generation that to be that way. I came from being dirt, poor and of course when I got a little older. I got went through that phase. Wasn't until my aunt passed away that I went back to do on that. Doing God's work that's why we're here. Keep on doing the great work tucker
That is a beautiful piece of property in a lovely neighborhood and you worked hard to make it stand out. Great job! 👍🏼 If the owners consider a sale, I think someone would appreciate it. P.S. I thought that huge tree stump was a large rock at first ! Biggest tree stump I’ve seen in a lawn video.
I feel his pain. I have neighbors that don't take care of their yards and it drives me crazy. I mow twice a week and water every day when it's hot. And on both sides and across the street they don't mow at all. It's maddening.
Your channel popped up for me, so glad I decided to click on it...I sub'd. I'm only about 8 mins in, but, I know this is going to be amazing and so welcomed by the neighbourhood 💚
TK that must have been one of the most enduring and difficult yards that you have done in a while. The steep hills and trimming was mind blowing but as usual you were on top of your game. Great work and the results were awesome.

Wow what a lovely garden now you can see it and the house, amazes me that people leave homes to go to pot. Well done Tucker glad the gent appreciated your hard work ❤❤. Pauline. Wiltshire 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Great job. I love the way you take the before and after from the exact same place
You did a fine job. Be proud of yourself.
Thanks Susanna!
Thanks for making the world a better place
Am in awe about the steps. Glad you did not trip while cleaning. Loved your chat with the neighbor.
Excelente trabalho! Fica tudo tao harmonioso! Parabens pela atitude e disponibilidade!
Everyone house you do just makes me want to buy it or something like this house is so pretty more after you put your touch on it
What one person can make a difference in a whole neighborhood. I’m sure they appreciated your efforts. Wish it was my yard here in Arkansas.
Beautiful job!! So nice of you.
For your safety you should be wearing a reflective vest and have cones out while working along the road. That road was super busy.
You're right, I'm getting some!
@@TKLawns So happy to hear it. 🤗🤗🤗
Fantastic job. It looks just great. Thanks for spreading kindness you're a wonderful man, bless you!!
You do great work everybody appreciates you.
That is such a cute house and you made it look so much better! Great work as always
I can't believe there were steps under that mess! Great job! Love the before & after pictures.
Nice job!!! Huge yard to do, too. Perhaps get some safety cones to put out on street when you're edging might help. And, strongly recommend brightly colored safety vest, goggles, ear protection. Your well-being is important.😊
Looking good. 👍
Epic work, Tucker! That house went from no stairs to a stairway to heaven. The neighbor was awesome, too!
Accidentally came across your video/lawn work. Great change, wow😊
What a transformation on this corner lot. The house received an uplift. It looks so nice. 😊
JOB WELL DONE.HELLO AND GREETINGS FROM VIENNA , AUSTRIA , EUROPE. KEEP SAFE ALWAYS
Well I'm so glad you decided to watch! Thanks so much Angie
TK that must have been one of the most enduring and difficult yards that you have done in a while. The steep hills and trimming was mind blowing but as usual you were on top of your game. Great work and the results were awesome.
