  • remove the temp sensor and lambda first. its not going to fit out with those on. differential pressure lines can be on during removal.

Very helpful. I am following the steps because I am replacing my motor mounts (2012 E-350) but I cannot get the DPF to release -- I removed the top clamp but it is still stuck. Hmmmm.....

if you spray the connection with oil (wd40) and smash it lightly with little hammer.. does it release?

Older diesels didn't have such worries.

older diesel where dirty as fak
and the real problem is car shell is less rigid or crash safe.. Other drivers decide to crash you and end your life so modern car is better for every day use, especially autobahn usage

Without the mistakes and good ramps. Maybe two hours. If every bolt comes out easily. And maybe two to put it back.
