“Just a little bit of pepper” reminded me of “add two shots of vodka” 😂
😂😂😂
The fake bitters 😂
Lmao it’s kinda like how Lisa adds her hot sauce on dishes. 😂🌶🔥
Nah if anything that wasnt enough especially for the pre ground stuff
It reminds me of that's enough slices man
The salt pepper lemon/lime dip is a classic dip for seafood in Asian households.
Missing a little soy sauce..🤣
As a Asian i will tell this is true
It is my first time to taste this sauce in Cambodia 😅
Time to question my Latino parents then
@@yoonwehn sip, it’s like the base for any marisco in my house too 🇲🇽 se me hace agua la boca just thinking about it 🤤
one thing I've realized by watching her channel is when Lisa says "just a little bit" she actually means a lot lol😂😂
Edit: so just to clear things up I didn't mean just this specific video OK like I understand that maybe that isn't a lot of seasoning to some but maybe we just have different definitions of the word "little" and "lot"
I was just thinking the exact same thing
@@forever90s66 same here
A lot (bit) 😏
@@pixelhinatabecca989 lol😂😂
when I first saw the video I thought of a lottle (little + lot) bit but was too shy to put it glad I'm not the only one
Was that really a lot? 🤔
For my grandma, she would grab a BUNCH of packs of these crabsticks, and tear it up into little long strips, deep dry it and pat dry the excess oil. Voliá, betch, you got yourself a crispy crabstick snack that can last up to almost a month. Best eaten with porridge or instant noodles too!
Yum!! ... Will give that a try 🌸
I don’t think it’ll last up to a month
You can airfry them too!
Mixing with a big ol knife is such a relatable "I don't wanna wash up" mood
mixed it with the knife to then mix it with the imitation crab lmao
I second that 😂😂❤❤
And then u realize that u can mix with fhe food😅. It's better that way than using knife
Don’t view this profile🗿
I used to love imitation crab as a kid. I would eat it with my dad and we would dip it in some melted butter. I haven’t had it in quite awhile though.
Yep! Everytime my parents cook crab we use this sauce, we also use it on lobster and balut
yoo you eat balut, i only eat the soup part 💀
@@ilaldkxb same but I also eat the egg yolk part
It is not sauce
BALUT YES YES HYES YES YE
Ew balut
I loved imitation crab when I was a kid, and the crabmeat-shaped imitation crab tasted better than the sticks. Along with boiled potatoes, carrots, dried fish, and onions, it was one of the things we’d dip in seal oil and soy sauce. Scrummy
What’s seal oil??
@@nattylite9220 Lol, it’s literally the oil of a seal. A part of Alaskan Native subsistence hunting.
@@Whenevember oh wow! That’s really interesting, I’m gonna be honest that was the last answer I was expecting bc it’s so literal 😂😂
@@nattylite9220
Lol, it is odd, the seals are hunted and the fat is collected and the oil just drains from the it? It might be odd in the US, but it’s traditional. I like it because what you do is you spoon a little bowl of seal oil and dip other things into it, like dried fishes or this one you’re allowed to eat frozen. Lush fish, but I don’t know what it’s legal name is. I liked adding soy sauce (Kikkoman only) or Lea & Perrin’s Worcestershire sauce to seal oil. It’s a treat.
Lol, where are you from? I’m curious. And what is your most favorite and least favorite food? I don’t like meatballs, they’re never as tomato-y as I’d like. My favorite is spicy tuna poke, but it has to have the perfect sauce.
@@Whenevember that’s really cool knowledge!! I’m from Ohio, the worst state in America 😂 but a favorite food of mine would probably have to be just plain boiled crab meat but if we’re talking a dish, fried rice with any kinds of vegetables and meats, I love Japanese and Asian comfort foods much more than American cuisine but don’t get me wrong I’ll never say no to a fat juicy burger or hotdog lol. Least favorite I’d probably have to say split pea soup, or anything with chickpeas like hummus. It’s a texture thing I can’t quite get over. I can agree with the meatballs thing tho unless they’re on a submarine bun :) any other foods you like?
When I was a kid I thought 'imitation crab' was a crab that would copy your movements lmao
So pure lol.
i love that
XD
I always used to think sauerkraut was spelt sourcrab as a kid and teen because I thought it looked like crab 💀
Aww that’s sooo cute 🥰
BRO WHATTTT
This person eats everything RAWW WTFFF
Sushi is raw, so is steak tartare, and so many other things are literally eaten raw.
Imitation crab meat is literally cooked before packaged. It’s made out of starch and fish.
