There's one 'drawback' to the 365. I'm up to 3 that are: one original X-Macro Comp and 2 X-Macro 'TacOps' varianrs, 4 X-tra slides, several threaded and unthreaded barrels in various colors, XL and XM grip modues in various colors and makes and I now have a hobby I didn't exactly plan on having. Probably going to get another FCU to hang extra parts on, and it just wont stop. I think I need a 12-step program... "High, I'm John and have a 365 problem"
Gotta love when you have enough "extra parts" to build more guns. You can 3d print plastic frames to hang parts on. You can't shoot them, but they'll hold and organize your parts... and they don't really cost anything. I'm not 100% certain that the 3d files for the P365 frame are online, but they most likely are... and if they're not, it wouldn't be difficult to print a simplified version to just hold parts.
My favorite gun of all time is the p365. Thank you for this video! I don’t subscribe to many channels but you got me after just two videos! Great work, keep up the awesome content.
FYI, Sig is now showing X-Macro grip modules on their site for 99.99. Meanwhile, Wilson Combat has released their 75-ish dollar X-Macro grip module in two different styles and 4 colors. You lose the S/M/L back strap option but gain better stippling IMO and the ability to add WC tungsten weights to the grip module. I have both the WC versions and Sig Coyote version grip modules on various X-Macro's. They're both good, but the WC has better/higher stippling, a skightly larger beaver tail, a more flared magwell, the ability to use tungsten weights as well as coming in 2 styles and 4 colors. And it's now leass expensive.
For the 365xl frame, i had the same pinky issue. I found a quarter inch base plate from tactical development that allowed me to lock in my grip. But now i use the x macro. I have a pmm comp and barrel with a live free armory 365 slide for that integrated look.
What worked for me is the recon Ron pull-up program. I went from around 12 (19 was my previous PR a few years earlier so muscle memory helped) to 23 in about 4 months.
When I first read this I thought you meant you went from first having a P365 that held 12 rounds to configuring it to hold 23 rounds (writing in the style of @XrayMike17plus1 in this thread) because you have a "P365 problem", LOL!
great video. I just switched over to the sig platform and I am a sponge right now. This guy thinks just like I do... I switched over for the modularity and because I wanted to make it my own. keep em coming. Wish you would review the Sig Romeo-X yes its that good. and excited to hear what you think about the FoxTrot2r.
@@manonfire3642 isn't one in this category. **Edit** I would put the new version of the S&W M&P 2.0 with the new flat trigger and optics cut as a very close 2nd, but it doesn't have the modularity of the P365, so Sig stays on top.
What Sig needs is better mags. I've seen people saying the mags rust. I ran mine for the first time today, being very careful inserting/removing the mags and sure enough on both mags after a couple of hundred rounds they were down to bare shiny steel in 3 spots, which will eventually lead to rust. It wouldn't bother me so much if the 17 round mags didn't cost $60.00 for each mag. This does not happen with my FN's, the finish stays in place. I started to wipe them down with clp but clp removes the finish on the mags also, so I wiped them down with Kroll, the oil that creeps. Is anyone else experiencing extraordinary wear with the mags?
The regular P365 just came out on the CA roster about 1 month ago. Of course it's popular here now. I was able to get one of these early and it makes my G26 look like a fatty (I still love it though - we don't fat shame our baby glocks). The concealability for a double stack is amazing and it's not so snappy that you can't control it. Optics ready and comes with a flush mag and a pinky extender mag so you can carry it based on your own personal preference. For CA, this makes sense if you have a CCW or just plan to freedom carry. We haven't had a ton of CCW options until recently anyway. Now "new" models are starting to flow in, but this is and will continue to be a great option for EDC... Comfort, concealability, double stack (maybe CA will get access to normal mag sizes again) optics ready, on target/accurate, reliable and the same price point as most other subcompacts in CA - heck it was cheaper than my Sig P238 .380 - what's not to love if you want something in this size with these features.
Hope you forgive me saying... but I think it's foolish and cowardly that people would obey such a blatantly unjust, unconstitutional, illegal "law". If we want to stop receiving such unjust "laws", we just simply need to stop being so deserving of them.

Not to be cowardly, but I have to think about the impact to my family members too. There is no good scenario for CA if you have to use a weapon. If you're not following the current "laws", CA won't even give you a chance - just imagine a traffic stop gone bad if you're exercising your constitutional 2A rights, but not within the scope of the state "laws".
