Advice to all: Always always circle the theme park first and go in deep, when the day just started, people tend to crowd towards the attractions near the entrance, and have early or late lunch as the lunch crowds are crazy. Start from within and make your way out.

Hi Samsi, I plan to go to USS on friday 1-Sep. Since it is not on weekend, do you think it will be very crowded like this?

For USS u gotta go on weekdays! When the whole majority of the population is away at work and school. Also the reason why now alot of the rides are closed are to do with covid 19. Prior to covid everything was open but once covid struck they had to shut it down and get rid of alot of workers. Now they have a worker shortage hence they cant keep everything open! Hope that helps.
Finally, a good blogging and tip video about universal in Singapore. Normally if you manage to go on quiet days, there is zero queue. I honestly think that there wouldn’t be big lines bc most people cannot purchase season/annual pass. I didn’t know it would be this crazy. I’m still waiting to purchase the pass.

i went on 1 december 2022 and it rained. the mummy ride malfunctioned so me and my friends waited 2 hours for nothing, but seriously after it rained the queues all cleared up and every single ride was 5-15 minutes long. even cylon and human were 3 times shorter than usual with a 15-20 minute long wait. it was really fun and we rode our favourite rides a lot of times so i must say the rain helped.
Well, that sounds like a bit of a rollercoaster (pun intended) of a day at the amusement park! It's too bad the Mummy ride was out of commission and you had to wait for nothing, but it seems like the rain ended up being a silver lining. I mean, who doesn't love shorter wait times for their favorite rides? And being able to ride them over and over again is the cherry on top. I hope you were able to make some fun memories despite the initial hiccup
@@JackTorr I forgot to say it actually went back to operation so we got to ride it 3 times with a short queue 🤡
Enchanted Airways (the small dragon roller coaster) and the Transformers Ride have the same tracks as the hippogriff and the Spider-Man ride in Japan respectively. So if u want a completely different experience and don’t want to take rides that you sort of have taken before, I recommend skipping them. Not to say those rides aren’t good tho. They were one of my favourites when I was younger

That did not look a pleasurable experience Jack. Two hours waiting in that temperature and humidity is tantamount to torture and the rest of the problems. I go to a place called Salou in Spain which has a huge theme park and you walk straight on rides most of the time, especially at night. On the positive though, your subs are going up well!
It wasn't too bad, just the first 2hours was very annoying!

Sg trip comes soon - we are planning to visit universal studio, is the ticket hard to get? how much per adult ticket in SGD$? where in sg to buy it? which day of the week maybe quieter? food wise, is it worth eating food in side or getting food outside is better in terms of price and quality? thank you!!!

no. 1. no, the tickets arent that hard to get but still get them in advance in case
no. 2. the price depends, usually between 50 and 80 dollars
no. 3. online or outside in the kiosks when u come, i recommend online
no. 4. tuesday but if u have to go on a weekend go on saturday
no. 5. eat outside

School holiday usually starts end May through pretty much the whole of June. Hope that helps!
avoid going there in September to March as it's the rain season. June to August are usually the hottest and school holiday for most, so expect a big crowd.
April and May should be find since it’s not our school holiday season
This is why my family and I would go to USS minutes earlier so that we could enjoy rides without queueing
Not being fully open still,not a good look for thus Singapore location. I hope the top brass of Universal addresses these issues.

Advice to going to USS: Don’t go there on a weekend, holidays, special occasions eg. New Years. It will get really crowded…
You can go visit some of the other islands as well if you want a day getaway Pulau Ubin is one but also Kusu, St John's Lazarus islands as part of your trip! Could even pop by the Sembawang hot spring park to soak your feet from your travels.

Sembawang Hot Spring Park is just a bunch of taps spewing hot water for the villagers and pseudoscience-believing simpletons who call the North side of Singapore home. Skip it!

Looks like a major disappointment compared to Universal Hollywood and Universal Orlando.
Before covid you can get anything you wanted but after covid alot of thing have change at resort world sentosa..
I myself as Singaporean I never go back to resort world sentosa anymore. Nothing much to do there hotel even more worst not to highest standards at all... 👎👎👎
