    I think in the beginning
    He may have said “VTEC”
    Instead of ZETEC
I’ve had a few focuses and just bought one
It’s one of them does what it says on the tin but drives really really well when you push it!!

Tall Paul hi guys great vid ihave owned a2001 focus 1-8 zetec since 2013 one previous owner full service history only done98654 miles and still drives really well still with original suspension all round a bit of rust starting to come on rear arches but other than that rust free my mechanic has waxolyed the underside for the last 4 year's which has probably helped sailed through last MOT so all in i agree with you lads ford made a great car 👍🙂

I got my first Ford out of 25 different cars over the years , I bought it last Easter for only £550 ,, it's a 2004 1.6 automatic,, and all iv done to it is change the water pump.
its now got 123'000 miles on it and to tell you the truth it's one of the best cars IV had,, even though it's a 1.6 it's very nippy I got 120 mph ,, it drives lovely at 80 just a tick over 3000 revs.. so to me the focus mk1 still looks modern ,,maybe a future classic .

    Greetings from South Carolina, USA!
I love my ZX3, and he's been the best driving car I've sat in. The steering isn't loose and flimsy. You point and shoot the focus like a trusted arm, sure it will hit what you're aiming. First gear could be a tad longer, but the MTX75 manual is a trusted and top running tranny. The 2.0L screams with absolute fire and fury. I cut the lunchbox and cats out from under him for one of those stainless bolt on systems and while the shiny new headers are a beautiful sight, I grew tired of the exhaust drone from the thin resonator before long. Will replace with a real muffler so I can get back to hearing it's throaty chant. When you fellows mentioned it as a driver's car, I couldn't agree more. No other set of wheels I've driven has given me quite the same thrill nor the same shit-eating grin as my focus after a fast hairpin, or a quick little highway pull. At our family-run mechanic shop its an understood running joke that Ford seems to trip over there own feet when it comes to design or implementation (as my granfather says, "If it weren't for Ford Motor Company, I wouldn't be eatting tonight.") but even my Chevy-loving skeptic elders and customers agree, "That car was just built right."
Loved the video! Peace to all you Focus-fanatics out there!
(p.s. If you ever have the chance to try a 94 escort, that is also one hell of a little car too.)

You guys have nailed where a lot of folks generally figure out later and that's good audio. having watched your intro video, I would not have expected less since you're audio guys. Overall quality is decent. And here are my suggestions...
Invest in a camera that will shoot a few different frame rates at 1080p and above. For B roll and such you need 24fps to have smooth panning shots like those of the outside and interior and 60fps for those times when you want to slow things down a bit. I would have really liked to see a clean lens and 1080p. 720 is OK but your budget cell phone hasn't had a resolution that small in a while, so snag something that will do full HD...
You need more camera angles in the car. A few more perspectives during the drive will keep things interesting.
Overall great start for sure! Come to the Seattle area and we can take out my Midget! You guys called it a "Corker" today on Instagram. I know some folks with interesting cars if you're ever on this side of the pond.
    Cheers!

Great video guys - my daily driver is a 2000 year 1.6 Ghia which my daughter is going to take to uni and I’m now looking for another one! They drive much better than the current generation- I had a mk4 on loan immediately before I got my mk1.

The multilink rear suspension is brilliant in a Focus. I love my piece. That's a '02 Turnier, the 1.8Zetec petrol engine. As a matter of fact, its a closed chassis family pickup for me.
