Well said Orange County DA. LA County won't do it. LA County is the same county that took away a good citizen's right to bear arms for protecting himself and his family. LA County and LAPD should be held accountable.
The first thing that needs to happen is for people to wise up and realize when they're being fed political nonsense.
Tell me, how is LA County supposed to be held accountable, and under what laws??? We're talking about counties, not countries. There are no border walls between LA and Orange. Furthermore, when a crime is committed, only law enforcement that has jurisdiction over the target area can take action.
The home address of a criminal is not the primary concern. It's like the sick killer who drove across the country and killed those college kids. His home state has nothing to do with the crimes.
If you're not aware, the LAPD and the FBI have made dozens of arrests in the past few weeks regarding retail theft operations in LA County. There are dozens of videos detailing these arrests.

The absence of logic is so unbelievably tragic. First, it was Right v Left. Then it became state vs state. Now it's county vs county.

Again, where a criminal lives is not how crime is ranked or combated. Where crime happens is. Furthermore, perhaps you are unaware that LA County is the largest county in the nation with the most amount of people who have moved into it from other states and countries. Right now we have a serious problem with criminals coming to the US, many on Visas, and working for organized retail crime operations. While doing their crimes, they choose to live wherever housing is most affordable. Do yourself a favor and read over this paragraph one more time.
Tell me, is LA County responsible for the homeless issues in the OC, in places like Newport Beach? Must be, right?! I mean OC hasn't been able to resolve the problem.
How about Costa Mesa, Westminster, Anaheim, Tustin, Buena Park, Santa Ana, Brea, Fullerton, and Garden Grove, all of which have crime rates higher than the California crime rate? Spoiler Alert: According to court docs, many of the charged people are residents of the OC.
In Orange County, there are more than 13,000 documented gang members. Must be the fault of LA County, right?!
