Thank you! so glad this video was able to help you out, I was quite doubtful about it but you guys made me think otherwise ❤️ lovin the Godot community
I'm new to Godot and I had a quick question! Did you import the character as a jpeg into Godot or a different file? Also does anyone know of a free photoshop?
Thank you! Im so glad I could help you out ❤️ I'm actually planning to go on and continue this tutorial with advanced character design and animations! stay tuned!
Any updates on the 16x16 series? I started using GB Studio and since it’s meant to be flashed to a game boy, the character limits are restricted to that size.
Fifteen or so years ago you couldn't browse even the smallest game asset site without tripping over pixel tilesets and base tilesets to start with. hard to find anything nowadays so thanks for the vid and keeping it alive.
Wow thank you for the GREAT explanation on this. I've been struggling with drawing simple things and coloring them with some definition but you made it so easy.

bro when adding new weapons to the main sprite is better to remake the full sprite draw or it is posible to attach/detach the sprite u want to change if it is related to combat system which approach is better?.
UmaiPixel's tutorials work the best for me, the guy just takes it waaay further ahead when it comes to explaining codes. But I'm also planning on doing a tutorial series soon as i'd get a better hold of coding! I appreciate the comment btw ❤️
If you call it TUTORIAL for COMPLETE BEGINNERS you should have started with what is a sprite, what's the difference between a sprite and a simple image.
Whatever you did in audacity or whatever audio editing software you used, it saound horrible. Maybe noticeable to me because I'm wearing a headset but I couldn't even watch the video because of the buzz in the back from and under water sound on top that sounds like you did waaaaaayyy too much noise cancellation due to a crap mic or you adjusted bass tones. Maybe a good vid... not going to thumbs down but sure as hell can't watch with that sound editing. Next time don't try so hard to adjust your voice... just use your voice
I have seen quite a number of pixel art teaching videos, this is one of the best so far. You are willing to share the key pointers which is lacking in other RUclipsr's viedos. Keep it going.
