Thanks for everything... It took me 20+ years to find a lifestyle diet that feels right. I dabbled in lowfat and vegetarianism to simply not caring and eating whatever... But I've been following your advice for a few years, and everything finally feels right. Perfect BMI, no brainfog, great health, no complaints. Thank you.
Up to about 18 years ago, I drank lots of Diet Coke because I thought I was avoiding the calories despite the indulgence. Well, my knee problems were so bad that I couldn't lift my leg to the street curb or get up from a chair. As soon as I stopped drinking Diet Coke, my knees improved overnight and I don't have those problems anymore now that I am 65 YO. I never touched Diet Coke ever since but I still drink regular Coke whenever I eat pizza. I am in the process of not drinking Coke at all. I have been an organic gardener for 30 years now and it's so good to know that the fresh produce I get fr my backyard is chemical-free (other than the chlorinated water I use to water them when there's no rain). I wish a lot more people would get into organic gardening bc it also helps the environment.
This is perfect advice! As per me, since I have not been adding extra sugar and avoiding sugary foods like the plague, I feel a million times better and am not struggling to keep off the added pounds.
Heyo - just wanted to let your readers know that there was a new study from UMass saying that a combination of water and baking soda in a bath is very effective in removing a large amount of glyphosate and other organophosphates from vegetables.
Lost 1/3 of my body weight by virtually eliminating junk food, limiting less healthy food, reducing a ton of sugar, eating healthy fruits and veggies (upping fibre) and upping protein. Still drink Diet Coke and while it is not nutritious, I believe it still helped me achieve my goals more than it harmed me. I believe you need to follow the healthier diet you will stick to, to see results. Expecting perfection is not needed and can defeat you.
Even when you buy organic do not trust them and wash everything thoroughly before preparing and eating it. We don't have control of the handling or the way it was transported from the field to your table. Unless you grow it yourself always assume it needs to be washed or rinsed. I can't find crab apples anymore because it doesn't sell. When you live in the city you are limited on options. Do the best you can with what you have available and bon appetit.
I learn that fat in its processed form is ab empty calorie rather eat your calories example eat olives, eat avocados etc instead of pouring fat on your plate can increase the number of caloric intake
Would the planet be able to produce and sustain enough resources if there were no natural selection? What impact do you think this would have on other species?
I juice, but I never throw the pulp out. I freeze, put in stir fry, soups, stew, etc. But I drink juice, in moderation. I haven't had any sugar for over a year.
Hi Dr Gundry. Could you tell in one of your videos or here - is fructose/sugar OK for an athlete if s/he burns it immediately? How best is to to fuel workouts?
One of the questions that I had with regard to the mechanism of action to the artificial sweeteners. That anecdote about the pancreas producing insulin in anticipation of sugar/sugars, why isn't that the case with monk fruit or allulose?
what about blueberries and blackberries and raspberries, they don't have such elevated GI? I eat the for the polyphenols. so what's up with that? I'm far from fat.
Dr. Gundry, with reference to sweeteners destroying the gut bacteria, does this apply to Stevia, Monk fruit or Alullose as well? Or, are these sweeteners ok to consume?
Hello there Dr. Gundry! I am really excited to follow your diet protocol ( as a vegan ) however, I have a couple of questions. I still have a bunch of unacceptable food that I just can't afford to throw out. I don't make a lot of money and I live in my vehicle. I have a bags of Indian basmati white rice, tons of lentils, cashews, flax and chia seeds as well as some canned fruit ( cranberry, pineapple) . Is there any way to make these foods safe until I can use them up? I will absolutely not buy any more of them, but money is tight and I am hoping to use them in moderation so I don't waste them. Also - I have those glass pots and pans - are they acceptable to use for cooking? I also use supplements from Markus Rothkranz, who, along with his gorgeous partner Cara Brotman are raw food vegans. Thank you so much!
Does somebody want to kindly inform Dr. Gundry that he's 30+% body fat? No offense, but whatever he is eating, I'll pass, doctor or not. I'd rather be fit with a 15-20% bodyfat and able to take my shirt off without repulsing people.
Quick summary: Don't eat anything. It could include glyphosate or lectins or other bad things. Meat is bad. Fruit is bad. Most vegetables are bad. Everything sweet is bad. The only thing you should consider eating is extra expensive locally grown organic food from farmers you know by name. Yes, that is completely realistic.
Just when you think your food life style is on point, you’ll start hearing don’t eat this, don’t eat that.. looks like grow your own🥬🥕🫐🍎raise your own🐔🐄🐖food. Self FDA is way too Go! Its not a one size fit, but so simple, eat nutritiously🥙 those foods right for you, but in moderation local (US) grown WF from creditable food sources. At end of day always do the best you can 🤷🏻♂️🐣🦉
Alternatively, eat anything and everything, because everything is poisonous in some way or another. Just eat them within a time restricted window aka intermittent fasting, because the fasting window gives time for our bodies to heal and purge them of all possible toxins hopefully.
Hinduism or India medicine don't allow for the eating of beef. For many reason other than religious. This is the oldest form of medicine recorded. Along with science and astrology this is wisdom the west world lacks or refuse to acknowledge. You don't need beef to live a healthy life.
TL;dr nothing new:
1) low-fat diet and products
2) high sugar and fructose (fruit juice)
3) glyphosate contaminated food (from intensive farming)
4) diet soda (sweeteners)
Most of my teens-30's were low/no fat and no wonder I was starving constantly.
So what is the short version of worst foods ? Please

Where's the study?
Thank you for covering the topic so comprehensively.

Whoever reads this, I pray to the universe to cure all your diseases, and to remove all your pains from your daily life. 🙏

Amen
If you pray to God you will get further than praying to the universe

Absolutely true, John M.
8:05 Very cool way to get your fiber: Juice your fruits and veggies, throw away the juice, eat the pulp that's left behind.
Great if you’re a cow or a goat.
Happiest of holidays to you and Penny 🥂🎄

Why do they use Roundup then?
And pack the oncology clinics.
Because they can. Capitalism is based on the bottom line. They use croundupc for the same reason cnikec makes their shoes in the East.

You can drink coffee 😊
Yes, it's a good soluble fibre and therefore good for our so-called "gut buddies"
Although it comes from a bean! Huh...?
Please tell me I can drink coffee…
I'd drink it regardless lol
*You can drink coffee.* Here you go ☕

Sounds like Dr. G. may need a good dose of D3. I can hear it in his voice.