'Just a little bit of pepper'
Proceeds to fill half the tiny plate
…yeah but only a tiny bit of pepper gets on the food when you dip it, as you can see.
no lisa, i haven’t tried this snack. but u have inspired me. u have changed me. i owe my life to u. i owe my stomach to u. i will never forget u. i love u.
Dude. Are. You. Ok.
Well that escalated
Mans made it sound like she passed.
Lisa has no cooking skill whatsoever, and every single video showcases her lack of skills within a kitchen. From her cooking, to her knife skills, she does nothing but showcase food and was lucky enough to gain a following. It's embarrassing how this has changed your life dude
I think we found the crazy ex boyfriend from the lifetime movies 😭
used same sauce but with clams, taste amazing!
I like to eat blood clam with this sauce
This reminds me of the dips they give us at Boiling Crab mmm
I paired imitation crab with ramen when I was graduating, it tasted so good
cool
gonna have to try that
I put in imitation crab almost every time I make ramen!
i like my crab like i like my ramen: instant
Thats a really good idea, I'm gonna have to try it
Yum. Imitation crab is underrated tbh
That looks delicious
🧢
No I love crab
And it’s a matter of opinion not everything u say is automatically everyone’s opinion lol
@@Devinn504 how????? Not everyone thinks the same way as you do.... 🤡🤡🤡
@@Devinn504 troll get a job in real life 🤡🤡🤡
I love the knife mixing🤣❤️
Imitation crab meat is actually great and I can’t be convinced otherwise.
Havent tried this. However my big sister used to take the imitation crab that was left over from the seafood salad my grandparents made and make a garlic butter sauce and eat like she was at red lobster!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes!!! We always made a garlic lemon butter and dipped and felt fancy when I was a kid😊
Doesn't taste the same lol but I'll try
She eat like a king
@@damien1781 Try Mexican imitation crab salad. 😭 nothing like it out here.
@@gustavrodriguez910 I'm Mexican and black and Japanese I've tried that and way more things then you have. I love alot of things trust me
just reminded me parts of my childhood ty
Fun fact a lot of imitation crab still has crab in it
It's usually potluck or whitefish mixed with crab juice...
Bro it's just ground up fish like paddock
I always wait when I hear your voice . Love your voice and contents
Imitation crab salad is a good cheap snack also. Eat it by itself, with greens, or make some sliders with hawaiian bread 🤤
I've tried this before, but with real crab and it was salty and plain at the same time and it blew my mind ! I really enjoyed it
"Just a little bit of pepper.."
Salt: *am i a joke to you?*
Hahaha. On point 💯
ngl the mixture u using is quite literally some of the most versatile thing lmao, normal would be used to eat with boiled chicken
need this rn
Nails r looking good!!! Nice and long and natural my love
Finally someone else who knows what "a little bit of pepper" means 🌶️
“Just a little bit of pepper” *struggles to put the whole thing*
Those imitation crab sticks look so good
I want some
My family uses a similar variation of this for seafood, steak, you name it!! I could not go a meal without a little bowl of this by my side: lime/lemon, a little water, salt, pepper, the teeniest amount of diced garlic. Oh this brought back memories!!
Thanks for the combo ima try this out
I try that holy trinity sauce on every combo....when I was growing up
But with lime or lemon???
@@danielhubley3335 with any that was available normally lime
Yes, I need more recipes for imitation crab
I love having seafood with ‘muối tiêu chanh’, the best sauce to have with any seafood for me
yes!!! i looove having it with crawfish and shrimp
It's good as a salad dressing as well
This is the first short after like 50 that didnt feature the "I'm really lonely" song, you're my hero😭😭😭
My mom puts the imitation crab in a ham/turkey sandwhich, French bread, cheese some Mayo and mustard. It’s bussin bussin, especially when paired with some soup!!!
i did this (and still do) with shrimp! it's soo good!
Use lemon, salt and tapitio instead of pepper. It’s great to dip shrimp in so I imagine it would be great with imitation crab too
Thank you for posting this!! 🌟❤️🌟❤️
"just a little bit of pepper" proceeds to put a whole teaspoon worth of pepper*
I appreciate the fact that you mixed it with a knife because that is totally something I would do too.
What I'd do is I'd melt some better, then add lemon pepper as well as chili powder and a little bit of complete seasoning. It's great with imitation crab. :)
My grandma got me into crabmeat with butter when I was a kid! Sometimes I still eat it. This looks great too.
“Just a little bit”...Adds half the container 🤣
I just made it it’s really good 8/10 def recommend
Eating those imitation crab with just a nip of wasabi, super delicious. Simple and doesn't require you to do anything.
Funny enough, you probably use imitation wasabi🗿
I tried this and it was delicious! I don’t care for the taste of crab all by itself, so this helped to both disguise and enhance the flavor of the crab.
