It's a crime he only cut one album. He should have been on the AC charts or at least Easy Listening charts throughout the '60s and '70s. The arrangement was beautiful too.

I remember when Golden Girls premiered, my Mother mentioned Betty White had been married to Allen Ludden, host of Password. It was like being given a little secret bit of knowledge. I had no idea who was who. Since then numerous times something would come up referencing Password & I would say to myself or whomever oh that was Allen Ludden, married to Betty White. That was my one trivia to past hosts of game shows lol. Now that we are saying goodbye to Betty White, every game show with Allen & Betty has shown up on recommendations for RUclips. They will live together forever on T.V. They were beautiful role models of how couple’s respected each other, not like that trash family everyone is glued to the t.v. To watch their antics! R.I.P.

Learned so much about Allen Ludden after his beloved Betty reunited with him on 12/31/21. He was most known as the Password host. In watching a number of YT videos lately, when he and Betty met, they performed summer stock theater back East and both performed in “Brigadoon”. I never heard his singing voice until seeing this video. What a treasure! And the lovely photos of Betty & Allen together confirms they were twin flame soul mates for life and eternity. In interviews, Betty said she turned down Allen’s proposal more than once, while Allen continued to wear the engagement ring on a chain around his neck until Betty finally accepted. If that’s not true love, then I don’t know what is. Betty had said she regretted losing that one year of not being married to Allen, as she only had 18 years of marriage with him before he passed away. They are a beautiful couple! 💕

It was nice to see them together on 'The Loveboat', it was filmed less than a year before he passed. A corny but funny piece, glad they had that time together, forever memorialized on film.

She never remarried, who could with a hunk like Allen. Not sure where she will be buried, but would like to think it will be with him. But if she is cremated, I would hope she would have some of her ashes scattered at the house in Carmel, and the rest buried with Allen.
