    ✨New here? Introduce yourself in the comments!
    I’ll go first:
    I’m Christina. I’m married to my best friend, Seth, we have 5 kids (ages 3, 4, 8, 12, & 15), and love our family, Jesus, and adventuring together.
    I have experience as a public school teacher, private school teacher, and homeschool mom!
    I love the Charlotte Mason education approach, and many others, but I’d say we are more of an eclectic homeschool-mixing the different aspects of homeschool styles that we love-living books, literature-based learning, unschooling, nature study, and so much more!
    Whether you are considering homeschooling, new to homeschooling, considering alternative ways to educate your child, or just looking for some encouragement and inspiration for your motherhood journey, I hope you feel welcome and encouraged here 🤍

    This was definitely helpful. I really love seeing how you use all your resources and curriculum on a day-to-day basis.

    My son does the same thing, as soon as it is time to do some school work- he’s suddenly hungry!! 😂😂😂

    I'm curious as to how long all of that takes, especially the read-aloud time. Those are a lot of books at once! My kids can handle about 20 minutes of read-aloud time, and that's one chapter or one picture book. I know that all kids are different and that we shouldn't compare, but I am interested to know.

      It varies so much! If they start getting too squirrely we take a break!

    Love this thank you for sharing.
    Do you keep the same rhythms on days you go out like for a nature o-op or child activity?
    Happy birthday to your husband 🎉

      No, it really does change based on what we have going on that day!

    Thank you for creating this video! It can be hard when “the ideal” in your head ends up looking nothing like the “real life” execution of your perfect plan. 🤪 I’m sure you have a cart or box next to your table that is filled with what you need, but I would also love to see how you prep everything for the day/week. Is it as short and simple as grabbing what you need from the box and flipping to the next page? Or do you sit down once a week and create more detailed plans/goals for each upcoming day?

      @RootedHomeLife  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes! I have a main basket I pull from daily! Some weeks I plan, some I don’t! This week I did not 😅 I think I’ll try yo share more about this next week!

    Love your videos!! I noticed your Playful Pioneer curriculum. Could you talk more about it? How you use it or some of the things you've done? :)

    I read October October to myself. My kids didn't want to give it a chance.