Her: "Just a little bit of pepper"
Also her, "adding the whole frickin thing"
That looks so good 😊
Everytime my grandma would make chicken soup, I would grab some chicken and make that same exact combo and tear off chicken and dip. So so good!
I was expecting air fried crab snack but damn this one is new!!
I used to do this too!!! Still do and now my grandkids do it!
I like it plain. My gramma got it from the deli and we would snack on it
Yes but instead of that sauce i used my mother "fish sauce"
It has sweet, salty and tangy sauce
Recipe
-lemon
-salt
-sugar
-2 chili (whole)
-kecap asin ( dont know name in ingglish)
-secret blend of spice
Imitation crab is always good for quick snacks since it's ready to eat. I never did that before, though now I'll have to try, but one of my quick go-tos has always been wrapping the sticks in cheese. If I feel like something more hardy, I'll brake them up or grab the flakes and get some crackers. Nothing fancy but it tastes good and it fills and that's what's important.
Looks really good
Day 368 of asking
Can you instead of just eating the level 7 spicy noodles right away do it step-by-step (starting from level 4 maybe since you already have a high spice tolerance)? so by the time you get to 7 you’ll be ready!!😁
Damn day *368* broooo
@@Luckyarv ikr i thought of the same thing
You gotta love Lisa's definition of "a little bit of pepper".
yep
Ooo, could you try a snack that I like??
Ingredients -
Imitation crab, cream cheese, pepper, and mayonnaise. (Add spice if you want, I haven't tried it like that since I have little to no spice tolerance lmao)
You mix the (room temp) cream cheese, the pepper, and the mayo in a separate bowl and rip the imitation crab (boil before anything) into stringy pieces (cutting them into little pieces before pulling them apart is recommended. After that, mix them together and enjoy (or not lmao)
Never tried with that sauce but I do sometime regularly eat crab meat(imitation) as a snack when I’m hungry
I love Lemon pepper and salt with crab meat you made my mouth water. It tastes even better with blue crab claws!!! With a hot bowl of steamed white rice
Do you remember when you only had 300 subs? How did you feel?
Imitation crab and cocktail sauce was many of my lunches as a kid!
Can I have your Autograph?
_Lisa Nguyen_
@@LisaNguyen lmao
Love that Voice!!! 😍
I've never had imitation crab. Honestly ever since I can remember it when I was little the idea of it freaked me out. I'd rather eat real crab.
You are so damn pretty yet so darn wholesome.
When your too lazy to wash a spoon so you just use a cutting knife 😭
That looks sooo good😊
I'm good on imitation anything at this point..
It looks good 😋😋😋
Looks good to me. I'm gonna try this!
It's definitely good to know that the imitation crab legs are this good.
I feel so much better now about loving crab sticks.
omg i almost forgot about this kind of sauce, i had it when i was little and never had it again hitting teen years cuz i moved in with my european father
but seeing this vid hits me with nostalgia vibes
"a little bit of pepper" shakes the life out of it😂😂😂
I use salt, black pepper, msg, red or green chili, garlic and lime juice mix it together it tastes really good
me and my mom would just eat imitation crab with cocktail sauce and lemon. It’s still one of my favorite snacks😋
salt and pepper sounds like a crazy combo, will have to try asap.
My fav imitation crab snack is a plain omelette with a sick of crab in the middle it’s so good
I’m obsessed with imitation crab
You should try it with melted butter. My dad would make it for me when I was younger and I loved it so much.
I prefer Mayo.
And i like to put the crabsticks in the air fryer at 160 for 3 mins so that have a lightly crispy, slightly brown outershell.
My grandpa used to do this but he would add mayo to it!! Its so good!!!
I’d have that with butter, old bay, lemon juice and some cocktail sauce mixed together. That’s delicious!
I got a flashbacks because I used to do this as a kid and I thought I was alone in this. Nice to know at least one other kid was doing this.
Haven't tried this with crab/imitation crab, but I'm sure it's hella delicious because salt+pepper+lemon juice is my favorite simple and near instant dressings for cucumber and tomato salad 🤤
"Just a bit of pepper" then proceeds to fill the dish😂😅😂😅
I had this before and I loved it
Definitely going to try that!
As an Cambodian yes I have but with real crab it is delicious I love that sauce my grandma would always make it for me when we eat crab when I was younger
My mom would buy imitation crab all the time and I would have it with melted butter! I’m down to try this too
I usually put cheese and butter on mine it’s so good
I like shredded the crab meat and mix it with some Japanese mayo, ketchup and I eat it with some rice. Ik weird combo but it’s good
Looks good!
I would simply warm up butter and dip the imitation crab in that! Delicious!
I actually had this just last night lol!
